A little on the pricey side for the amount of food but WORTH it! Really super delicious food. Not afraid to make the garlic fries extra garlicy! The bacon in the sliders is crisp and perfect. Really the best thing I have eaten all month and I eat out quite alot! Everything arrive fast and fresh. Everything was hot and delicious! Highly recommended you try this.

Seriously… Huge rip off. My husband and I ordered 2 «orders» of sliders(2 each) one with reg fries and one with garlic fries. She gave me an est cost of $ 16 which was fine for 2 orders. When she called our name we got one, yes ONE order of(2 tiny sliders) and the garlic fries. Brand made soda, right. It was a can of soda of your choice. Should say hand picked from the ice bucket. Then to top it all off she tipped herself majoring my debit charge an even $ 20. How convenient for her.

OK — experience. I ordered the Homerun Sliders combo with Fenway fries. The Fenway fries are excellent, delicious, HMMMM. Que rico. The Slider meat was burnt beyond recognition. NOGOOD. There were two customers in front of me and it took more than ten minutes to place my order. It took close to 20 minutes to get my food. Altogether, 30 minutes to get burger and fries from a truck. Too long. I felt sorry for the lady working inside. She was doing her best preparing our food. One person to take orders and prepare the food. It does not make any sense. She was working so hard preparing food for a whole lot of unsatisfied customers. A very challenging task. The experience would have been so pleasant if she had a second person helping her prepare the food. If you are impatient, I would not recommend it because it is frustrating.

The sliders are mediocre, the fries are cold, but on the bright side, it only took 25 minutes to get my order. At least the ‘hand made’ soda was an A&W. Now, to be fair, there were 7 people who were waiting on their orders before me, and they do have a sign saying they make each order ‘fresh’ and ask for patience, but apparently they don’t realize that most restaurants and food trucks have the ability to work on multiple orders at once. It seems that here, they don’t start order #2 until order #1 is finished. And all this for only $ 14. So, if you like grainy, bland meatballs and dry, chewy pulled pork, with cold and limp french fries, this is most definitely the truck for you. However, as I’m in downtown Long Beach, I could have gone to Congregation Ale House 2 blocks away and had a much better burger, far superior fries, and a cold beer for less money, and in less time. Thus endeth the lesson.

First of all, the prices are too expensive for a food truck and honestly the food isn’t worth the price. My fries tasted like the were reheated in old grease and some were burnt. The sliders we ok. The meat wasn’t well seasoned but the topping helped it taste a little better. I’m upset that I wasted $ 15 on that. Also, the lady that runs the food truck was rude. She was the only person in the food truck taking orders and cooking! I will never order for this food truck again and she needs to check her attitude!

The wait is long but the food is definitely worth the wait. I had the HomeRun Sliders combo w/2 sliders, fries, and a drink for $ 13. The menu online said $ 11 but I’m guessing there is a $ 2 service charge for using a debit card instead of cash? Pricing wasn’t really clear. That was my only issue. However, the burgers were delicious. You can tell by the taste(and the non-round shape) they are fresh and hand made. The buns, bacon, and Havarti cheese,(I held the caramelized onions) all compliment the beef well. Though understaffed and a little overwhelmed, I appreciate the owner of HomeRun Sliders Food truck coming to our location for lunch today. It was pretty tasty.

@HomeRun_Sliders I always hate to give a truck less of a score than their food deserves. But unfortunately, that’s the case here. I’l start by saying the food I had, the Fenway Fries, were very good. How could they not be? They covered all the basic food groups here, french fries, bacon, pulled pork, caramelized onions, cheese and spicy bbq sauce. And they put it together well. The problem is two other things. One, their service is slow, I stood in front of the truck for 10 minutes,(no one in line in front of me), before they took my order and then it took another 15 minutes to get ready. That’s not too bad but I’d hate to deal with this truck when they’re busy. Second, some, not all, but some of their menu items are a little pricey, 5 to 6 dollars for a slider is just a bit steep. Especially when combo plates are priced from 13.00 to 23.00. That is restaurant pricing. Food trucks are supposed to be faster and cheaper than that. Still, Based on how good the Fenway fries were, I’m still going to recommend the food. So hereyou go, a very borderline… ___________STALKER APPROVED___________

Wish I could give this food truck zero stars. Is it the food you ask? No, although I wouldn’t know whether that too is zero stars. It is the service. Our company requested this truck from 11am-2pm and they stayed from 11am-1pm. They complained that it was«too hot» and they did not«sell enough food,» for them to stay for the allotted period of time we requested. Please keep in mind most people eat lunch between 12:30pm-1:30 pm… Shortly after 1:00 a dozen or so employees and I go outside to look for the truck but were disappointed to see that they had already taken off! Yes, it is hot. But you ARE aware that we live in Los Angeles and we currently have a heat wave? Were you not aware of that when it was 90 degrees out this morning? We’re all hot. ATTN Homerun Slides: It is your job to cook food in your food truck. We are all happy at our jobs, if you’re so miserable at yours, work elsewhere. Our company(270+) employees will never consider them again. If you can’t follow through with an agreement(& you are total jerks,) we’ll take our«Food truck Fridays» elsewhere.

