David coached our daughter in basic vocal skills. During his time with her, her breathing, range, and technique improved dramatically. He also assisted in recording an audition cd for the ACDA National Children’s Choir, to which she was accepted. She continued singing through middle and high school and eventually got to go on a singing tour in France, including a performance at Notre Dame Cathedral! David is the best. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top vocal coach!

David is such a great instructor. He is clear and concise in his direction. I had taken vocal lessons with him because I was looking for someone with musical theatre experience with belting, and found the right teacher! I have learned new techniques from David that have made breath support easier and more powerful. Take a lesson with David, you will thank yourself!

David is the best voice teacher I have ever had hands down.
In less then a year I have gone from sounding like I’m straining ever muscle in my body and several in those around me to reach an out of tune note, to being so happy with my voice that I’m am no longer searching for a singer in my band. Davids knowledge of the voice and how it works on a biological and psychological level is so in depth that he can take every case separately and find out what exactly will help you specially improve.
His friendly nature makes you feel right at home from day one, and theres absolutely not pressure when your around him. Since David doubles as an acting coach he can really help you find the intention behind what your singing to help give you the artist «feeling» when you sing.
if your an artist wanting to improve as a singer, or you just want to start singing for the fun of it. David will meet you at your level and you will definitely see some huge improvements.

David is truly a great teacher.
I bought a hour hour lesson from a deal-​of-​the-​day site and wasn’t sure what to expect.
Upon first going into the lesson he explained clearly what the goals of the lesson were. He was very thorough, but at the same time very welcoming. It’s kind of like learning something from a friend, where you don’t feel the pressure of having to perform or act a certain way.
He gave me a few exercises where I sang from different scales and notes that he played on the piano, and from there he was able to note where my trouble areas were and from there we worked on teaching me exercises and the theory behind what I needed to change to get better.
Overall, I’m sure if I were to continue lessons with David, I would definitely get better.
I highly recommend David if you want to get better at singing.

David has a great ability to discern subtleties in a voice and bring out the best in the voice. An excellent instructor!
