Cookies In Bloom

I loved the cookies & they became a favorite, however — the local Los Angeles store is now CLOSED. You can order online still, but I do miss the ability to have same day delivery. Those Chocolate Chip & the Oatmeal cookies varieties will definitely be missed.

Really disappointing and unprofessional. We put in an order at 9am this morning, a big brother cookie bouquet for our friends who just welcomed their baby. We submitted and paid for our order online, and received a call just afterward from Cookies in Bloom informing us they would have to charge an additional $ 8 for same day delivery. We agreed to the additional charge, even though this was not indicated on the website or amended in our order. Now at 1pm they called us again to tell us that today is considered a holiday by their courier (Friday after Thanksgiving) and as such we would need to pay an additional $ 25 for the bouquet to be delivered today as planned. A four hour delay in informing us of this, which means we now cannot choose another vendor for delivery today to the hospital. Their mistake, but they expect us to now assume a $ 52 dollar same day delivery charge, that is listed as $ 17 at our checkout. We have a call into the manager but they aren’t budging, so we’ve cancelled our order. Awful, too many other choices to even consider this one…
