Gomez Family Child Care

My son started day care here when he was just over 3 months old. Estella calls him «mi amore» and takes such good care of him while I’m at work. She helped him acclimate to bottle feeding and is comfortable and well versed in infant care, including handling breast milk. We are using a compostable diaper service and Estella returns his used diapers to us (in a reusable bag) so we can compost them. I’m thrilled my son is hearing Spanish all day and I feel very lucky to have found Gomez Family Child Care! I know my son is safe and loved with Estella.
Price is very reasonable, payment is due Mondays — either at the beginning of the month or every two weeks.

My daughter went here from age 2 — 4, and we absolutely loved this hidden gem. I wasn’t ready to put her in an official daycare/​pre-​school, and wanted that home environment for her. Estella and her daughter Kathy are the caretakers, and they were amazing with the kids. I watched them step in to resolve conflicts (peacefully), involve the kids imaginative activities that strengthened their senses of self, and teach them letters and numbers in fun ways. There were always creative art projects that came home with her. The facility itself may not be as polished as some other day cares, but we were so glad we signed up with them. When she left, they even made her a fantastic card that truly showed how much they cared and paid attention to her. Thanks so much for being so wonderful, Estella and Kathy!
