Ethical Drug

They told my mom that the lottery ticket she wanted to check on their machine didn’t have a replay but it did, even though she won a dollar the lady cashier said it’s not a winner? They keep telling my mom and dad that it’s ok, it’s ok? What the hell is that mean? ! Imagine they won a bigger amount?

I only come here because its convenient to me besides that theyre pretty rude
and if you arent asian they could careless about you our your business.

Reasonable prescription prices, and a varied selection of medium sized statues for sale. I’ve been getting my prescriptions here since i was a kid. ;D memmories.

In the neighborhood, convenient, and very friendly. There may be a slight language barrier, but the staff tries hard to please. A rather ecclectic display of the useful and the bizarre in the gift section.

I always get a good chuckle from the name «Ethical Drug.» Are they concerned that some junkie may get confused and try to purchase some crack from them? «Sorry, sir, prescription medication only.»
Anyway, this is an independent drugstore located on the corner of Beverly and Western just outside of Koreatown. It’s been around FOREVER, as long as I can remember. So I know it’s been at this location for at least 30+ years. Good alternative to the big pharmacies if you want to avoid a big wait for your prescription. The inside doesn’t seem very well lit and the rest of the store doesn’t really have too much to offer. They sell a hodgepodge of different items, which I thought were cool when I was growing up (ex: baseball cards, gum, candy, etc.) but I doubt there’s anything I would buy now. Last time I checked, there was also a whole counter devoted to make-​up. I obviously have no idea whether any of the selection is any good.
There is parking in the lot behind the store, which is shared with some other businesses including the Piper’s Restaurant, or you may be able to find free curb parking along Oxford, the small street just east of Western.
