This is a great place to catch up with an old friend or meet up on a date. They have a great selection of good quality coffee. My favorite is the soy cappuccino. The staff is awesome.

Loved it — did NOT feel like I was in LA… the whole place is walled/tucked away, and somehow you forget the cars beeping and zooming by right outside in the neighborhood. It was a courtyard with lights hanging so I’m assuming when it gets dark those start lighting up — I came here during the day and it was raining. or just sprinkling, but even then I chose to sit outside(and no you will not get wet because there are plenty of trees to protect you and your books). The heaters are on, you hear the water running along the walls, you could be here for hours and nothing would bother you. If you want to sit inside there are couches and tables inside as well. Even on the outside, there’s a corner that’s got a roof:) Everybody was really quiet. People are respectful of their space and borrowing outlets, which there are plenty… This place has so many seats and tables, you could bring your entire study group or just come alone and sit by the water fountain. I didn’t have any problem with their latte or their green tea latte. But. Maybe stay away from Americana or Iced Coffee? They don’t serve food but there were pastries and power bars. Also take advantage of the fact that student IDs give you 15% discount. Also also don’t park on the street and pay, this place has a designated lot next to it.

I have been driving by this place since 3 years. today I finally stopped and went in and was just blown away. This is the most beautiful coffee place in LA. It is big, has 3AREAS including a courtyard. A perfect place to hang out and meet your friends. They have the usual coffee, tea, muffins etc. I gave this place a 5 star for a coffee and tea place and ambience. I personally think they should offer more varieties for food … it is basic. But again … you looking for a great coffee place that is the place to go.

Love the coffee. The cinnamon dolce was awesome and the americana was just right on. My new favorite coffee place in town. Parking is a little touch but plenty on the side lot.

I really enjoy this place. I’ve worked at home for years, and often use Coffee Connection as an excuse to leave the house! It also helps that the coffee is delicious. I enjoy the variety of options, including Almond milk, Soy, etc. The staff is great and the vibe out in the open air patio is delightful. I also use their meeting space facilities, meeting with a local board game group here once a month or so. Great place!

Cozy café with good wifi(internet, wi-fi [trying to hit keywords to come up in search]). Great study spot, and if you’re lucky(or unlucky if you’re a soulless hairball-in-your-mouth kinda person), you’ll catch a few locals meeting up for some live folk music in the back.

A great place to just spend the time away with friends playing board games! You pay a flat fee for all you can play, and just ask the game master if you need help learning a particular board game. I only wish that their food and drink offering were a bit better and more diverse — and of more value(some portions are small) but I get that they need to run their business and having people play board games all day can be costly! Otherwise, I highly recommend chilling out here with friends and enjoying a competitive game or two.

Solid little coffee spot that is open late. Very cool design inside. Feels like many miles away from the traffic right outside the door on Centinela. It’s like a hidden courtyard, with natural light flowing in. I go here on the way to work sometimes, and the coffee is strong but smooth. Cappucinos are pretty nice as well.

This place is ADORABLE! I stopped in before heading back to Chicago and am so glad I read the Unilocal reviews before going somewhere else. I got the Mayan Mocha with almond milk and it was DELISH. There are PLENTY of tables and seating and would be great for study groups. Their outdoor courtyard felt like I was in some secret garden… with plenty of outlets and heat lamps.

This café building/ambiance wise has got to be the best in LA. I wanna say it’s got three different type of feels. First when you enter its the warm and cozy little neighborhood local café type of feel, then you open the door to the outdoor opened courtyard with trees providing shade, and on the other side is opened space kinda like a modern living room. I fell in love with the outdoor area. I could sit there for days just reading or doing stuff on my laptop. The bad part was their coffee. Just got a simple iced coffee, but it tasted like water with a few drops of coffee mixed into it or as if the iced coffee had ice sitting in it for hours. Don’t really know how they make their iced coffees but probably won’t be ordering that again. I guess you can’t have it all. Haha despite the bad coffee the space makes up for it. They have free wifi that worked well, and a free lot you can park next to the café or there’s also street parking available if you get lucky in the residential area.

