Pretty awesome. Food tasted great and the service was good too. It might’ve been that I was one of a few customers at the time, but nonetheless pretty spectacular. :) yummy soup, Tater salad and bulgogi dinner!

Had the Yooksoo Bulgogi which wasn’t that great. I think Hwang hae do is probably better. If you don’t like bulgogi, you probably shouldn’t even get this dish. It’s like bulgogi shabu pretty much. The lady kept burning the meat and wanted to keep the fire on high. The spicy I probably wouldn’t come back here in the future. There’s plenty of good Korean restaurants that you can go to in LA.

Came here on a whim with the little bro the other day after attempting to get cold noodles next door. Since the wait for lunch was too long, we decided to give Insadong a chance. The location is in the corner of the plaza, a bit tucked away and hidden. I believe they recently open as our waiter stated he has only been there for 3 days. Overall the experience was great. They have a pretty extensive menu and a great lunch menu where most items are less than $ 10. When I had no idea what a certain item was, the waiter was kind enough to double check and make sure his english translation was correct. I opted for the spicy beef noodle soup(vermicelli noodles, think shredded slices of beef, semi spicy broth, and other root vegetables) The soup was very good. Very healthy tasting, good flavor but not overpowering. The amount of spice was just enough for a slight kick but not overwhelming to the entire dish. It was a big bowl and served along brown rice, I was stuffed by the end of the meal. My little bro got this super light, very healthy, beef broth noodle soup that I can’t remember the name of. It was a very homey dish, and he really enjoyed it. Overall, I would give them a little bit of time to work up and get their groove all ready and settled, but I definitely won’t mind coming back to try other items. :)

this is old school korean food, namely what your grandmother likes. eg. old kimchi=‘moo geun kimchi’ i like it. the service was excellent. waitresses came by and asked if we needed anything. even dropped extra napkins before asking. uncommon for an asian restaurant. we had shabu shabu for 2. it was good. they made ‘jook’/porridge afterwards. with some kimchi juice, it was good. i miss ‘saritgol’, what insadong used to be but will come back and try other dishes. thumbs up!

Seriously the worst korean food ive ever had. Their $ 9.99 is a joke. The fish covered in egg was clearly refridgerated. Rice was old. Soy bean paste soup was old. Whats fresh and tasty about this place? Even the water tasted funky. Come on insadong get ur act together. Im sorry.
