Hollywood Handyman

I have never written a review on any company and I usually don’t say anything unless it’s positive but I have to speak my peace today. If there were a negative scale then I would click on those negative stars. I called Hollywood Handyman and set an appointment last week for today at noon. I live in Santa Monica but the property is in North Hollywood so I drove and arrived from the west side and arrived before noon. At 12:10 I called to see if they were coming. The receptionist couldn’t find my information. She said she would call the repairman then call me right back. Ten minutes later she hadn’t called back so I called her and she said that he would come at 2:30. I told her that I didn’t live there and that I had driven from Santa Monica and had other obligations that day but she said that was my only option. So I waited for two and a half hours until 2:30. At 2:40 when no one had arrived or called I called her back. She said, «Didn’t anyone call you?» No they hadn’t. She said she would call me right back, which she didn’t. I called her back fifteen minutes later. She said the only thing she could do was to give me the repairman’s phone number. I asked her if she had spoken to him and she said yes and that he had told her that he would call me, which he didn’t. So I called him. When he answered and I told him that I had been waiting since noon after driving from Santa Monica and that it was now 3:00. He said, «Oh, well it may be another hour.» I was so mad that I said nevermind and hung up. I wasted my day waiting for these guys and they never even made an effort to communicate with me. I will NEVER EVER hire them.
