Jason Varley Drumming

At almost 50, I decided to fulfill a lifelong dream, and learn to drum. Half expecting to abandon my idea, I looked for a tutor. On my first search, Jason showed up. After a brief conversation, I figured I was in good hands. Jason is second to none. He is an amazing talent who can relate to any age group. A hectic schedule limits my practice time. I’m sure in any other hands, I would have thrown in the towel by now. Instead, this is my favorite hour of the week. Jason has an incredible way of keeping track of his students. Every week, regardless of my practice time, he advances my playing ability. Do yourself or your kid a favor, introduce them to an amazing experience and an amazing person.

Jason is great. I have been «playing» the drums for a few years without instruction. I decided as an adult to teach myself. Easier said than done. I have been going to Jason now for 2 months and have learned more in those two months than the previous 2 years. He watched me play for a couple of minutes and was able to see huge holes in my skill set. He gives me exercises and beats each week that are quickly filling in the gaps and making a huge difference. He customizes the entire experience. I am even learning to read music which I hadn’t picked up until now. Take the plunge and take a lesson with Jason. You won’t regret it.
