Amazing service, the food came right on time, and there tortas are soo good! And the man was a really nice guy and very entertaining! Coming from the Venezalono y Cubano

Been to almost every taco truck and Mexican joint in LA. This place is one of my top 3 favorites ever. The quality is good, he doesn’t skimp on the food, and the owner is super nice.

Super friendly fast service, awesome food. Got 4 tacos AL pastor, came topped with onions, cilantro, «spicy» as the owner/​employee called it, and a fresh slice of avocado. Asked for pineapple but don’t think he heard me. No matter, they were fantastic!
Only complaint is that they were GREASY. Like went though all the napkins in my to go bag and then went for more paper towels. I know that’s a lot of the flavor though and I don’t grab Mexican to be health conscious. 5 stars otherwise!

I came in here to get 3 tacos. now i been to places where you ask for 3 tacos and they feel like its a waste of their time, here was a whole different story as soon as i walked in i was welcomed by the guy preparing the food when i asked for my 3 tacos i thought i would get attitude but that wasnt the case he was just as nice as when i walked in the door and started a comvesation, when he handed me my 3 tacos he gave me a card to get stamped on my visits so work my way to a discount, cool guy.
The tacos are good the salsa is got a nice kick to it and the avocado is a perfect touch on top.

Still one of the best taco shops in LA. I have been coming here for years, I stop whenever I get the chance. The rotisserie chicken is better here than anywhere else I’ve tried. Definitely worth checking out if you love great food! The owner is very genuine and provides great service. His love for what he does is definitely reflected.

As someone who was born and raised in Los Angeles I was practically born with a taco in my mouth. It’s safe to say I’ve eaten mexican food every other day for the past 39 years, everywhere from the valley to tijuana, always trying new spots. I can die satisfied that I’ve found Guadalupe’s.
With regards to meat I only eat chicken and fish. Even pickier still I only eat white meat chicken and am particular about the type of fish I like. It’s rare to find a place that even knows how to properly prepare chicken let alone one that uses fresh high quality chicken. The chicken here is rotisserie and it’s some of the most flavorful, tender and perfectly cooked chicken I’ve ever eaten hands down. Not only that but they use the fresh rotisserie chicken to prepare the food your getting. Everything was freshly prepared and everything was exceptional. I got tacos, taquitos, rotisserie chicken by itself (to die for). Rice and beans were the only thing that in my opinion weren’t outstanding but I’m very particular and everything from the tortillas to the sauce was incredible. I could honestly eat here every day and I just might!

Fantastic hole in the wall Mexican spot. Great salsa but the RED is the best. Great depth of flavor. I had the enchiladas with carnitas. Carnitas has great flavor and had been slow cooked. Soft tortillas amazing rice and beans. Very fast service and the guy up front was really dope and personable. Check this spot out. Even with all the Mexican spots in LA its always hard to find one that leaves you satisfied this one definitely does!

Absolutely delicious!!! Their asada tacos are so juicy and spicy and their quesadillas are super cheesy and huge! The owner is the friendliest guy ever, I will definitely be a regular!

Amazing food and friendly environment to match! The cook is very accommodating for non-​meat eaters which I greatly appreciate. His food is always deliciously fresh! Red Hot enchiladas are to die for they come with homemade tortilla chips too! I love this place. Try it! Try it!

Great home style kitchen with a friendly service. The sopes and tacos are my favorite.

Portions are not as good as alberts that just opened up on the corner. The meat quality is not as good.

found this place right by melrose and western after our car wash and was just craving for some Al Pastor and here we are trying out tacos and quesadillas from their menu. interestingly, Manuel, the guy served us has been working at this place for 25 years as an all around staff from prepping and cooking the meat, cashier and server. he was so kind to give us samples of some of their dishes like roasted chicken, coleslaw and potato salad. I wish I could order more like the roasted chicken bc it was very tasty but I was too full from al

This place is really great. The food was so good, extremely cheap, and the spicy salsa was actually very spicy! The owner is so nice too! This will be a regular place for sure. They also take credit cards.

Hi I’m going to write a review about these place because the food here is so good. I have been coming here for the last 20 years. I recommended their Tortas. Carne asada, light mayo, small pieces of American cheese and avocado. I really want these place to thrive because I love the food here.

Manuel is the best ever! Great food awesome service will defiantly be back! We ordered burritos, menudo and rice and beans. We left with out the beans and rice and Manuel kindly stopped us to come back to get them, and to top it off he gave them to us no charge because he had forgotten them in the order. So nice to have such great service and the food is traditional and more then delicious

The food was delicious and the owner was very friendly. The hot sauce has a good flavor and the tortillas were fresh. Star taken off for the décor.

Burritos are solid, well priced, and pretty decent size. They hit all the necessary marks of an adequate SoCal burrito. They can make that son of a gun spicy too if you want it!!! And I sure did want it.
Warning: do not order the nacho… wow…nacho cheese (no real cheese really?)…and seasoned chips? It was like gooey plastic dumped on a knock-​off powdered dorito? Fail. Cost cutting disaster.

We were in the area and saw this place, after reading some decent reviews on Unilocal,we gave this place a try.
The taquitos were burned, rice was heated up in the microwave and the veggie quesadilla got very little veggies.
We only took a few bites and could not deal with it anymore.

Yep, the food is still good no complaints here. I will this tho, if you been craving some and you call to see if there open don’t assume his closed because he didn’t answer the phone. You have a good 50% chance he’s open just busy so swing by. It Will be worth it.

Fast. Friendly. F@&$‘in good. Ordered the Burrito Mojado carnitas (Wet burrito), 2 tacos asada, and 2 tacos al pastor. So good. Their hot sauce was actually hot (as advertised). The burrito was full of meat, lettuce, cilantro, refried beans and onions, and surrounded with chips, sauce, and gooey cheese. No rice or whole beans shenanigans here.
The man at the counter was so nice and attentive. Parking is not the best, but there are meters on Melrose and spots on Manhattan Pl. They also usually take credit cards, but their machine was down when we went.
Until we found Guadalupe’s, Cactus had usually been our local go-​to spot for Mexican, but we’ve found another option when we’re craving juicy burritos the size of pillows, as well as tasty, affordable tacos!
