You would think this is a place with great vibes and good energy, But there is a Guy Who works there that is round looking and a bit dark and hairy that is a complete DICK and has the worst energy and Vibes ever! I feel bad for the precious stones that he is contaminating! I asked him for help multiple times about the rocks, and he says he doesn’t know SH1T, so then why do you guys have him working there?
I can’t say for the one in echo park, But I’m doing y’all a favor, Please crack a whip on your employee or Change the people working in there! Your a Healing Crystal Rock Shop! You need people that actually care about the people, rocks, and the Vibes!

Visited the new HOI store while being in LA on vacay. Left the store feeling like a whole new man! Great vibes! And the store attendant Marvin is very knowledgeable. Thanks for your help bud!

As soon as I walked in, I KNEW I found the right place! It was just what I needed, their selection of herbs and incenses was pretty diverse, my gf really liked all the stones and bracelets.
5 stars, very helpful and knowledgeable staff, perfect location on Melrose, if you find yourself waking down there, make sure you stop off here.

This is my neighborhood HOI, perfect for when I need to pop in and grab something that I’ve run out of and then trot home. Marcy (sp?) is so great and so helpful. I love to overhear her give suggestions to those that ask or helpful hints and tips. She’s the sweetest. I’m so thankful that there’s a store near me now!

This place is exactly what Melrose was missing. It’s light and airy, lots of natural light and clean white walls. The staff is helpful and the store itself is impeccable. You will find loads of what you need and if you don’t find it on your own, ask someone who will be more than happy to help you.
The book section is a cozy little corner, and the selection of incense if superb. I can’t pass by without walking in and finding something I never knew I needed but realized I couldn’t live without.

I have frequented the Silverlake HOI location for quite sometime so was super excited to check out the new location so close to my home. Parking was somewhat of a challenge for me here as this is a busy area of Melrose and on a weekend I had to park a couple blocks away on the street after circling around for a little while. The location itself is beautiful, definitely more sleek and modern than the Silverlake location, but the retail space is VERY small and there was a rather limited selection of items in comparison to their other stores. Also, there is no additional studios for classes and workshops here. It’s nice that there’s a location close to me for certain items like sage, maybe a candle or two, etc. but as far as selection and inventory goes I will just make the drive to Silverlake, given how long I had to look for parking it all evens out anyhow. Hopefully they will be getting more inventory in soon as it would be nice to be able to have more stuff available here.
