My 1 Star Quota is Met For The Year I don’t like giving 1 star. Me giving 1 star is like women farting… you think it doesn’t exist, but once in a blue moon it catches you by surprise and it’s loud and clear. Not quite sure what to say about food on this one. It’s like if you could buy a bunch of nearly expired ingredients at the grocery store sale rack and threw it together then served it, this is what you would get. Both burrito and tacos could use way more meat as they were flavorless, room temperature, and stale. The burrito was tiny for the price. Cut in half they were about the size of a child’s fist. Even the chips tasted like they’ve been sitting out in a fraternity house all night and the tortillas felt like carpet. Yep. Don’t Diss Me, I’m Not My Hat. The truck was at an event at the new Boomtown Brewery in the arts district. I’m wearing a Bronco’s hat, the all american team, as I approach the order window. The guy says to me with a stern face,“We don’t serve Bronco’s fans.” I chuckle and laugh thinking he’s cracking a joke. Nope. With a straight face he stares at me for 5 seconds which felt like minutes. I break the awkwardness and silence by telling him I wanted a burrito and three tacos, paid then waited for my food that he probably spit in for all I know. The food is done and he summons me by yelling…“Hey Bronco!!! You’re food’s done.“ I’m not cattle and your food tastes like a dirty farm.

Had the opportunity to sample the shrimp tacos the other day, and man they were so good. It was served with pico de gallo and chipotle ranch dress on top of fried crispy shrimp. The taco was $ 3, and it was a little bit bigger than your street tacos, but smaller than your fried taco shells. It came with a lot of flavor, and it was made fresh to order. I really wish I ordered more, but I will definitely be coming back for more. The only drawback is the machine was not working that day, so good thing I had cash with me. Other than that, is was amazing and they were across the street from LACMA that day.

I’m very picky when it comes to burritos so for me to take the time to write a review about it is a big deal. I have the Mavrick burrito and it was awesome! The chipotle sauce was not hot and it gave it some good flavor. My friend had their regular burrito and likes it as well. BUT mine was our favorite I guess cuz of the cheese! Will totally go again. 4 starts before I’m not sure if the guy taking the order was being rude by rolling his eyes at use or if he was just high on drugs. My friend thinks he was on something.

I’ve had this truck twice. They can be a bit slow getting orders out but it’s totally work the wait. 3 tacos and a drink combo for $ 8 I had 1 pulled pork, 1 fish, and 1 scallop taco. Delicious! Burrito: I got this with the fried scallops. It was amazing. Good, fresh ingredients. The scallops weren’t over cooked. I just would have liked a little tang, the cole slaw on it was lacking in that dept One of my go to trucks when it’s around.

Walked down to the truck and got the special 4 tacos for $ 10. Not a bad deal. Tacos were decent but nothing exceptional. I had 2 pork and 2 chicken Santa Monica style. Basically had some BBQ sauce on it for the SM style. The 4 were filling but don’t know if I’ll be on the lookout for it next time.

This truck is at my workplace today, so I decided to give them a try. Overall, a B-. I ordered 2 steak tacos & a baja fish taco. The steak tacos were good, basic but tasty. But the reason they lost a star is because my fish taco was all batter! No fish to be found, 95% breading. Perhaps I got a bum piece? Not sure, but in any case, that was kind of a letdown. Other than that, it is a solid basic taco truck. And their pricing is good. $ 3/taco & they also have specials, like 4 tacos for $ 10 or 3 tacos & a drink for $ 10. I would order them again, just steer clear of the fish taco next time.

Manhattan Burrito with drink $ 10. Ordered without beans & actually got a burrito without beans !! Flavors were good, wishing there was more meat though… My friend got the three tacos and would go back, but he was still hungry too.

Probably the best tacos I ever had, the food was delicious. I had the opportunity to try the: shrimp, fish, steak and chicken tacos. This company gave out food for an RSPE event and made my night complete.

Concert at the park is just that! Not having to wait in line for your food which btw was mediocre. What was upsetting was seeing food distributed to people that have PRE ordered!!! While I wait almost 45min to give my order ! !

