My daughter was here for six months until the wait list opened up at the center in the office building where I worked. I have regretted leaving. My daughter adjusted well enough to her new day care and likes it but I really like the director, the curriculum, the food, the caring nature of all the care providers, the spacious center and how much my daughter loved Joy Picus. This is where my daughter started pre-​school after being at home with her grandmother. It was a tough transition but the director and teachers were so loving and patient, that we could not have transitioned so well anywhere else.

My son attended Joy Picus for 2 years. The staff is amazing! Everyone from the food preparer to the director, Tamara, are fantastic. The teachers are very loving and caring. They teach the children a whole lot, take them on library and farmers market trips. It’s also a very secure facility. Teachers Linda, Claudia, Joanna, Liliana, Hope and Mercedes personally took cate of my son and they were amazing! I highly recommend this center to everyone.

I’m so glad my 2 ½ yr old son was accepted, it’s a GREAT feeling to have him so close to work. The Director is always available with a smile to answer any questions or concerns. The teachers are amazing!!!; they are so lovable and attentive to the children. My child looks forward to the weekly show & tell, field trips and events. Glad to know they are working on getting accredited by the NAEYC.

There is a dearth of quality child care places in the downtown area. After doing substantial research and identifying the places I wanted to enroll my child, I found that all the best day care places had extensive waiting lists. I found out about Joy Picus having an opening through a colleague. I had my reservations about placing my child in daycare because she had not been alone in a daycare environment for an extended period of time. However, she loves it there. Teacher Linda is very caring and knows how to treat children with understanding. The program is mixed with art, science, cooking, field trips, and outdoor play. I am happy to have my child there. You would be too.

one of the most secure and safest preschools i have ever been to! really you cannot find it unless you know where to look! the grounds are beautiful and spacious and the curriculum is amazing!
