I recently came here to get new glasses.
I absolutely loved the upgraded technology they use to take your eye exam.
I’ve wore glasses, practically all my life and I must say their exam was a breeze! Very quick & impressive!
my only complaint– sale assistant was too pushy having me try on frame after frame. not really giving me space to show my boyfriend and have HIM help me decide,
He was a cool dude, just needs to back off a bit.
When I came to pick up my glasses I notice another sales man opening a Prada cabinet that I was never aware off, and saw super cute glasses… except I’d already paid half for the pair I initially chose, I was bummed…
still, good experience.

This is one of the best places for a quick visit to the optomotrist. There is literally no waiting time, the frame selections are the best and durable. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants glasses or contacts. I bought my versace frames here, top quality and looks amazing.

There are a lot of unique glasses and posh name brands in here. Customer service is a hit or miss. When buying glasses it was great. When I went to pick them up the staff didn’t check the fit and I had to point out that the glasses sat crooked on my face. Typically optical shops ensure it sits well on your face so you walk out with fitted frames and a happy customer, but today was a different story. Nevertheless I would choose this location over the Vermont one.

What a wonderful place! I came in here because they are the American distributor of Swiss Flex. Even though I had not purchased my pair from here they put in the nose pads that had fallen off and were lost and gave me a new case… for free! John Kim was very courteous and so generous! The place was immaculate and they offer the most stylish frames. I will definitely come here next time I need a new pair of glasses! There’s also free parking in front of the store!

The best place for and prescription eyeglasses and high end sunglasses I have tried. Been a customer for almost ten years. Even though I am not Korean, the staff are always helpful, polite and efficient.

My wife got a pair of Kawasaki frames here which are not only difficult to find but very expensive even online. There prices here were not only $ 40 cheaper than the retail price of their closest competitor but $ 10 cheaper than that same competitor’s «discounted» price.
Service is fine except if you don’t know Korean you’ll be kind of lost (like most of the places in K-​town). Fortunately, Im Korean but if you’re not, you should probably take your token Korean friend with you. :)
Very good experience overall.

I got my glasses at italee and was able to pick up my order fairly quickly.
The problem is that the eyeglass pads were put in upside down! Since I live far from italee, I went to another place to have them adjusted. That’s where I was informed the eyeglass pads were placed upside down.
After l wear the glasses for a long time, I get a headache because the glasses become very heavy. I’ve never had this problem before with my prescription being filled at other places. It’s probably the «glass» material they use for the lenses, as the frame itself is of a light material.
For the price I paid for the glasses, I would expect better quality of service. I will never go to them again.

i LOVE this place! Whenever I find sunglasses/​glasses that I want, I always come here 2nd to find them. Usually they carry them and if not most of the time they can order them for you.
I noticed that their retail price is usually cheaper than the retail price at american places AND on top of that they ALWAYS give you a discount and NO TAX too!!! The only thing they don’t really discount on is prescription lenses.
Yesterday I went in and got myself the latest Chanel sunglasses, a pair of ray-​ban glasses with prescription lens, eye exam, free samples of contact lenses… all for $ 450! The Chanels, alone cost normally $ 340 and that’s not including tax.
The only thing I don’t like about this place is that one of the workers recognizes me and KNOWS I love sunglasses and exactly what types I like, and even though I’m not looking for sunglasses he’ll come up to me with a pair that he knows I’ll like and I end up buying them. doh!

Italee has always been my go-​to place for glasses, contacts, etc. I’ve been coming here since I was in 5th grade when I got my first pair of glasses. They have a nice selection of designer and non-​designer glasses that are priced reasonably. And of course, since it IS a Korean establishment, it is perfectly acceptable to bargain!
Contact and glass orders are quickly placed and it only takes a few days for orders to arrive. They’ll also make a temporary contact sample for you close to your prescription if you need it ASAP. Anytime you order or purchase something, they also provide you with plenty of samples.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my glass and contact needs!

After consulting with Kaiser, LensCrafters, and iLA… Italee was my last stop to purchase new specs.
Kaiser had a decent pair and it was inexpensive. But not exactly what I was looking for (I’m picky about my style of frames).
Hoping for a better selection, I went to LensCrafters and they had two frames I liked. The price however was astronomical: between $ 500 – 600.
Then I went to iLA, and they had a so-​so selection. I managed to find a pair but decided to give Italee a look. They had an inexpensive pair of Paul Frank frames and Chris (the guy who helped me) gave me a discount, too. Nearly, $ 250 cheaper than Lenscrafters!
The turnaround was great. I came in Monday and got my new eyeglasses on Wednesday!
Free Parking validation too. I can’t wait to buy a second pair…

I read somewhere recently about this place as being pretentious, and not worth the price. I don’t know what that lady had for breakfast that day, but I personally am a lifetime customer. My mother is Korean and followed this company from the motherland. She’s told me how she’s attempted «cheaper» places, with much dismay. I can understand how this kind of place may be intimidating (they have a GREAT selection of the latest eye-​wear!), however in the 10 years I’ve been there as a customer, they were always frank, courteous, and generous (yesterday a gentleman knocked off $ 50 from my prescription glasses). I now live in Boston, but will reserve my eye needs for when I’m in home for Italee…