I have been putting off writing this review for a while because I didn’t want anyone else to know about Coffee Connection! But they deserve another good review, so here it is. This place is one of my favorite coffeeshops in all of Los Angeles, because they get some very basic things very right as well as having an incredible space — really three spaces in one. Basics: — They don’t overcharge you. The prices are very reasonable. — The drinks are really good. I don’t drink coffee here much; mostly tea, but it is excellent. And the coffee drinks I’ve had have been really good as well. — The food is solid — there are a bunch of pastry options and then some more«hearty» refrigerated items, all at reasonable prices for a café. — They have a nice cold air-conditioned space in the summer(1⁄3 of the café). — The employees are really personable and helpful. In particular Tina, Chad and Kaela have always been super friendly to me. And when I’ve been a space cadet and can’t decide what I want to drink, Kaela has has always been there to give me an awesome recommendation and/or introduce me to something I wouldn’t have tried otherwise. The other employees are consistently friendly and helpful as well(apologies that I don’t know everyone’s name yet considering how much time I’ve spent there in the past few months!). Space: Like I said, there are really three spaces. One is an indoor«regular café space» with lots of outlets and tables and is air-conditioned in the summer. Then through a couple of doors there is a beautiful large outdoor courtyard space with tables that is shaded almost completely by a large tree, strung with Christmas lights, and heated in the winter by heat lamps. Amazingly enough there are a decent number outlets in this space as well! It’s one of my favorite spaces to sit and work in LA. It really needs to be seen. And as if that weren’t enough, there is a large room that is open to the outdoors on the other side of the courtyard, with a number of couches and a big table. So this place provides a lot of bang for your buck, friendly service, and a great set of options for sitting, hanging out, working, or relaxing. It’s really worth visiting.

This is one of my favorite coffee places in LA. The drinks are great, the service friendly, and I love the little courtyard. Yesterday, a friend and I sat outside(under the eave) in the rain, sipping a pumpkin spice latte, and it felt so amazingly fall-like(finally!). This is really a place people come to work, and tends to be on the quieter side, which I love.

This is a cute coffee shop. The barista makes good drinks. I ordered a chai latte and it was good. The parking is a bit tricky(across the street), but it’s fine.

It’s a nice place to relax… Especially the enclosed patio area. Only thing to watch out for are the trees right smack in the middle. They create a nice ambiance to the whole place, but seeing as it’s Fall… Leaves will literally fall onto your head. The iced Mayan mocha is pretty good… A bit on the sweeter side of things. One of the staff wasn’t very polite here when she asked us to move from our seats so they could fix one of the outdoor heaters. Regardless, interested in trying their latte’s on a cooler day in LA.

I’m writing this review as I’m sitting on their patio. Hopefully I don’t get kicked out before I finish.(Thanks for the free wifi!) I don’t have AC, and with this awful heat wave, I decided to find a new spot with wifi where I could work. This review is based mostly on the beverage I ordered — A large iced green tea(please see my attached picture). Maybe if I ordered a small there would’ve been less water? Did she use ONE tea leaf, super diluted. Seriously, the worst tea I’ve ever had. There is a ton of space for people to work inside the bar area, an outside patio and then a lounge area with couches — and almost every table was filled! Mixed crowd, some students studying, some conversing/practicing foreign languages, and people with headphones working or browsing the net. As crowded as it was, it was pretty quiet, the internet was speedy, and there’s a big parking lot across the street. but don’t order the iced tea!

Adorable and affordable coffee shop off of Venice blvd. Organic coffee. Great flavor and milk options(almond, soy, hemp, whole milk, etc) with prices, product, and ambiance better than the Starbucks across the street. Will definately be back during my Cali trip for my mornin cup o’joe.

Love this coffee shop. I wanted to get some CPA Exam studying done, so my friend told me to come here! Such a good idea, not only because it’s so close to my home, but because this place is awesome in so many ways. First off, they have a parking lot across the street just for this place, which is super convenient. They have a large variety of drinks, so I got a green tea latte and it was so, so good! They also had it ready within a minute! There are so many places to sit, but I chose to sit in the middle where there isn’t a ceiling so I could enjoy the weather. They have free wifi and it works really well, too! I studied there for hours, and although there was a lot of people, it wasn’t loud at all. I will definitely be back soon, thanks Coffee Connection for a great study experience!
