OMG! So good! I ordered their Lechon and I’m loving every bite. The meat so tender and tasty. They fill up the whole container. If you love Cuban dishes u gotta try this!!!

Like woah. I got to try this food truck at Odd Nights at the Autry. I dont know exactly what drew me to this truck in particular. They have a really cute truck and the person who takes your order stands outside of the truck instead of taking your order through a window, so it was really inviting. I went with The Juban, it had three different types of meats. The pastrami on it was the best i’ve ever had, super crispy. All the ingredients on the sandwich were very high quality. I really really liked the plantain chips it’s served with, they had a nice spice to them. It also comes with a side of pineapple coleslaw that is really light and refreshing. Definitely ties the whole meal together.

Have visited this truck on multiple occasions and each time it never fails to deliver. My go to is the classic Crispy Cuban sandwich with a side of tostones, but I’ve had almost everything and each item is just as delicious as the last. The portions are great and I always leave satisfied! Employees are friendly and quick. Even when placing large orders, the food was delivered promptly. I’ve recommended this truck to all of my friends and would do the same to anyone who sees this review. Go check them out, you won’t be disappointed.

I am eating the Crispy Cuban now and I wish I could get over the fact that I saw the cook handle his cell phone and then touch the inside of someone’s sandwich without washing his hands. This sandwich is good though… maybe wear some gloves guys? They are also a bit overpriced but I guess that’s typical for a trendy food truck.

My friend and I stumbled past this truck on our way to the ATM in Highland Park because we wanted tacos but decided to stop here instead. There was a kid who came out and started talking to us and he was super nice and charismatic which is what made us decide to eat here. It was 12:30am on a Thursday night and there wasn’t anyone there. We decided to share the midnight Cuban sandwich which was way overpriced in my opinion($ 10.50). It took a while to make, I feel like we were waiting for at least 10 – 15 minutes. It was okay though because we were talking to the kid. I didn’t get his name but he was cool. The sandwich itself was amazing, I loved it so much. It was bursting with flavorful and just so delicious. I haven’t had too many Cuban sandwiches in my life but this was definitely the best one. Their plantain chips were also really good, the seasoning was really interesting but I just wished they hadn’t skimped on them. We only got a few in our box. If I saw this truck again, I would definitely stop for another sandwich. I docked off a star for the prices(be more reasonable!!!)

Good but not $ 10 good. The sandwich was kind of small for $ 10. It’s basically sliced ham on a oily grilled baguette. Lower the price to $ 8 and I’ll be back and tell my friends.

I had their tasty crispy Cuban sandwich. The first thing I thought when I got it and before even unwrapping it, this food truck can’t be for real charging ten bucks for this… Then I opened it and laughed — it’s so tiny and they cut it down the center. Basically, it’s two super small and thin sandwiches which are about six inches long, which I finished in about six small bites. Now the sandwich was very good. I enjoyed it, but felt it’s overpriced, especially for a food truck. I left totally unsatisfied. I wish them luck, but these can’t be expensive sandwiches to make and I hope they re-think their prices or make the sandwiches longer.

Decided to give this food truck another try and I’m glad I did. The line was long but they have an efficient system for taking orders and getting the food out. My sandwich came pretty quick despite the long line. I really appreciate the fact that the guys making the food wore gloves, most food truck don’t. I ordered the Tampa with no ham and it was so good. For those complaining about the size of the sandwich, I found it very filling. The sandwich also comes with plantain chips but I was to full too eat them. Next time I will give the vegetarian bowl a try.

The Ropa Vieja bowl is supreme. Enough food for two, the meat is so tender. Have you ever tasted a Movie? Watch Chef and then use Twitter, Facebook what ever to find out where the truck is at. They’re worth the drive. Best Cuban food ever.

Cuban Sandwich Not my first rodeo. I have had many a Cuban sandwich, have NOT been a fan. Most wimp out on the pulled pork, some have nasty tasting or overpowering pickles. I keep trying though, because I have heard that they can be really good. Enter Crispy Cuban Truck. I ordered the Tampa Cuban with the au jus and a Pina. Total was $ 14. First off, I finally got a sandwich worthy of the cost. AND I got a good Cuban. Finally! The au jus added to the flavors and made it one that I would order again. The only negative I can speak of was the way they cut the bread — lengthwise. Obviously, the knife wasn’t long enough, because it wasn’t completely cut in two. The other problem with that idea, is that more items were falling out than would have if they would have left it alone. Yea, my first good Cuban !! — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – 2nd visit, tried a Juban — Cuban with pastrami It was ok, I like the Tampa better, but they were out of many items at 11am. I would think that we were the truck’s first stop, wouldn’t you have it stocked? Also, I learned that the au jus, is really what makes these sandwiches good. NOTE to reader — spend the money on the au jus. You’re welcome.

Ate here while the truck was parked at a Street.Food.Cinema event. Out of all the trucks there, this one looked the best… and had the longest line. After 45 minutes of waiting, I think the food was well worth the wait! I got the vegetarian bowl and fell in love. 4 types of plantains with perfectly seasoned black beans, rice, and avocado! My friend got the chicken bowl and felt the same way about his choice. Definitely hope to make it back to the Crispy Cuban some other time to check out their sandwiches!

