Pop, Pete, and James were so awesome I don’t have sufficient words to say how awesome they were. Super friendly. Very helpful. Gave me a great tree at a great price. Thanks to James for tying it down to my car with a friendly /helpful attitude. These guys are full of the holiday spirit. Check ‘em out! Cheers!

If this is the Christmas tree lot that is at the Vons parking lot near Virgil and Sunset save your time and precious money and go elsewhere! Geez louise! This place is one of theeee most expensive, if not only, Christmas tree lot that I have ever been to or heard of. One of the guys working there approached me and asked what kind of tree I’m looking for. I live in an apartment so I don’t need a huge tree. I wanted a flocked tree about 4−5ft tall. As I show him the particular tree I wanted he tells me it starts at $ 65 plus an additional $ 10 per foot for colored flocked trees and $ 5 per foot for white flocked trees. Then he proceeds to say if I go to the«man sittin’ over there in the overalls» he may be able to get me out for $ 90, «since it’s so close to the holidays already.» I’m sorry… what? $ 90 for a 4ft maaaaybe 5ft tree? Seriously? In all my years of buying Christmas trees I have never heard of a 4ft tree costing $ 90! And what is this lame ass sales tactic you’re trying to use by telling me to go to the man in overalls as if he’s Santa or something. More like a crook in a Santa suit. Sheesh! No, thank you! Please, people, just look around a bit more before you go splurging on Christmas trees from this place. I ended up going to Lopez Ranch Pumpkin Patch & Christmas trees on Beverly Blvd between Hobart & Serrano. And I got what I was looking for(colored flock, not white) for $ 60& a free mistletoe~

I wanted a flocked tree for 1999 prices. I wasn’t prepared for the current prices. These guys let me make a deal and I got to walk away with the tree I wanted. It was all flocked up! ;-) The fact that they’re outgoing, friendly, happy people made the whole experience so much better.

Great selection of fresh cut trees, friendly staff. My tree smells so good. For the last 3 years have purchased our Christmas tree in that Vons parking lot. Pete gives me the best deal.

Nice selection. Friendly service. Quick and reasonably priced(I think lol). Went with a 6ft Douglas Fir for the $ 25 Unilocal price. Regular price is $ 6/foot. Stand and water bowl is an extra $ 15. So after tax and 15% tip(please tip these guys for doing all the work of carrying it and strapping it on the car) it was around $ 46 – 49

We were looking around Unilocal for Christmas tree lots and frosty’s popped up first. We called and they gave a good price over the phone so we decided to drive over, we live in Panorama city, we wanted a flocked tree, they said no problem but that we had to come back next day and we couldn’t, so Pete gave us an extremely wonderful price on a gorgeous 7 inch flocked tree. Thank you frostys! And Pete for our beautiful tree.

They were initially confused by and then tried to ignore the Unilocal check-in discount. When I mentioned it again, they suddenly added $ 15 to the price of the tree, for the cheap wooden stand and water dish. I could have gotten a nicer one for $ 10 at target. After adding the extra $ 15, they still tried to ignore the $ 5 off deal from Unilocal.«You owe me $ 5,» the guy said. When I finally told them I wasn’t pay the extra $ 5, they refused to wrap up the tree and then rushed the guy who was helping us tie it on top of the car. The next day I noticed that trees were cheaper and better looking at Armstrong and Whole Foods… CHEAPERATWHOLEFOODS?! You have to be kidding me.

Not a great selection. The Douglas fir promotion was worthless because they looked horrible. Noble firs are all $ 10 a foot and all were almost all over 7 feet tall. Trees look shabby, not very full. Really disappointed.

Just. Terrible. They tacked on a bunch of extra charges at every turn — but weren’t up front about it. The gentleman who tied the tree up was very polite… I was just so angry because it was already tied up before I had a chance to fight the extra charges. Never going back.

Extremely friendly and kind family owned business. Me and my girlfriend picked up a beautiful, lush green 5′ tree yesterday. Very generous people. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quality tree.

Best Christmas trees and service in Los Angeles!!! These guys are the most pleasant guys to do business with! Tree selection is great! Services are amazing! They flock in any color and add glitter too, if you want it. The guys are also wonderful with kids! And they remember their customers! They deliver, too! Every year, we just go to frosty’s for our tree. No need to shop around. They have the best for the best price!

Loved the service, beautiful tree! I came in and immediately I was greeted by 3 or 4 lovely young gentlemen. They all were polite and had great customer service. I wondered around until I finally found a tree I felt could give me the best Christmas possible. Once I had found the perfect tree possible, an 8 foot flocked tree. They gave me a great price, with my 15% off for checking in on Unilocal. Then they proceeded to bag the tree up for me to keep flock from falling off while riding right before they tied the tree on pretty fast. At the end of the day, I got a great tree for a great price, enjoyed some jokes told by the staff working the lot and look forward to coming back for more years to come. Get trees from frosty’s tree lot! They’re awesome! Also make sure you check in on Unilocal to get the same 15% off just like I did! Merry Christmas!

Coming to frostys tree’s is a pleasant experience, the trees are fresh, the customer service was excellent and they tie the tree’s on the car for you. They also offer wide variety of tree’s and wider variety of colors. Check out Frostys on the corner of Sunset and Virgil, in the Vons market parking lot, next to children’s hospital .

NOREASON *TO* GOHERE when there are plenty of places that aren’t creepy scams. My roommate went here last night to grab a tree. Ernest(who later called himself Pete?) came to help her out — first of all total creep on her telling her how beautiful her eyes are. Its like listen buddy I’m a chick here for a tree I don’t need you trying to pick me up. He said $ 10 a ft for a nobel fir and $ 6 a ft for a Douglas fir. She wanted a 7ft douglas fir — should be around $ 70. Ernest(still Ernest at this point) brings around some $ 130 tree ain’t nobody got time for. She was like wtf is this? Not what I wanted. He starts haggling down the price. Still not what she wanted — try listening to a woman once in awhile and maybe you won’t have to pick up on Christmas tree lot shoppers. — He also asked for her number so he can call her later about trees… she made it clear she wanted one tonight which surprised him. Who the hell is window shopping for trees? Finally brings the tree she wants only a ft taller and says he can get her out of here for $ 90 because its goes up in price per ft after 6 ft(um no it doesn’t buddy — uncle owned a christmas tree lot) but that INCLUDESTHETHESTAND. The«boss» as Ernest calls him says its only $ 70 but Ernest talks over him and says OHBUTWECANGETHEROUTOFHEREFOR $ 90. Ok whatever — she wants out at this point. The guys start loading it on her car so she gets money to tip them — Ernest grabs it and says oh great money for tax(umm what the fuuu is going on here) Ernest also takes the stand off the tree with a «oh you probably have one at home and don’t need this one!» WAITWHAT — that was included in your outrageous price? He then says«If you have any problems my names PETE» WHAAT?! Then que some lame ass rendition of the tale of two names.