These guys are awesome! We hired their truck for a 75-guest party. The truck showed up promptly, and there were no problems at all. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Thanks for helping to make my party successful!

I love the seafood tacos and steak burrito from this truck! Your $$$ definitely goes a long way. They don’t skimp on the scallops or shrimp on their tacos. The toppings are also abundant but in the best way possible. Probably one of favorite trucks that come by Penn Ave in Santa Monica. Never disappoints!

I do love a good taco. This truck was in Beverly Hills and I tried it. They had so many tacos to choose from. My first choice was the Santa Monica. Very good and was tied for first with my next choice… the Palos Verdes. These two are still fighting for first place. My last 2 choices were the Laguna and the Baja. I’ve never had a battered scallop taco before so I enjoyed this one. The Baja was just a fish taco but tasty none the less. I’m going to have this truck again and would recommend it to any one. P. S. Tacos are $ 3 each.(I spent $ 12 and felt good about it) *2 thumbs up*

The truck swung by Hollywood and La Brea a week or two back and WOW I can’t wait for it to return! I got the La Jolla salad and(fortunately) asked what their meat choices were. My friends had assumed that it was just chicken/beef, but the guy taking my order went on to list out BBQ chicken, pulled pork, steak, scallops, shrimp, fish, and a few other things I can’t remember. I ordered the BBQ chicken and was very pleased with my choice. The salad ingredients were obviously fresh and chopped to order. The portion size was great(if not slightly too large) and kept me full right through the afternoon. Next time I want to load up on their $ 3 taco options because they all look delicious(on the menu and in person)! Thanks Hang 10, now come back ASAP.

Y.A.T.T.A. Yet another taco truck again! I like the charming taco names which are named after the beaches of SoCal. $ 3/taco, $ 8/burrito I ordered three items: Charbroiled steak(the Manhattan), Pulled chicken(the Hermosa), and Battered Scallop(the Laguna). Of the three, the steak was the most flavorful with a richer and sweeter marinade. The battered scallop was the the most memorable because it’s a unique protein in a taco. I would order these two again. The pulled chicken was a bit try for my taste. This place is decent and even though I’m only giving it 3 stars, I would go back. I’ll try the Baja(battered fish) and the Malibu(lettuce cup instead of tortilla) next time.

Got to check these guys out when they were at the Green Dot in Pasadena. I found out that it is owned and operated by a Lebanese Armenian family. Only in LA do you have an Armenian family cooking up Mexican Baja Tacos in Pasadena. Got the carne asadaaaa tacos which were super juicy and chewy. They had a lemon bitterness to them which was not overpowering at all. The chips and guac complimented the meal for all under $ 10. These guys should definitely open a brick & mortar place here

While checking out the 2014 Big West Barista Competitions, Hang 10 Tacos Truck was parked outside to serve all the hunger spectators. Serving various forms of tacos, burritos, and salads, all named after big surf spots. I ordered their special burrito(basically having both meat and potato), and found it really underwhelming. Everything seemed to mush together, yet the potato chunks still have a hard consistency. Really hardy, I guess if you’re hungry, but for $ 10, it was way overpriced and on the smaller size.

Considering I got two tacos for $ 6, I almost feel like there should have been a side of beans or guacamole… I opted for the shrimp and fish taco, in a lettuce cup. I recommend it that way, not only for the obvious reason but it makes for a crispier taco that adds a nice crunch in a sunny Los Angeles. They do have a 3 tacos + drink for $ 10 combo, which is nice, but the tacos are just not that filling and it’s just slightly pricier than it should be.

Pretty good tacos off of a truck. We were waiting for our tour at Warner Bros studio to start and this truck was parked right outside. As we had just arrived in LA that afternoon it seemed logical to get some tacos from a food truck for a proper West Coast lunch experience. Was a bit pricey for the size of the tacos(got fish and pork), but it was LA we were in. The wait was short but lunch-hour was long over so there was no one else around. We shared some pork tacos and I ordered a scallop taco which was pretty good. Nothing to write home about, but some tasty tacos of a truck which hit the spot.
