I’ve been seeing Jose for about 4 years, and im never disappointed! He and Rene are a great team and it’s always a fun (and hilarious) experience. Come here for inexpensive top quality haircut in Beverly Hills.
My girlfriend has also been seeing Jose for much longer then myself for a color and cut. She loves the work that he does and couldn’t be happier with her hair.

Jose has a magic touch. My hair is both fine and thin. Jose cuts it in a way that makes it look like it has volume. I’ve tried other hair stylists, including one at a very expensive salon in Beverly Hills that a friend talked me into trying, and none of them have close to making my hair look as good as Jose does. From now on I’m sticking with Jose.

Jose is hands down the best hair stylist I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. He is truly gifted when it comes to finding the perfect haircut.
I came to Jose with a haircut idea and he gave me his advice in which he told me to reconsider due to the amount of hair I have. I listened to him and we agreed on a different haircut. I can’t begin to tell you guys how much I love my new haircut.
Jose takes his time with every customer until he or she is happy with their results unlike many other hair stylists that I have visited in the past.
Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time with other salons, go to Jose. I promise you will not regret it

I first found Jose about 20 years ago. Even though I moved to Manhattan Beach long ago, I still drive to Jose’s. He does such a great job, has a nice salon (with easy parking) and is a really nice person. On occasion I have to go to someone else as I can’t get up to Los Angeles (or am traveling) but I will always go to Jose if there is any way I can squeeze it into my schedule. My color is always perfect (people comment on how great it is that I have «natural» red highlights) and the cut is exactly what I have asked for. For 20 years he has consistently cut my hair exactly as I wanted it and since I started coloring/​highlighting about 10 years ago, done my hair so natural looking that most people have no idea that I have this done. Jose also did my hair for my wedding and it was perfect. On top of all of this, his prices are very reasonable.

Jose knows how to cut men’s hair! I have curly/​wavy hair that has a mind of it’s own. I’ve been seeing Jose for over 10 years now and every time I see him I’m delighted. It’s even at the point now where I don’t give him any direction and he knows what to do. I always leave happy and feeling good.

Okay. So. I’ve been thinking about trimming my hair for the past couple of weeks now but I’ve been pretty hesistant because every time I go into a hair salon I come out crying. (Out of anger). To keep things simple, I spontaneously walked into Jose’s salon to just get a feel of pricing. The second I walk in I am greeted with all smiles, warm welcomes, and a flexible schedule. I walked in without an appointment and he took me right away. (Which is a BIG plus). I tell him I want to trim my hair and he assures me he won’t chop it off, thankfully! When I was at his salon, I felt like he was my friend, I almost forgot he was cutting my hair. He was SO entertaining, funny, loud, and bubbly. I loved everything about him. Not only was it a joyful experience to just be sitting in that chair, he did an amazing job! I couldn’t say one bad thing. To be honest, I was actually surprised. For the first time in my life, I walked out of a salon with a smile on my face, flipping my hair in the wind, and taking numerous selfies! Although, when I checked this place out on Unilocal,I saw one bad review which made me hesitate and second guess myself. After actually going to the salon, I can honestly say that I have nothing bad to say. LOVE YOU JOSE!!! (Hope you’re reading this) :)

I love how I feel when I leave Jose’s salon! My hair feels healthy and looks great. On top of that my hair continues to have a great style to it after months of getting my hair cut. I love his personality and enjoy spending time with Jose while makes me look fabulous!

I need to update this review — it’s been almost five years since I put it! I still go to Jose and he is the best and sweetest person who has ever done my hair. I’ve lived in New York and Paris, among other places, but I can honestly say that Jose has been my favorite. He works with you to make happen whatever hair style, cut and/​or color you want, and I’ve always looked good and gotten compliments. I’ve been going for years now upon a friend’s recommendation as she went to him when she used to live in Los Angeles. Everyone who wants their hair to be done well should go to Jose.

Fantastic cut and color. I’ve seen Jose for several years, and he does an amazing job. People always complement my hair color and cut. Not sure what happened with Jennifer B; me thinks maybe her friend might have made the mistake cutting her hair. Anyway, Jose is an absolute professional. Going to his salon is a relaxing and welcoming experience, just like catching up with a friend. Jose makes you feel comfortable and valued. He always asks about the color and how much to cut. He listens and the results are fabulous!

I have been seeing Jose of Beverly Hills for at least 18 years. I drive from Oxnard to his shop in Los Angeles. Why? Because he is the best hairdresser in the world. Wherever I go people ask me who does my hair because the cut, color and style are amazing! His shop is clean and welcoming. I don’t know what is wrong with Jennifer B., but she is WRONG! Maybe she was just having a bad day when she wrote her malicious review. Jose would NEVER do a «revenge cut.» I love Jose and would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a fabulous experience with outstanding results.

Jose of Bev Hills is awesome! I called him a few days ago without an appt and he was so flexible to work me into his schedule. Seeing him for my cut and color is like visiting an old fried. Not only a great manner but I love love love how he cuts/​colors my hair!!! Gets it right every time! He’s also cool enough to add more change to my meter if I’m about to run out of time. Who does that in LA?!! Jose does!!!

How sad to be writing this. After going to Jose for at least 10 years for wonderful cut and color, he ruined my hair! :(and it cant seem but anything but intentional. I put up with the dirty dumpy salon for so long because I loved what he did for my hair.
I had no idea that someone would give a «Revenge Cut» because I let my friend cut my hair once and went back to Jose. I have now gone from long blonde hair to my mid back to fried hair that had to be cut above my shoulders in an attempt to correct. He cut a good 6″ off only one side of the front of my hair, that was supposed to be a trim. One big weird horrible funky layer on back, uneven right to left. I loved and trusted him… so sad.
If you try him, just realize that you can’t leave and go back.

Jose does an awesome job cutting and styling our entire family’s hair– 2 parents and two kids! So professional, friendly and fast. He’s always on time so no waiting!

I used to go the Jose Eber and spend a fortune with rude clients and snotty staff. I found Jose through a fancy Hollywood agent friend of mine — he was her «best kept secret». AND he has been cutting and coloring my hair now for 10 yrs! Such a wonderful man and really sweet little shop. I feel revived and gorgeous every time I go. My sister, Mom and two friends are now with him:) Its been wonderful.

Jose is a master of his craft! I have very long, thick hair and the stylist who used to do my hair would take over four painfully long hours to highlight my hair. Fortunately, a friend recommended Jose as a better option! She was so right! Jose and his awesome assistant tackled my hair together and I was out of there in under two hours. He also did a better job of blending my highlights than the previous person so I can go longer between touch-​ups. All this for what I considered a very reasonable price — around $ 150 for a cut and color before tip. Do yourself a favor and check him out!
