Worst apartment I’ve ever lived in. Besides the issues with the apartment itself(and there were many… leaking roof when it rains, unlockable/broken screen door to the balcony, completely malfunctioning oven and trash compactor, leaking sinks…), the main issues I have are with the security of the building. The building«manager» thinks nothing of main doors to the building being unlocked for weeks at a time, giving access to anyone who wants to walk in off the street. I personally have come across homeless people in the stairwells. Plus the elevator is broken more often than not. Don’t be fooled by the website’s «beautiful views» of Hollywood either. Shortly after we moved in the rooftop was padlocked and the door has an alarm(that will go off at random times during the day or night) so we have no access to those so-called ‘beautiful views’. Management is difficult at best to get anything done repairs-wise. There is one repair guy who will maybe try to fix any and all things and will simply walk into your apartment at all hours of the day(8, 9pm is not uncommon) after repeated requests to get something fixed. Oh, and be sure not to request any kind of repairs done to your apartment once your year-long lease is up and you’re on month-to-month, because they’ll simply serve you a 60 day notice to get out. But hey! They drop off chocolate bars at Christmas! Do NOT rent here.

Pretty much the worst place to live. I have moved a lot in lived in about six-ten different places, and this place is by far the worst. I have only lived here 6 months and 1) our balcony door was broken and not fixed for weeks, meaning it was left unable to close and lock 2) the pipe under the kitchen sink burst causing flooding 3) both bathrooms had shower pressure problems 4) the oven does not work, it burns EVERYTHING — still has not been fixed– apparently it is the gas companies problem 5) the hallways are not taken care of– there was a giant spider web in mine for months. They finally noticed. Other floors have scuffs on the walls, mismatched paint, etc. 6) there is a great roof but no one is permitted to go on it 7) the property managers are extremely unresponsive and clearly do not know how to manage a property. Most maintenance requests had to be entered multiple times. 8) we also had a similar issue as the last person who reviewed on here where the water bill was miscalculated and then they just avoid you instead of handling it 9) you can hear EVERYONE. Even with all of my windows and doors closed, I can hear all of my neighbors, people talking in the courtyard or in the halls. People blast their tvs as well and no one stops them. 10). The elevator BREAKS at least once a week and remains unfixed for a few hours up to several days. If it is over the weekend, do not expect it to get fixed. The inspection inside of the elevator is dated for over two years ago. 11) the stairwell leading to the parking garage is FILTHY. It is dirty, and has old clothes, and pillows on the stairs as well as storage items like furniture at the bottom of the stairwell. The entire property has random areas of «storage» it’s like living on an episode of hoarders. Everything that needs to be fixed will be half-assed taped or glued back together. They refuse to truly replace anything or spend any money. The maintenance man works other properties and will show up anytime as late as 9PM. The owners and management are the issue. This property is NOT taken care of and your maintenance will be ignored for as long as possible.

I wish I could give this place no stars. This place is terrible. The master bathroom in our apartment somehow connected to the washer and drier directly above us, so if someone did a load of laundry, every so often our toilet would overflow with suds, leaving us to clean up our bathroom, not to mention the time a pipe blow us back up and actually flooded our entire bedroom with an inch of water. There were roaches we found for a few months, we were able to get rid of them but it was still disgusting, and however she does the water bill is bullshit, we would have months were our bill was much more than any two(even three) people could ever use. Pat the manager is a sweet enough lady, but she does not do her job well. She always took forever to get back to us, and once we were almost up with our lease and looking to move out she started bringing people by the view our apartment, which would have been managable if she had given us any warning beforehand. She called maybe the first time and after that would just show up at random times of the day, and at odd hour too, in the later evening. Then once we did move out she used up most of our deposit despite us leaving the place nearly untouched(and good enough for her to tour without warning us all those times). Would not recommend this place at all, I would rather live in a motel than here.
