Darling Cleaners

This place is horrible! I am the type of person that never writes reviews but I got such terrible service that I felt compelled to write one. I took in some Jean pants to get hemmed. I noticed that the Asian lady did not appear to have measured correctly and only placed one safety pin to hold the pants in place. Usually they will place a few of those things but she said it wasn’t needed. Well once they were ready and I went home to try them on they were still long! I took it back so they could correct it and they blamed me! AND wanted to charge me extra! I was so disappointed with their service. Don’t get clothes hemmed/​tailored at this place!!!

They don’t usually get all the stains out, and all of our clothes come back reeking of chemicals.
We are going to find a new cleaner.

This is my Dry Cleaners as of yet.
Parking kind of sucks for the most part, adjacent to a small street but I’m usually in and out pretty quick.
The turn around is quick and they usually offer to have it the next day or within two at the most.
The price point is ok. They’ve overcharged me a slight bit (thin summer polo was lumped in as a heavy shirt, albeit my other shirts were heavier).
Took a pair of jeans once with a light stain (from sitting somewhere slightly dirty) nothing major and too my surprise the nice woman say they didn’t know if they could get it out but would try.
The quality of the service is mainly why I keep coming back.
They got the stain on my jeans out and my clothes is always clean and pressed.
They also do alterations, I inquired but still haven’t pulled the trigger on that.
Lastly they accept Credit/​Debit which is nice because I’m in and out of there more quickly.

Super quick turnaround on my dry cleaning and really affordable. theyre my new go to dry cleaners.

Nice people, good service, good prices

This cleaners has been in the neighborhood for many years. And they have GREAT SERVICES there alterations are also good. And as far as their English the older staff many not communicate as well, but I have never had a problem with letting them know about what I needed done.

I’m looking for a good dry cleaner in the Mid-​City area. Since there was no reviews for Darling Cleaners at the time of writing this review, I decided to drive over there today and check it out.
I’m not impressed. Small parking lot [maybe more spaces on street?] They appear to do alterations. The Korean staff appears to have difficulty communicating with customers in the English language. I had a shirt with some stains on it. They looked at it and explained «they couldn’t get it out.» I’ve gotten the exact same kind of stain on this exact shirt only a few months earlier (sloppy, I know.) I took it into another cleaner before and they easily removed it. No extra charge.
Anyway — maybe it’s wrong of me to write a review. I left without getting any service from the place. Maybe someone else will have better luck and can write a more thorough review? I just didn’t feel good vibes here and left before the situation turned into a problem of some sort. I prefer using a dry cleaner that can actually get simple stains out of a shirt.
