My boyfriend and I did a full session(6 weeks) with them. I was hesitant to start a «boot camp» program. For 3 main reasons, one of which was fitness level, second was I didn’t want to be yelled at so early in the morning and third was I didn’t want to loose weight by loosing an arm or a leg as payment. I found out none of the above was a problem. They cater to any ability, gently pushing you to YOUR personal«limit» without being harsh or rude and they are very reasonably priced. There are 3 instructors all with their own style of whipping you into shape. I found them easy to talk to and willing to give advice.

I’m about as thrilled with this program as one can possibly be when said program requires them to rise pre-dawn in order to get fit. I’ve been attending this boot camp on and off since 2005. The folks who run the boot camp are awesome people. They give you help and advice, and have been known to let friends of mine pay half up front and half later when they were short on cash. Just super-duper folks. This is an average day. *Boot camp starts at 5:30am and is one hour long *We meet outdoors in Sunland near the park. *We bring an exercise mat, weights(5 – 10 lbs), water and some people bring weight lifting gloves *We stretch *We run about 1 or 2 miles depending on the day.(There are people of varying abilities. Some walking, some jogging, some running.) *We do mat exercises(Crunches, planks, push-ups, etc) *We usually focus either on upper or lower body so some days we use light weights, and other days we do lunges, squats, step-ups, etc. *After a round of mat exercises and upper or lower body exercises we do another bout of cardio. Usually a short run down the block and back. *We do more mat exercises and other exercises * We do another cardio bout * Depending on time, we may do one more round or exercises and cardio. *We stretch and leave. Some days are different. Occasionally we do circuit training or they set up an obstacle course, but this is an average day. It’s easier in the summer than the winter due to weather reasons and it always sucks to get up in the dark and travel here but I feel amazing once I’m done and my butt and thighs thank me… plus its the only way I can justify eating so much… and I love food to much to eat less.
