They have descent food but service is not that great. You have to wait for their service. Parking is difficult although there is a small parking lot in the shopping center area.

Good food, reasonable prices and a sit down restaurant environment.. Just about our favorite place to eat when we come to Los Angeles.. Wide variety of food options to select from…

Great hole in the wall place… it’s a little unexpected to find a Peruvian restaurant in Chinatown but there is one! The restaurant is bigger than it appears from the outside. We sat down and were immediately given menus. They have about 6 or 7 lunch specials, all for $ 7.95, which includes soup and a roll. Most of our group opted for the signature dish, lomo saltado, though a few got the pollo de saltado. The soup came out first… it was full of flavor, and perfect for this rainy day. Seriously, the soup alone(in a larger portion) would make for a fantastic lunch. Then came a basket of rolls, which were nice and warm. Our main courses came pretty quickly, and it was a lot of food! All of our dishes included a nice scoop of rice, perfect for soaking up the rest of the sauce! My dish was full of flavor, but there’s also a green sauce you can add for more spice. Service was friendly, attentive and quick! If you work close by, you can get in and out pretty quickly, which is good for those on a schedule. I left with a full belly and an eagerness to return again!

Delicious food. Have only eaten the lomo and the chicken. The beans are very good. One of my favorite things from this place. The chicken dinner is cheap and worth it. Whatever that green sauce they give it is tasty and spicy. Parking sucks here so that takes away. But overall good service and they are very nice.

This place is as legit as Peruvian Food comes ! They welcome you with a warm Aguadito Soup and warm bred and butter and a genuine smile… The lomo is a delight and one of the best strip steaks around… the ceviche is savory and authentic, and their ahi sauces are delicious and spicy… puts pollo inca establishments to shame… Picture a Peruvian Grandma in the back… oh and watch out for the location on the corner, its easy to miss since its actually on the Chinatown part of town.

Had this place for lunch and I enjoyed it. This was my first time eating Peruvian food so I ordered the Lomo Saltado. It was simple yet delicious. I will be back for more.

My first time here. This is a hole in the wall place. I tried their lomo Saltado lunch special and it was very salty. I think they over did the soy sauce. And the meat flavor was really bad. It tasted like old meat. I have had lomo Saltado at other restaurants with much better taste. The bread and butter was good. The ahi here lacks mayo it’s consistency is a bit too watery for my taste. The overall experience was homie. I was disappointed in the overall taste of the meal. Average rating

Hole in the wall type place. Seemed like a lot of regulars and families that come here. I had the Lomo Saltado(11.95) — marinated beef steak strips w/onions, tomatoes, and fries served with rice. It was delicioso. The workers were nice and efficient as well.

The soup that they give you in the beginning is really good. Their lunch specials are extremely cheap and the food is delicious. Also I cannot get over how good the green hot sauce is. Literally on everything. Try it.

Not the most beautiful and cheapest place, but very delicious, fresh, clean, kind, and authentic — that’s what matters! Verdict: One of my fav restaurants in town.

I tried this place out with my parents and it was really really good. The location is not great and parking can be hard to find. This place is worth the hunt for parking. I had ceviche mixto and it was pretty .

So good! They bring you fresh warm bread before your meal, the staff is friendly, and you will keep craving the lomo saltado– so yummy!

I liked how they started off very Peruvian with a chicken soup. It’d be nicer if it was more authentic and they made it «aguadito» style as opposed to your average chicken soup. The chicken itself was pretty good. The smoked flavor was spot on, but the breast was just a bit dry. The fries were on point. The Peruvian mayo was decent. I also appreciate them covering the windows and still making the place bright inside, but without the heat. The place itself is very clean and that’s always appreciated. Solid place to get some pollo a la brasa.

This is the only Peruvian food spot in Chinatown(that I found so far) and I’m so lucky that it’s walking distance from my work. It’s not so busy and they do seem to have a tiny private lot for you to park in. They offer lunch specials which are so worth it. They have their yummy Saltado de pollo for $ 7.50(reg price 11.50). Food: I really love the saltado de pollo and carne(they were both really good!) I also tried their boiled or baked potato with cheese on top which was cold(I think it’s mean to be served cold) but it tasted like just canned nacho cheese on top of the boiled potatoes which did not make it seem worth it to me… I’ll stick to the fries. It was nice that they offer complimentary soup and dinner rolls(I got this the first time I came here, but not the 2nd time. not sure if it was because they ran out?) Service was good and food came out quickly. Nice, hot, and flavorful. Really enjoy this place a lot! TIP: THEYARECLOSEDONTHURSDAYS!!!

This place is a little gem in the Chinatown area. They have great lunch specials. I was particularly impressed with their aji verde salsa and rocoto salsa. Many other Peruvian restaurants water it down to a more mild level of spiciness to accommodate the average American palate. Not the case here! I ordered the aji de gallina lunch special and it was huge! A great deal at about 7.99. Service was friendly and didn’t take too long considering the lunch rush. Next time I’ll try the pollo a la brasa. Will definitely be back sooner than later. P. S. The chicha is made in house, not powder from a packet. I asked ;)

This place is the real deal, for Peruvian slow roasted chicken. It’s that cooked over wood, rotisserie style that makes the chicken so good. The rolls are delicious and come free with every meal, also the chicken lentil soup was delicious. My coworker had the lomo saltado and said it was great. This place is a home run, order in or pick up.

The pollo a la brasa combo was about $ 6-$ 7, but i’d have to say that the combo was quite disappointing. The chicken wasn’t seasoned all that well.
