I am so glad to have found a doctor I can trust. I came to Dr A after treatment by another doctor had resulted in a huge hole in my leg (about a fistful of tissue had died right on the middle of my thigh after she injected cortisone into a scar).
I was honestly a mess emotionally and everyone else kept telling me different things about what would keep happening inside my leg with time and how slim the chances were to fix it.
Dr A took one look, knew everything that had happened, explained it to me and suggested treatment. A couple of weeks later I had surgery and no one can believe their eyes when they see the result — it’s perfect! You can’t even see anything in that area!
I will never trust anyone the same way, he is amazing and so knowledgeable and patient.

Sitting in waiting room with my King Charles service dog being asked to get him off the sofa. Asked to show papers twice. Told he is not allowed here unless he’s a seeing eye dog. I have never been told I can not have my service dog with me. I come here often to see other doctors.
At least fifty times in the last three years and not one doctor has ever had any issues.

I just wanted to give a quick shout out to Dr. Aronowitz. I hadn’t seen him in 17 years, and it was like visiting an old friend catching up. He is a true gentleman. Great office staff including Lisa who handles the billing among other things.
I needed to have about half a dozen moles removed and the procedure was practically painless. Besides being a true artist with a surgical knife, he has a wonderful sense of humor as well. No one likes to be «under the knife».. .but if you’re in need of a highly skilled, warm, friendly plastic surgeon, look no further. Dr. Aronowitz is the best!!!

When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I searched high and low for the right doctor who had both the bedside manner and track record to do an excellent job. Dr. Aronowitz and Dr. Ellenhorn performed a mastectomy on my right breast in May 2013. In December 2013, Dr. Aronowitz performed the reconstruction and the breast looks beautiful. I’m actually amazed. His staff has been supportive, responsive and impeccable. Thank you!

I came to see Dr. Aronowitz as a 31 year old female to discuss reconstructive surgery from radiation damage after having bi-​lateral retinoblastoma, a cancer of the retina. The radiation administered to the temple area at the age of 17 months had caused extensive bone, muscle and tissue damage in the temples and surrounding area. I had previously had two reconstructive surgeries on this area, one using stem cells. I was extremely skeptical about going to yet another plastic surgeon because I thought I was out of options for my rare condition. At my mother’s urging she and I went to see him. I thought I was only going to be gathering information, but through the course of my 45 minute consultation I was struck by how genuinely interested he was in my case. While my symptoms are not «normal,» and he could not guarantee success working with my damaged radiated muscles, he wanted to try doing stem cell injections to the temples to improve the blood flow, fill out the hollowed crevasses and improve the overall internal and external appearance of the area. I have had over 70 surgeries in my lifetime with around 15 different surgeons, and the comfort and faith that I had in Dr. Aronowitz truly brought me to tears. After a ten year battle with cancer and an additional ten years of reconstructive efforts, I thought for the first time in my life that I was done searching for «the perfect» surgeon to finish out all the rest of my future reconstructive procedures.
The surgery was a success, and in the 9 months since my surgery I have done two additional procedures with Dr. Aronowitz, PRP injections (blood plasma injections) and PRP mixed with Sculptra injections. Both of these injections were done to increase blood flow to the previously injected stem cells, and to attempt to boost collagen growth in the radiated area. These injections were done awake, and were extremely painful due to the damaged areas he was working with, but throughout the procedures Dr. Aronowitz told me jokes, talked to my friend who was in the room with me, and did his best to take my mind off the pain. While the procedure was not enjoyable, I likely would not have trusted anyone else to do it and am glad that I followed his advice to do them.
His office staff is wonderful. Everyone is polite and accommodating. His surgery coordinator, Lisa is easy to work with, and I absolutely love his surgery nurse, Patti. In addition to the stem cell work, I also had minor liposuction on my neck and had my breasts augmented using my own fat, something I did to boost my confidence and make me feel better about my appearance. I could not be more pleased with my new breasts.
I have since referred two friends to Dr. Aronowitz, with a third going to see him in the next few weeks.

After a left breast mastectomy in 2000 and 4 unsuccessful reconstructions, I came across Dr. Aronowitz while listening to NPR. His miraclous work restored my breast and my confidence. Dr. Aronowitz is a gem — the most decent human being and the best surgeon there is out there. His nurse Patty, informed, experienced, and compassionate, is a wonderful reflection of Dr. A. I hope that many other patients find their way to this extraordinary doctor and his pleasant and very helpful staff.

In summary, Dr Aronowitz is wonderful but his office & support staff is so bad I have to finish my treatments elsewhere.
I received breast reduction surgery from Doctor Aronowitz. He did a great job, but receiving scar treatment therapy has now been cut off due to not being able to handle the office staff there any longer.
Sadly, it literally concluded with them inviting me in for an appointment and then saying I could not receive a my treatment because I owed $ 600 dollars and making for a very heated and uncomfortable exchange infront of other patients. They actually told me I could not leave to reference my own financial records and call back. I thought they were going to call security or something. It was so embarrassing and even another patient pulled me aside in the hall and apologized that it had happened. After I had spent 16k on surgery there, to be treated like that is incredibly disrespectful. I’m not sure what diet pills their accounting person is on, but she literally handed me a piece of paper showing I had a credit of $ 600, as evidence of my nonpayment.
That wasn’t the start of it, as I had had many other horrendous correspondences with them: a) Telling me I would receive treatment from the doctor and then it was only the nurse b) Waiting three hours tin a robe he day of my surgery to be seen c) Rude remarks d) Not telling me ahead of time the doctor would be out of the country for a month when my treatments were needed every other week. On and on.
So, in conclusion I will end up with worse scars than I otherwise would have because of his poor support team. I hope that reevaluates the people in his office to fully utilize his talent and comforting approach with patients.
Update: There is nothing to correspond about. A credit of $ 600 that I still have with your office after that experience of total disrespect is not worth returning and going through any of that. I honestly have never been so embarrassed in my life when I had done nothing wrong. Also, I took my business elsewhere the facial surgeries I had discussed with the doctor are now being done elsewhere (25k worth of business gone). The work the doctor did is impeccable but sadly it is very scarred due to interruption in treatment. I wish him the very best and thank him from the bottom of my heart for an impeccable job. I hope he’s improved his staff since I was there.

Dr. Aronowitz is the best Doctor I have had since my journey with Breast Cancer started in 2006. I had a mastectomy on my left breast in 2006. For over 5 years and 2 more surgeries later I still was without a breast. My Doctor at the time said that nothing could be done. But then Dr. Aronowitz came into my life and 2 surgeries later within 6 months I now have a beautiful breast. The staff is understanding and always listens to your needs. Dr. Aronowitz is at the head of the helm and he runs a perfect ship. I thank you again for giving me back some of my beauty.
