Ken is such nice guy, and most important, he has such a great talent at haircut! I’m an Asian with straight, short hair, so it’s hard to find me a good barber here. But my hair is not a problem for Ken at all, and he can totally understand what I want. So if you want a good haircut, find Ken.

Let me start off by saying I am extremely picky when it comes to my hair and I have been straightening it for over 10 yrs. I used to live in Hawaii and had a great stylist that was excellent at processing Yuko straightening.
However, when I moved to LA, I had difficulty finding someone as good. Everyone I went to damaged and over processed my hair, essentially frying the ends… until I found Ken. He is absolutely amazing! He carefully studies your hair to make sure he can straighten it as much as possible without damaging it. My straightening is also more complicated because I love to highlight my hair. Ken is careful to take that into consideration and my hair is the healthiest it has been in a very long time. He is conscientious, knowledgeable and very sweet. He makes you feel very comfortable and the time flies by. I have been back twice for the yuko straightening and my hair is the healthiest it has ever been. I absolutely recommend him. Your hair will seriously thank you.

My first time here! Absolute fantastic work! I got my hair cut short and I was a little bit worried that I might have to spend a lot of time everyday keeping my hair in shape. But Ken’s got magic. It has been about two weeks and the texture is still there every time I dry my hair. Ken’s very experienced and nice. Definitely recommended!

I’ve been getting my hair straightened regularly without a break for the past 7 years and my hair is a thousand times better now. It’s shiny and soft and has grown out nicely. It’s super easy to blow out and style. Holds curls well and even looks good when I just let it air dry. I contribute my hair’s stellar condition entirely to Ken. He’s recommended some great products that I love and saved me from further frying my hair with heat styling tools by informing me that being prone to frizz and having natural curls does not mean you have to use the highest heat setting possible! He’s like a Hair Fairy Godfather. Highly Recommended!