This truck was definitely a nice surprise! The first thing I liked was their website-good job guys! My co-worker ordered the Crispy Cuban Style Pork bowl and Maduros(sweet fried plantains) and he loved the Maduros but said the bowl was way too salty. Bummer! I was prepared to give the truck 5 stars otherwise. I on the other hand looooved my food! I actually loved my food so much I didn’t bother taking pictures of it, I just scarfed it down! Lol. Oops. Anyhow, I got the Pan Con Ropa Vieja and the Maduros as a side and WOW, that sandwich was delicious! Probably just a tad bit saltier that what I’m accustomed to but delicious nonetheless; I enjoyed every bite! The sandwich was served with Tostones(crispy fried plantains) and this small gesture totally won my heart because I loooove tostones! ;) The Maduros were amazing as well(plantains can be a hit or miss – they’re no good when they’re too hard) but these were just perfect. Yum. The truck is super cute and the gentleman taking the orders was very friendly and nice. I am very impressed with this truck and will definitely be going back the next time they come! **The only thing I ask is that they please work on improving the salt issue. Thanks! :)

Amazing potato balls, and the Crispy Cuban is off the hook. Its crispy and cheesy with a mulitude of flavors. P. S slightly salty so get a drink! Also they have a super friendly cashier stand outside and take your order as well as deliver your food to you. I also decided to start writing my review before finishing my food it was so delicous I just had to spread the word.

Oh my, this place is so delicious! We found this food truck searching for something similar to the one in the movie«Chef». We were not disappointed. My son loved it especially the yuca fries, that is a must.

My husband metioned he had seen a trolly type car roaming the streets of L. A so much to our excited surprise we saw the same trolly car at the HIghland Park Artwalk and took it as sign to grab a bite. It happened to be Valentine’s evening and with our infant in tow it worked out well that they had provided 2 table seating on the streets.. I grabbed a table while my husband ordered us the: Tostones Crispy Fried Plantains w/Mojo Sauce and Sea Salt Potato Balls(2) Crispy Fried Balls of Mashed Potatoes Stuffed with a Picadillo of Ground Beef and Veggies The Crispy Cuban Slow Roasted Pork, House Cured Ham, Imported Swiss Cheese, Thinly Sliced Dill Pickle, and Mojo Sauce. Hot Pressed on a Super Crispy Cuban Baguette The Tostones where dry, dry, dry so much I couldn’t eat past one., yes I know they are fried but there wasn’t even a crunch to them, nor flavor. The potato balls I can say I think are better than Portos’(You read correctly) and while my husband enjoyed the The Crispy Cuban, it was over in 3 man size bites and was still hungry.(We did in fact end of eating again elsewhere) Paid the same amount of $ 23.00 and had left overs the next day. . Still it’s a cute trolly.

I have to first say if I had ordered the Crispy Cuban sandwich this would def be a 5 star review. That being said, I ordered the Pan Con Ropa Vieja sandwich and is was a little dry for my liking but filled with lots of meat on the plus side! My boss ordered the Crispy Cuban sandwich and after trying a piece of that, all I wanted was to finish the rest of her sandwich! A little pointer, the line takes forever sooooo go when you’re starving

The look of the Cuban trolley was awesome. The food was epic the customer service was on point. I am making sure that I taste everything on the menu and I’m almost done. If you don’t know anything about Cuban food I want to try really good sandwiches that are authentic and made with love this is a place to go this is truly comfort food and if you don’t like this you are crazy. The first time I went was on 3rd and Broadway at Grand Central Market and second time was on the 10th of January for the art walk over there on york and Avenue 51. We brought friends and they thought it was epic, we will definitely be following the truck because you guys do deserve well done.

This place makes an Amazing Ropa Vieja bowl. I could see the cool little trolley truck from across the street at the Granada Hills Food truck event I went to tonight. I think i was incredibly impressed by the truck alone. They had also set up little tables next to which was a plus. On to the Food. I got the Ropa Vieja Bowl just because i’m not really into sandwiches and I probably would have kept walking if I didn’t see that they had bowls. I ordered up for curisoity’s sake and looked up the reviews to see what to get. Man this place really doesn’t have alot of reviews which I think is weriod. The Bowl came out and quick which worried me and also the size of the bowl also worried me but good news is that it filled me up. The Marinated Meat tasted amazing and so did all the fresh vegetables it came with. Good Jobs guys. I’m all around impressed and would do this again.

I’m not sure why this place doesn’t have more reviews. It’s good! You should definitely pick up the Pan con Bistec. Yummy in my tummy!!! Get in my bellllyyyy! All of their meats are lean cuts marinated and seasoned to perfection, and grilled well, leaving the meat juicy and savory. The bread is very fresh and warm just how I like it. And they have some sauce on there that words cannot describe. Basically the sandwich was gone faster than Nicholas Cage. With the sandwich comes a handful of banana chips. I’m not sure what was mixed in them but I couldn’t stop eating them. The service was just a tad slow, causing me to be late to a meeting. It’s understandable though everything is cooked after its ordered. But if the time was slightly faster. 5-stars easy!
