I enter this new space located in the heart of the «Pico Blvd Walk About «neighborhood/​community. I was amazed to find such an awesome and unexspected jewel. It was warm, calm, beautiful and inviting. The aroma made me instantly take in a deep breath and RELAX. The owner and staff topped off the wonderful experience like a cherry tops off your favorite Ice Cream Sunday. After taking that all in we (four of us) settled in (on large cushions on the rich chocolate wood floor) for a session of «Talk and Tea». It was simply just that!!! We talked and sipped tea. What did we talk about? What kind of tea? WELL… you just have to go on by there a see, hear, taste for yourself. You won’t be disappointed :-).

I’ve really been wanting to try out this studio since its walking distance from my house and they’ve been promoting it. Unfortunately every time I check the class schedule (the past 2 months) there have only been 3 yoga classes in session for the entire week, which are only in the evenings in the middle of the work week. I don’t see how they expect to grow their business when there is only 1 time slot 3 times a week. Hopefully they will work on having a more regular schedule so the public can enjoy the classes they have to offer!

A team of SKY leaders taught a restorative yoga class this Sunday and Harakati Studios held true to their vibe. The space is meditative; soothing and peaceful. I enjoy dancing on the dark colored wood while the melodies are whispering and the full length mirrors reflect the show.
This studio is evolving; rooftop venues, gardening space, raw cuisine and so much more to come. The location is PERFECT! I can grab some Jamaican food from ‘Wi Jammin’ or veggie soul food from ‘Mama Soul’s’. Thank You Dorje for listening to your soul and opening up this creative sanctuary for all!

I purchased a week of classes on their website, walked over to the studio the next day, and it was closed during their scheduled class time. I was able to get a working phone number (seems to be the owner’s cell) and was told they are closed for a remodel. Their website now states that they will reopen in October. I’ll give them a try when they’re reopened because the location is convenient.

First class free! I love that because your able to decide if you like the vibe or not. But so far, I really like this studio. It’s pretty new and they are getting things up and running. I’ll definitely come back. Pretty reasonable deals. Classes with Mi’Chele (Vinyasa Flow) are great she focuses a lot on ab work ladies! They have a raw kitchen so they make fresh juices for you! The people are sweet it seems like a real community. I want to try the meditation class to and I hear they offer guitar lessons on Wednesdays. Oh and they have bring a friend day! So you can bring a friend and their class will be free. Also making them eligible for a reduced membership cost! I see this place being a staple in my routine. It’s a pretty cool set up too very serene. But kind of gives you a NYC/​SF vibe. I’ve lived in both places and I like the feeling. It’s a start up company so, I’m sure they have tons to come! Check it out for yourself! Definitely worth a shot.
