Saw the reviews and gave it a try. Very good chix tacos and asada sopes. Chatted with the owner and he clarified that the food is Mexican, not El Salvadorean, but the food’s very good regardless of national origin! Good prices as well.

Best tamales I have ever tasted. Period. The owner is ways really nice and friendly too. It’s a MUST go if you’re in the area.

This place is down the street from my house. My parents & I love the Mexican food. The food is actually Mexican not like other restaurants that are more American taste but call it «Mexican». You have to try the chorizo it’s delicious! My parents usually order the menudo which is known to be good for hangovers. Enough said if you’re in the neighborhood make sure to try real Mexican food. *This place is cash only

I ordered a Mulitas to go and was very impressed when I got home. It’s kind of like a mini quesadilla and you can choose between beef, chorizo or chicken for $ 2.75. They also include a fresh mini salad with tomato and avocado! Quality and quantity for under $ 3.

This place is about a block away from my house. Food here is fucking delicious. You get a FAT burrito, with all the trimmings (including sour cream!), with french fries for $ 5. $ 5. Five bucks!

Walking into this little hole in the wall, it’s not very impressive. It’s more of a take to go rather than an eat in kind of place. Nevertheless, I did not go to El Milagro for the scenery, I went for the food. The food is amazing; its full of flavor and texture.
It was my first time at eating el salvadorian food, so I didn’t know what to order on the menu. I went with what I was familiar with, tacos. I ordered 3 tacos, 2 chicken and one beef. I was expecting the stereotypical taco, but instead I got a nice surpirse. I would definitely go back, and I will venture into trying something different and new!
