I was searching for some rustic wood décor to go with my recently built patio. I found Evans Family Barrels on Craigslist. I was blown away with the beautiful creations that Mike makes out of these barrels. I fell in love with the look immediately. I met with Mike and Carole at their home and they were a blast! I ordered one barrel ice chest, one standing ice cooler and four half barrel planters with the specific stain and hardware that I desired. They had them done quicker than I expected. I just had my first big outdoor party and my Evans Barrels were the talk of the party! Mike and Carole, keep doing what you love, because we love it too!

I needed another half oak wine barrel for my herbs and Evan had a great selection. Location is at his home and barrels are in his backyard. He helped me load it into my car. I paid 75 plus tax and an additional 11 for a small wheel dolly.

I have my daughters wedding coming up in weeks and needed a wine barrel to hold the wedding cake as well as a half barrel drink cooler. Well, I have been a «barrel collector» for years and from lots of different sources. To find this wonderful endearing family was like coming home to my own family. Their work is superb, their collection amazing and the education I got in all of 30 minutes was outstanding from Mike. I felt as if I was in wine school!

I’m so glad to have found a source for wine barrels in Los Angeles. The price was the lowest I found online and I didn’t have to drive to the Inland Empire or San Diego for them. Mike & Shawnn were a pleasure to deal with, and they even arranged to deliver the barrels to us. I purchased the barrels, but they also rent them. Great find!

I had the idea of building a coffee table using a wine barrel and after doing some research I came across Evans Family Barrels. I needed a wine barrel cut perfectly in half length wise and after explaining this to Mike he knew exactly what I was after. When I picked up the barrel I was blown away by the quality. The finish and metal hoops he added to the outside made the barrel look amazing.
This is a family owned business and run out of Mike and Carole’s home. I met both of them when I picked up my barrel and they were such nice people and answered all of my questions. The work they do is amazing and if you need anything custom I am sure they can do it as they did for me.
