It’s not as large of a Skyclub as JFK, but then again, LAX isn’t a major hub for Delta. They do have a very nice club with an open layout. Plenty of seats with power for electronics. They bar has a Luxury Bar as well and serves several craft beers on draft as well as in bottles. They had a nice food offering of hummus, veggies, cubed cheeses, soups, mac & cheese, chopped salads. Very low key background music. TV’s near the bar. I didn’t notice any showers for connecting long distance travelers.

Great lounge. Free wifi and the buffet food choices are very good(dinner time). Choice of 2 soups and then a range of cold salad times from pasta to chicken & broccoli. Pana cotta dessert to wrap things up if you fancy. Idea if you are on a red eye such as we are, so you can focus on the zzzzs on the plane. Free wine & beer too & not the cheap stuff. I think the champers should be free too as they only serve cava on the flight which is naff. Staff were helpful and friendly and the loos were clean! Thumbs up Delta!

I am so happy they have renovated this lounge. I visited the lounge en route to Guatemala last year and it was disappointing. I felt that it was dirty and just not comfortable. This renovated lounge is a world away from my last visit. Very clean, super comfy seats, lots of snacks to nibble on and complimentary drinks. If you want to go higher end on the drinks, you have to pay but the prices were reasonable.

This is a nice Sky Club in LAX. Even though LAX is such a busy airport, it seems as though this Sky Club is never too crowded. It is conveniently located and has a good selection of refreshments. Most of the food is similar to the other Sky Clubs but this one has a few nicer selections.

I’d like to know which sky clubs everyone reviewing this place as average goes to because this is by far the nicest I’ve seen. So beautiful!

Let’s start her off with: if you walk in and don’t look like you have a tree made of synchronize swimming, Popsicles made of trees of money growing not so secretly out your ass, they’re going to immediately treat you like shit. However, when you flash that Gold Medallion, First Class, Sky Priority, that’s What Up Status, like a miracle, Boo at the concierge will roll out a red carpet and all your ugly coach scars will disappear. So once you surpass the snotty, snooty, prejudices of people with less than you who think they’re the shit because they work in a first class lounge at an airport, you will be provided with unlimited free house wine and brew. Aiight– true. There’s an assortment of food: crackers, hummus, cheeses, soup, etc and what not. Ya know– food you want but don’t but will eat and like. Coffee, whateva, whateva. Be nice to the staff and they’ll hook you up. Don’t be rude, that’s lame. After all, you’re nothing special… you probably just have a lot of sky miles from your company card or a Platinum Amex, which also can get you in. In addition, TV Screens playing crappy football for d00dz and women who pretend to like sports to appeal to these d00dz are strewn about along with as many plugs as your little chargers could desire. This lounge doesn’t have showers but the restrooms are nice and clean. 3 Stars for being bitchy then nice when y’all saw my mileage and Gold Stat. 3 stars also for not letting me in 2 weeks before because there was an error with the Gold when I only fly Delta and you can clearly see that. Shamesies. Side Note: If you connect… The ATL Delta lounge has the best food and free massages, but don’t be a lamo and not tip. Dallas is large but nothing special. Okay food but at least it’s something. No food allowed in from outside. The LAX lounge usually has someone famous, albeit D List, washed up comedian(Pauley Shore?), Madison from Million Dollar Listing, or way worse: a Real Housewife. Get it Bae.

Not the greatest SkyClub but far from the worst. It is simply A-OK. I used 60,000 Delta SkyMiles and bought an annual membership, so I stop at the clubs when I can. Nashville, Milwaukee, Fort Lauderdale, Seattle, Orlando, Philadelphia, Atlanta of course. And the Los Angeles club has the same as the others — the same free wifi, the same plentiful power outlets and the same free snacks and drinks. It is a decent place to wait out your connection without all the noise and crowding down by the gates. And they do have a decent view of the ramp area.

I finally took advantage of my Delta Skymiles Amex card on a recent trip to LA to use the Delta Sky Club for the first time. With the Skymiles Amex card, members have a discounted rate of $ 29.00($ 50 if you aren’t a card member). I was waiting for a red eye flight weighing my options. Should I sit in a crowded waiting area for a few hours looking for an open seat, an outlet, and buy dinner on top of that… or shell out the $ 29 to wait in the Sky Club? The $ 29 proved to be worth it. + Enough«appetizers» to satisfy as a meal: Among the offerings were crudités, two soups, mushroom salad, pasta salad, hummus, crackers, cheese, and desserts. There was plentiful options for drinks as well. There is a small automatic Starbucks coffee machine for lattes and espressos, some spa water options(steeped cucumber water), and a pretty good sized bar with some complimentary alcohol options. + Showers and clean bathrooms: I got to take advantage of the shower here, and it was nice. You have to request access to the shower at the front desk. They provide you with soaps and shampoo/conditioner and it reminded me of what you’d receive at a hotel. There was no hair dryer, but overall very clean and well maintained. + Plenty of seating and outlets: There was a wide range of seating ranging from café tables, to business like bar seating along the windows, to reclining chairs, to small chaise seating. It wasn’t hard to find outlets. The lounge was relatively full but at no point did it feel overwhelming or loud. + Pleasant staff: The front desk was extremely courteous and answered all of my questions with a smile. I appreciate that service when traveling is such a stressful time. I’m looking forward to another time where I can take advantage of this benefit again.

