Chef Courtney Howerton

I recently hired Courtney for a dinner for two — as a birthday celebration. I wanted to do something different and special, instead of going out to an LA restaurant as per the usual. I’m pretty picky about flavors and fresh food and had no idea what to expect of the process. Courtney listened to all my needs and put together an amazing menu of fresh ingredients with immense flavor and beautiful presentation. She was so easy to work with and handled everything so we could enjoy the evening and her wonderful food. What an amazing experience. Hire her, you will not regret it.

I hired Courtney for my girlfriends’ Birthday dinner. We did a three course meal and a cooking lesson for the two of us. Courtney is a great communicator and we went back and forth and we quickly decided on a menu. On the day of the dinner, Courtney showed up on time, totally prepared, and we had an amazing experience. We even had a friend in town at the last minute and Courtney had no problem including her in the festivities. Not only was the meal amazing, but Courtney was very warm and informative. It was like having a friend over for dinner who also cooks. Courtney even email us the recipes for her fantastic menu! We cannot wait to try these creations on our own!
We can’t wait to utilize her again and couldn’t recommend her more highly!

I don’t know if five stars will do Courtney justice! I had an incredibly specific recipe and theme for a work holiday party that she executed with poise, delicious food, and I didn’t have to break the bank! I priced about 20 different private chefs and Courtney was the only affordable one! She made sure to ask all the right questions, while taking into consideration our theme for a Wok + Wine Party (look it up if you haven’t heard of it, it gets messy!) Needless to say the set up was amazing, the execution was the highlight, and the food was even better. She made jumbo shrimp, and three Asian themed salads for about 40 people in our private home. Her assistant, Allie was also very helpful! The salads were already prepped but the shrimp she made on the spot and in shifts. She poured them on the table as we had requested and we dug right in. Courtney was very easy to work with and I’ve already recommended her for other potential opportunities within our company! I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again at all!

Courtney cooked a dinner for 10 people for me. Setting up the meal with her was very easy and took little time. She was flexible but had great ideas. The timing was just as discussed; the food was delicious; and clean up was perfect. It was a pleasure working with Courtney.

I hired Courtney for my wife’s birthday dinner for 2, and holy crap, what an amazing meal! Courtney and her sous were on time, came totally prepared, cooked the most amazing 3-​course dinner, served us, cleaned everything up and even took the trash with them! Communicating with her prior to the dinner was as easy as can be, and she made a menu based on my wife’s and my dietary restrictions. The gluten-​free, sugar-​free dessert she made was the best I’ve ever had on this (damn) diet! I wish I had taken photos of my meal, the presentation was beautiful as well. Thanks so much, and I can’t wait to hire you again!

I hired chef Courtney for a private surprise bday dinner for 2! I am so glad i found her! From the moment I booked she made sure i was completely happy with the menu. We spoke via phone and email a few times leading up to the date to ensure plans and menu for the evening were set. Everything was so yummy! I will certainly be using her again for my events

Chef Courtney followed up multiple times prior to my dinner event. She was extremely professional and made me feel super comfortable. I sought to surprise my guests with a fabulous home cooked meal (just not by me) and Chef Courtney did not disappoint. We were all super impressed with the presentation, the quality of the food, and the clean up afterwards. Courtney even offered to bring an assistant at no extra charge to help with the process and to attend to my guests. Would definitely use again and can highly recommend to others.

We were lucky enough to hire Courtney for a surprise private birthday dinner and we were so glad we did! She was very professional, friendly, and most importantly — an amazing chef!!! She was great to work with from the getgo, from finding out our preferences through creating and customizing a fantastic menu. I wish I’d taken pictures of the meal, as the presentation was beautiful too. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend her for any catering event, private dinner, or personal chef, you will be very happy you did!!!

Chef Courtney is amazing! Courtney catered a dinner party where I was a guest, and she knew ahead of time that I have dietary restrictions. She kindly modified certain recipes and even made special side dishes just for me. Chef Courtney is a delight. Her style is creative and her food is absolutely delicious! I went to LA for a friend’s engagement party and she had Chef Courtney cater dinner for us. Let me tell you, she was AMAZING.