The food itself isn’t bad. It isn’t anything to write home about, but it definitely isn’t the worst food truck food I’ve ever had. The real reason this truck loses a lot of appeal is due to the poor customer service everyone who ordered from the truck received. The truck took over for another truck that went MIA at an event I was attending. This may have been part of the reason for the poor attitude displayed by truck employees, but that is no excuse. I felt the interaction with the staff was so poor that I began asking other people at the event I was at how their purchase went. Every single person I asked felt uncomfortable interacting with the staff. At one point my friend asked for ketchup for his fries(not unreasonable), only to have one of the staff mock his request as soon as he walked away. So while the food isn’t bad, I’d rather go hungry than have to interact with the staff of this truck.

I was enticed by the name, the branding on the truck, and menu. I hadn’t seen them at Grub Fest in Granada Hills before so I decided to try. After looking at the menu and prices I thought wow this is fairly inexpensive. $ 5 for a slider. I approached the order window and asked for two sliders. The attendant said«oh we don’t have this slider because my dumb coworkers forgot to pack the sauce.» Yikes it wasn’t that big of a deal and a simple, «we don’t have that tonight» would have been okay. I proceeded to order two HomeRun Sliders. When I got the sliders they were really small. Not sure if it was worth $ 5. They tasted good, but compared to other food I purchased at other food trucks the sliders didn’t stand out. Not impressed with the customer service or serving size. I was really excited to try this place I love baseball and was intrigued by the baseball references. I’m not sure if I would visit this food truck again.

meat was mediocre, toppings ok, but the ‘brioche’ bun was terrible. old and mealy. I’m suspicious of all their glowing reviews… even when the reviewers seem real, this truck incentivizes fake reviews by giving food to positive reviewers.

I asked for homerun slider. The hamburger was really good, the meat is delicious. The size is not too big, but the price worth the size. I would eat there again.

Really effin good food truck experience! FANTASTIC apple-mango soda. Serious. Should be canned. Joe DiMaggio meatball slider was one of the best I ever had. Wish I had some linguine to go with it. Standard HomeRun slider is very good. Not In N Out, but still a tremendous food truck eat. Great job. Can’t wait to come again.

So happy I went to eat at the Food Trucks at Narbonne High in Harbor City. With so many options i felt it was a crapshoot but decided on HomeRun Sliders and so happy I did. Sliders are mini burgers but these are full of big bites of flavor! The Sliders are names after famous baseball players … First up to bat was THEROGERMARIS, A Mediterranean inspired LAMBSLIDER … It was light & fresh but these savory flavored stayed with me ! This was an out of the park Home Run ! Next up to the plate was JACKIEROBINSON. A Memphis styled pulled pork topped with their Maple Bacon Bourbon sauce all topped with slaw ! Omg !! The pork was perfect but with that sauce they’ve hit another HOMERUN ! 3rd up was The DiMaggio … A meatball slider … And JOE didn’t disappoint ! Tasted like an Italian mothers meatballs topped with fresh Parmesan cheese ! Hitting clean-up and 4th to bat is their signature HOMERUN Slider … Crispy bacon & caramelized onions … Yes another HomeRun !! I also shared an order of their MBBFENWAYPARK Fries … Their Maple Bacon Bourbon sauce & pulled pork on the perfect & crisp fries ! This could be a stand alone meal … The prices are more than reasonable ! The mother and daughter team are fun & I could see a reality show based on them ! I already found @HOMERUN_SLIDERS on Twitter & I will be tracking them down often ! Let’s go out to the HomeRun Sliders Truck !

Just found this truck over at Narbonne High School and was pleasantly surprised. First of all, my wife and I received a very warm greeting, rather than the exasperated«hello» I get from most trucks that want me to hurry up and order. We each got a Homerun(I believe that was the name) slider and shared a side of garlic fries. The food was delicious. Everything about the slider was very tasty, and I loved that it was made to order and we didn’t get meat that was just warmed up. It was definitely worth the money. Followed them on Twitter and will be going back when they are close by. I’m excited to try some of their other menu items. I would definitely recommend giving this truck a try!

Saw this truck in Cerritos and, as a SoCal-based Red Sox fan, gravitated towards the«Fenway Fries» advertised. I didn’t make a mistake. I had the«MBB» Fenway Fries, which is an acronym for Maple Bacon Bourbon, which is the sauce the chef puts on the fries which makes them pop. Add the appropriate amount of MBB sauce to grilled onions, mozzarella, slow-smoked pulled pork and it is really a home run(as advertised). The pork had a nice smokey flavor, enough to know the meat was smoked and enough to justify the tender quality of the meat, but not enough to overpower the other flavors. The onions were nicely caramelized and the mozzarella was liberally, but not excessively applied. The fries were not greasy at all or overly salted. Top this divine combination of ingredients with bacon and one gets the powerful trifecta of starch, sauce, and savor that is the MBB Fenway Fries. This mother daughter duo kills it, especially for only being six weeks old. Way to give me a case of the happytummies, HomeRun Sliders.
