Great local pizza spot! I would recommend the pepperoni pizza it’s perfect for 3 – 4 people.

Had a craving for Italian on the way home from Venice you pick your toppings and they heat it in the oven!

Love the pizza here. Great lunch special. Outstanding New York style pizza. I remember when this place was Johnny’s pizza which unfortunately shut down. Thankfully someone new took the reigns and brought great non-​chain pizza back to the neighborhood.

Possibly the thinnest, best executed crust I have experienced in a a lice-​to-​go pizza. Great taste.
Just randomly stopped in in a grab-​something-​real-​quick on the way to a job.

The chicken parmesan was actually pretty decent until it met the sauce associated with the pasta. There is a an entrée and sandwich choice on the chicken parm and perhaps a better review if I want the sandwich route. I had a sampling of someone else’s pasta and was equally unimpressed with that sauce.

I had the Philly Cheese Steak and the bread was warm and toasty. It also had a fresh crunch as the steak, bell peppers, and cheese all blended together to make a delicious lunch

Passionate cook = GOOD FOOD.
The cooks at this spot have pride in what they put out. The new management defiNitely made sure to hire chefs that love to cook.

The pizzas are crispy, cheesy, and really authentic NY style… BOMB.

Moved to L. A a few years back from NYC and saw this place go up and through alot of owners… the original Johnnies was very good… then it became Godfathers and went through a few different cooks and managers… they messed it up for like 4 yrs… now the new cooks and managers are on point, their pizza is unique and delicious, the pastas are flavorful and reminiscence of a homecooked meal, they have a small afordable menu and good service… i eat here twice a weerk regularly… should seriously be given a try by all.

Godfather’s is right around the corner from my apartment so I figured I had to try it! First time I came with my roommate and got a Philly Cheesesteak-​style sandwich and it was not very good… a 2-​star style sandwich. Not awful, but not great either. I came to Unilocal ready to post a review when I saw so many positive reviews for the pizza.
So I gave Godfather’s a second chance, but after having the pepperoni pizza I’m still left desiring more from this location. The pizza was standard. It was nothing spectacular, it was just a middle-​of-​the-​pack kind of pizza.
The service is always very good and the employees are very nice, but I just haven’t been impressed with the quality of food. It’s affordable and the establishment has great service, but just as a 3-​star review on Unilocal says: This place is «A-​OK»

Food is Amazing!!! Read the previous review and the main complain seem to be about delivery which was by the way made via a third party!
Anyway the food is fresh and delicious!!! I had the Philly cheese steak and Alfredo chicken pasta… I will definitely come back!

I eat here all the time and I’m very happy with the food and service. Authentic NY style pizza at an affordable price. Staff is friendly and the food is great! What more can I say :) happy customer…

Greeted with a warm welcome and offered lunch specials without having to ask! Cashier was very kind. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is nice. Definitely a go to place!

Ordered off GrubHub, delivery was late, i got the wrong item worth less and when i called them the girl swore i ordered wrong and was only charged for what i got which wasnt the case on my receipt (the delivery boy seemed intoxicated. Called GrubHub customer service who called the restaurant which still refused my refund despite having proof of my order number. graciously GH gave me free meals. the quality of food was poor at that, cold, and seemed thrown together.
overall, DONT ORDER HERE. not worth the effort.

New management this past year has the chance to only increase the ratings. Can’t say what it looked like before, but what I see is a a little place of 9 tables, marble tops and nice chairs, simple but nicely framed mirrors and art on the walls, and a high bookshelf with Italian grotto on it: garlic and olive oil et’al. No TV’s for a change.
Service was very nice by a pretty young girl. What can be finer that that?
I ordered a large veggie pizza with pepperoni. Spinach, broccoli, wild mushrooms, tomato, bell pepper, artichokes, and red onion. NY style crust «as advertised», not so much. It’s thicker and a bigger crust, but very good. In fact, best for the area.
I will return, but I have a suggestion: make the pizzas bigger, or have an option for XL. By the piece, it’s sold, but not for sale as a whole. The small is 12″, and the large is 14″. 2″ inches is not a whole lot of difference. HINT: Americans like BIG.

I love that they offer lunch deals. I come in on my way to work and grab two pepperoni slices and a drink and it’s usually quick service. I noticed they added new lunch special items so I’ll be trying the cheese steal sandwich deal next. The girl taking my order is friendly. The garlic knots are good and I noticed they changed the marinara sauce. Before it was too sweet but now it’s perfection ~
I’ve come in so much i noticed a lot of changes. New menu, new staff, new recipes seems they are making a real effort I’ll be back with friends :)

I have been going to this spot for a good year or so and in that time I noticed a major shift. They changed the menu and a lot of the ingredients and new staff. The restaurant looks clean and has a display of pizza. I love getting the 2 slice and a drink lunch deal. They just added a buffalo wing deal with fries and a drink I’m probably gunna get that next time. It takes a bit of time to cook sometimes but definitely it’s worth the wait. Usually it’s not too busy so you get served right away. The food looks delicious !

Quick stop at the UPS store & saw this place so I decided to give it a try. There were no customers inside so, service was kinda fast. Was in and out in about 10 min (maybe less). I ordered a slice of cheese to go and the young lady at the register was nice. Also, the place looked clean.
Pizza was just ok (Nothing I’ll be running back for anytime soon) It was a little bland could of used more sauce/​spices. I ended up paying $ 3 so that wasn’t bad.

The Godfather special is one of the best meat lovers pizza I’ve had so far!
Last time i came the service wasn’t that great and the food took a really long time to come out. I decided to give Godfathers another chance after hearing that it was under new management, and the kitchen was under the command of a new chef.
I’m glad I decided to give this place another chance. Definitely coming back here again.

The new chef has some fresh new ideas, really good slices, best philly steaks around, and the pizza prices are awesome. Great n. y style pizzeria… Not really a restaurant… A must try

Pretty good pizza.
The man who took my order didn’t seem like he knew how to use the POS system very well but he was very nice.
I got the godfather pizza which comes with pepperoni, sausage, onion, green peppers, and mushroom. I thought it said «caramelized onion» on the menu but it was regular onions on the pizza. Pizza was ready in about 15 minutes.