LAX is my hub and use Delta monthly. Delta has pumped a bunch of money into terminal 5 and the the Sky club. It is way better that it use to be. A lot more options — eating, seating and drinks. Much improved, more like the club in Detroit now. Only bad thing is, Delta is rumored to be moving to Terminal 2&3 — hope they keep the level of comfort at the new terminal.

Again, Disclaimer: Biased review because entry for us was complimentary and we were on our honeymoon. Another AWESOME SkyClub — well stocked food bar and a couple of bartenders to take drink orders. Food was great for the price(free for us) and the esspresso machine was great for hot chocolate(for me) and lattes(for wife). Well kept, clean and ample space to relax away from the noisy terminals of LAX.

If you ask me, THIS is a top notch lounge! Well done Delta! Like a Hollywood actress, terminal 5 along with the Delta Skylounge, has received a grade A face lift and it hasn’t gone unnoticed. There’s literally everything here! Food, a bar, charging outlets, reading rooms and even showers! Yes, that’s right, I said showers. The food options range from broccoli and carrots to soup, fruit and cookies. They have a full service bar but personally I’m a fan of their snazzy coffee machine that makes lattes. They also have a wide assortment of Harney & Sons teas. The restrooms are very clean and well maintained and while I can’t speak for the showers since I haven’t used them, I think the concept is great for those who are traveling far. The staff is friendly and extremely professional. I was welcomed with a smile and given the wifi password upon my arrival. There’s a spot for everyone here. They literally have all sorts of chairs, stools and tables and the lighting varies from bright to dim to suit everyone’s fancy. It’s a great place to wait for your next flight and avoid the hustle and bustle of LAX.

[insert slow clap here] Well done, Delta. Well done. The improvements made to your lounge and food options are noted. Long gone are the stale crackers and dry celery! Gone are the tepid yogurts and bruised apples! Say goodbye to the sterile walls and torn chairs! LA is known for our plastic surgery, but who doesn’t love a little cosmetic lift?! Kudos.

There’s a lot to like about this club. It has probably the biggest food spread of any SkyClub in the U.S. Now with dinner rolls, two kinds of soup, and a protein salad(recently tuna) it’s possible to actually have a light meal in the club that doesn’t consist of veggie sticks and cheese. The renovations have made the space much more pleasant. I like the new artwork a lot. Also, this club has showers! Front desk staff are great… especially Frances. Two things dock it a star: before big flights it can get crazy crowded, and the bar staff always seem to have a chip on their shoulders.

It’s interesting… Reading some recent past reviews, nothing like my experience. I came to this delta lounge expecting great service and relaxing atmosphere so I can complete some work items and delta does a great job. Tomato bisque, to the spearmint aroma from the hand lotions. Convenience, service, friendliness, clean, different environments, everything I come to expect from delta. Love flying with them.

Wow The renovation looks pretty amazing. Almost looks like a low-end Centurion lounge! Lots of great new food and drink options. Good to see some great investment in the LA market for delta!

Awesome upgrades to the Delta Sky Club. Great new food buffet area, additional seating, and nicely designed reading rooms. As always, the bartenders pour excellent mixed drinks and the Luxury Bar is sure to offer anyone something of interest, if the complimentary offerings don’t suffice. The new spicy Thai chicken and rice soup is especially tasty, and the house Sauvignon Blanc is a great addition to the standard Chardonnay-only offerings. nicely done, Delta!

Another Delta Sky Club in the books, and this one was as average as you can get. Average food, average drinks, average cleanliness and average comfort(furniture-wise). The one silver lining is they keep the bathroom very clean(unlike the sitting area). Best to avoid this place when it’s crowded, but when it’s quiet(really early or late at night), you overlook the average-ness and will be able to sit back and relax.

When I first started coming to this club, I was struck by how small and dated it was. For a major airport like LAX, I anticipated a much nicer lounge. Well, after recently completing a major renovation, the lounge is more up to par with others across the country. There’s no sky deck or cozy fireplace but the seating is sleek and modern, the lighting and furnishings are bright, the food layout is much better, and the formerly cramped quarters are a thing of the past. The food is well stocked and while a little variety in the offerings would certainly be a nice change, I can usually find enough to eat. The staff is always so welcoming and with the new look, the lounge is as well.

Chillin at Delta Sky Club. It may be the only good thing about LAX. The airport is nuts and I think is rated by some one of the worst airports in the nation. Delta Sky Club gives you a little break from the rest of the terminal. It is comfortable, quite and an oasis. I only look forward to escaping to this little slice of normalcy in this crazy airport.
