This place was a favorite. Nice owners. Nice vibe. Amazing place. Not a bad thing to say about it.

I love this venue! It’s very unique and interesting. I came for a concert a few weeks ago and had a great time. Firstly the price was very fair, and there is lots of free parking nearby. When you walk in it feels like you’re in someone’s basement or living room, there are couches, carpets and a small stage. Next to the stage there are some stairs, if you follow it up you will enter a kitchen like area where you can by drinks and they put out free snacks. just beyond that is a little hallway that leads to a rooftop. On the rooftop there is an old van decked out with tapestries and christmas lights inside, a disco ball hangs from above on the other side of the porch and there are places for small groups of people to sit and hang out. I really hope this place puts on more concerts in the future as I’d love to see some more shows here. I did have a hard time finding the place as I’m not super familiar with that part of Echo Park and from the outside it’s a little unassuming(there is a large sign on the venue, it’s just not lit up so it took me a few times of driving by to find it).

My friends threw a huge Christmas music festival this past weekend after a previous venue withdrew their offer last minute. Needless to say we were all nervous about how things were going to go down. Echo Country Outpost is not only run by very friendly and hospitable people, but the venue itself is awesome! There’s a fairly large room as you enter with comfy couches and a small stage that provides an intimate show. It’s not the Fonda or Palladium or anything, but the sound quality was great for a venue of this size. Walk up the stairs through the kitchen and you’ll find yourself in an outdoor stage area with equal amount of space as the downstairs area. Perfect! All of our friends commented on how charming and awesome the venue was! My only gripe is that there is one public restroom(and one private for the bands), so the wait got pretty long as the place got filled. Still, we all had such a blast here. I hope we can do this again!

Chris and Erica are two of the nicest people. They have created a store and gathering space that they are passionate about. Unlike most LA «scenes» the ECO is welcoming to all. I’ve never had a bad experience. Moreover, the items they sell and display are really cool. Some have great stories as well. If you’re into embracing the fringe and compelling, shop here. Hang here too. You might just fall in love.

For those of us living in the city and want to channel our inner woodsman, this cabin-like boutique offers an assortment of fine leather moccasins, incense, pine cones, and a collection of hand made objects from around the world. One visit here and you’ll suddenly forget all about traffic jams and poor air quality.

Came here for a National Lawyer’s Guild happy hour — the place was funky, couldn’t really see the art on the walls because there were too many people, but it was really nice of the owners to open up the space for a community gathering…
