DGM Barbershop

DGM is a mans barbershop,
But feel welcomed to bring women and children. They’ll cut anyone. I was recommended by a buddy of mine and I haven’t gone anywhere else and Bicho has been my barber since. The other barbers get down as well so don’t feel that one is better than the other, Yayo get down too. Even though they accept some walk-​ins, they are mainly by appointment only. Whether you want a regular old man haircut, a sick fade, or a custom cut with a design (if your into that) they will take care of you. Stop by and tell them Rojo sent you. Five stars all around, straight up shop by straight up guys. Bicho and yayo always have music playing so when your done with your haircut feel free and challenge Bicho to a dance off!!!

Decided to take a chance on this place after looking over the reviews and checking out the pictures of their work. I recently had a mohawk fade done poorly at another shop and wanted to get it fixed. Made a Saturday appointment at 9:00am with Bicho. I got there about 15 minutes early and the first barber asked me who I was there to see. I told him Bicho and he said that he was on the way. I took a seat on one of the couches and waited. There were two barbers there but they had clients. Bicho (or at least who I thought was him) walked in and said good morning to the other barbers and clients, not making eye contact with me at all. He did not even introduce himself. He starts talking to the other barbers and taking two pairs of clippers apart, still not introducing himself. He continues working on the clippers for about 10 minutes, the whole time with his back to me, and starts talking about the Game and Stitches beef. Really? So finally, its about 9:30am and after not being looked at by my so called barber, or acknowledged, I decided to leave. He texts me and said he knows what the misunderstanding was and that he wanted to apologize. What misunderstanding? That I was sitting right there and you did not identify yourself as my barber or say, thank you for patiently waiting, I will be with you in a minute? I had never been there before so I am a new client. No, you were rude. I was so looking forward to getting my hair cut here. He offered for me to come back at 2:00pm for a free cut, but I chose not to. You get one chance to make a good first impression, and unfortunately my experience left a bad taste. There are too many other barber shops in LA that can respect a new client and cultivate that relationship. Just wanted a good cut at the time promised.

Scheduled an appointment for 9am Friday. I showed up and Bicho was ready to get busy. Explained to him what I wanted and he got right to it. Very professional yet comfortable experience. I could tell he was serious about his craft. I got a bald fade with faded beard work. I’ll definitely be back. Overall cool spot.

The barber don’t value your time makes appt. Then cancel to a later time 3 hours later won’t go back. Bad Bad Business.

My guy Josue hooked me up with a crispy Bald Taper Fade. Very skilled barbers here. This place is a must if u need a cut.

I’ve been looking for a new shop in LA for a few months now, so I dropped in for the first time today after finding it online, and was extremely satisfied with the level of professionalism and most importantly my hair cut. I finally found my new barbershop in the city. A big thank you and shout out to Josue! He definitely took his time cutting my hair and lining up my beard. Most definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for quality. #stayfresh

1 year as a committed client to DGM. Why go elsewhere when you have some of the best barbers in LA minutes away from the USC campus??? Hands down the best service I have been blessed with when getting a cut. Do not hesitate to pick up your phone and book your first appt. You shall not regret it.

Friendly and efficient. Josue and A-​oh will leave you looking like a star. They will take their time with you and wont rush to the next customer. They make you feel like your business matters. Great prices and amazing service.
