I came here out of curiosity and was pleasantly surprised! I got turkey and avocado sandwich, which came with pasta salad, ½ orange, and a choice of chips or a soda. The bread was good and the sandwich had good flavor. The pasta salad was freshly made. I’d come back here more often if I have a day off like today or get off work early. One downside is that this place closes at 6pm, so it’ll be difficult to come here for dinner.

I always come here out of convenience and they have variety of food, drinks and coffe menu. My regulars are latte, bagels with eggs, sandwichs, iced bkended drinks and their boba. I love this place.

I work a couple of blocks away from Java Twist and they have the best sandwiches and quesadillas on the block. The owner, Kathy is very friendly and knows your name if you go there often. I am a return customer. I love their chicken salad, specially her secret receipe dressing. You must try! The coffee is the best. I usually have Latte with extra foam… ^^ So goooood. The interior isn’t fancy for sure but the food and drinks are great and the price is decent.

I’ve been going to them for years. I usually buy a Chicken Salad. Fresh, well done(and a good helping). The asian salad dressing is excellent. Occasionally I buy some carrot juice, or a sandwich. Juice great; sandwich — just ok. Can’t speak for what I don’t buy, but I see people there all the time who are regulars. They’re doing something right. Kathy, who works up front, is friendly and professional.

Great drop-in drop-out place. Quick turnaround for orders — gets quite busy at lunch. Not a typical sit-down place, although I’ve spent my lunch hour there plenty of times. Kathy is amazing and friendly. I’m picky, but she figured me out really fast. I try to make everything as healthy as possible(more veggies, no cheese, no sour cream), and she proactively accommodates, although always checks with me in case. I’ve gotten my green tea latte with soy milk here for MONTHS now and it’s the best, no matter how many chains or Koreatown cafes that I’ve tried(and I’m a green tea latte fiend). I get coworkers a smoothie or boba and they are extremely happy with what I bring — the portion size is bigger and the taste is a step above what you typically get. I am a fan of the wraps and soups. Also, depending on the season, there are great fresh fruit selections. I kept snacking on kumquats for at least two weeks b/c I dropped by here. Two thumbs up!

Love this place! Close to my work and I get breakfast/lunch there at least once a week. Affordable, big portions, and the woman who works there is so nice!

Java Twist is most convenient because it is close to my work and they provide good food and drinks with the best service. Kathy remembers your order and exactly how you like it. My favorite is their mango smoothie boba. They actually use real fruit in their boba smoothies. Their boba is the perfect consistency. The people in my office really enjoy their chicken quesadillas. It is chock full of seasoned and grilled chicken, pico de gallo and a tasty white cheese. The quesadilla is so filling that I’ve never finished it in one sitting. She also throws in a side of pasta salad that is made fresh each morning. Perhaps the owner has changed since the last review but it is one of my favorite go to places. They also have a wide selection of drinks: naked juice smoothies and other assortments that you can pick up quickly on the go. I highly recommend it! For a small coffee and smoothie bar, it has everything you need at reasonable prices. If you’re on the go, this place is perfect.

Java Twist is located right near my work in KoreaTown. I’ve gotten a couple of bagels from there as well as boba drinks, some pastries, a sandwich, and some drinks. Let me start off with their bagels. First of all, bagels are a pretty simple thing to make; slice, toast, spread desired spread, give to customer. I didn’t think they could mess that up but they did. On multiple occasions they’ve given me the bagel only partially-toasted, with a really light spreading of cream cheese. Not good. Their boba drinks leave much to be desired because their slushs taste warm and watered down in about 5 minutes after starting to drink them. I got a taro slush that was practically un-drinkable. The worst that I had there was the chicken salad sandwich. Chicken salad sandwiches are my favorite food ever and I expected that their variation of the traditional recipe would be good. I was very disappointed. Chopped stale chicken breast [and i mean stale!] slathered in best foods mayo on a stiff roll. So bad. So bad. I’m sure that they have something on their menu that is edible but I haven’t found it and probably never will since I’ve stopped giving them my business. Oh well.
