Chtchyan Suren DDS

Not really sure how to write this review. I went once about a year ago and really thought he was a great dentist. A no frills office (complete with two year old magazines in the waiting area and perpetual soccer on tv) and a staff of very efficient, if not overly friendly ladies. I went back in December for a cleaning and checkup and everything seemed fine but within days I started having swelling and severe bleeding in my gums.
For perspective I am in my 40s, have never had a cavity in my life, floss daily and have never once had a gum problem.
I went back a few weeks later and was told that I don’t floss right, that I needed to use Listerine, that it would go away. Well … it hasn’t. Now I am looking for a new dentist and I am annoyed. He acted like I was imagining it. I have literally spent ages flossing and doing everything he advised. I am reluctant to go back as it seems like a little patient blaming was going on but I need to do something.
Not impressed.

Me and my family have been going by Dr. Chtchyan for about 10 years already, you know how you get that funny feeling in your gut that tells you I dont want to go to the dentist? honestly that doesnt happen with this Dr.
I must say hes an amazing Dr. very knowledgeable, sense of humor is excellent, staff are extremely nice and helpful and most of all you honestly walk out of there with a smile on your face.

I’ve been to Dr. Suren for years and recommended him to all my friends. He’s great!
I found him after stupidly using a groupon dentist which then went wrong. A tooth I got a filling on was in pain and the groupon dentist said it was fine and kept giving me vicoden, only for an abscess to show up 6 months later. (Don’t trust groupon and big dental groups!)
My neighbor recommended Dr. Suren and by the time I got to him my tooth only had a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ chance of surviving a root canal. After he treated me, my tooth is now in great shape and even another dentist who was there who saw my original xray was amazed I didn’t lose the tooth. So Dr. Suren saved my tooth!
He is also great at treating cavities at the beginning stages even though he could make more money to let people’s teeth get worse. He’s very considerate and well priced, takes different payment options and works with your insurance to save you money.
My fiancé goes to him now too and he’s helped with his neglected teeth, and I always think of him when I see soccer on TV since there is always soccer on the TVs since the Dr. Suren says correctly «the news is depressing!»
So he’s a great doctor, has great staff and is very caring. I once called to cancel an appt at 2 am and was surprised Dr. Suren answered as he forward’s the office phone to his home at night he cares about his patients so much!
He’s gentle and I never feel any pain either. So please go see him for your dental needs and you won’t be disappointed!

Dr. Chtchyan has been my dentist for some time now and I couldn’t be happier with his work. His work is very professional and he does a clean job. The office is neat and organized and the staff is very friendly. He is such a funny guy that I actually look forward to going to the dentist. I’ll be getting my wisdom teeth removed in two weeks by him YIKES. :(

The BEST dentist ever! My boyfriend and I found him by accident, because we live just up the street. We are SO happy that we did. Here’s a dentist who truly cares about his patients. Not only has there been NO pain on any of our combined visits, but he has never tried to push anything on us, and is willing to work with you if you need to make payments. Can’t recommend him enough!
