Amazing from the drinks to entertainment! We enjoyed dinner, margaritas, and a great show! Perfect date night(;

Food was mediocre at best with way too much sodium in the pork dish. The service was pretty bad too. Our food arrived to the table cold. The mariachi band was ok. No need to come back.

I absolutely love this place! Great décor, food, staff and margaritas! The ambiance is perfect. You must try and tequila salmon, mole chicken and enchiladas, pork shank and this shrimp dinner — fabulous!

I been here twice, and only 4 stars due to them taking FOREVER to serve our food, there was times where we get seated and the next couple gets seated after and have more people in their party and they get there food before us. Other than that the mariachi and food is good but the service SUCKS!

So glad I found this place! I brought my mom and mother in law to enjoy some mariachi and dinner. We were all happy with the service, delicious food/drinks and entertainment. I am totally coming back for a special occasion and I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Really great place for dinner! They have a mariachi every night, I went on a Tuesday night there wasn’t alot of people. The setting of this restaurant is elegant and Romantic. I believe that on the weekends they have a mariachi dancers. Recommend this place.

Good place to dine with family and the food is outstanding. Even it took lot of time for the food to be ready everything was absolute delicious. But felt is was pricy for me. The only thing I have to complain is the loud live music. Most people enjoyed it well, but for me it is loud.

DISCLAIMER: I happened to come to Casa Sanchez on Cinco de Mayo, so perhaps this place was more festive and may or may not be representative of what it’s like on the average day but, I have to say, I had a very enjoyable experience! We made a reservation the day before, which was definitely a great idea because there was a very long wait when we got there so I’m sure we would have been waiting for a long time had we not planned in advance. The venue is actually quite huge and has 3 sections– one in the back with a high table seating, a large main room where the mariachi performance took place, and an outdoor patio-like seating area. We ended up being seated in the large main room, directly to the right of the stage(so we essentially had front-row seats, but to the side). The mariachi performance began around 8:30 and lasted till 9:30! I don’t know if this is typical, but we were pleasantly surprised and the show corresponded completely with the duration of our meal so it was awesome! The performers all had high-energy and even elicited some audience participation, which was cool. As for the food, I am vegetarian and there honestly weren’t THAT many options for the main entrée. But that being said, I found that they had a vegetarian fajitas dish OR enchiladas con queso(cheese enchiladas) and chili rellano as part of the vegetarian combo dish. They even gave me a separate rice and beans side dish that was vegetarian, so that was a pleasant surprise! The food is pretty pricey, as each dish is in the $ 20s but when you think about the show you get included with your meal and the overall ambience, I think it was worth it!(plus, I forgot to mention that there were free chips, salsa, and guacamole!) The service was slightlyyy slow, but I’m sure it had to do with the large Cinco de Mayo crowd. Mr. Sanchez even personally brought us some of our food and checked in to see how we were doing, which felt very personable! I also got the mint mojito, which was really refreshing and went well with the meal. Overall, I had a great dining(and musical!) experience at Casa Sanchez, and it’s a place I’d definitely recommend, especially to someone who does not have any dietary restrictions!

The wife and I had dinner there! Our first time there. Live music and very large restaurant. The menu range from authentic Mexican cuisine to classic American dishes. Roasted chicken, bbq ribs. I had the chicken enchiladas with a light sweet mole sauce. The wife had sizzling fajitas! The steak was so tender. The salsa was good. Fresh guacamole brought to your table. The music playing through the night. Had a slice of this deep chocolate cake. Enjoy myself.

Took my grandparents here for grandpa’s 80th birthday. This was a 5-star experience. I say«experience» because you’re coming here for more than just the food. I noticed how people who gave 1 and 2-star reviews often complain you can spend less money on the same dish somewhere else. These people are DENSE. Obviously you can pay less elsewhere. But here you get: –an excellent live mariachi band to serenade you at dinner. — beautifully-maintained dining room to remind you that you’re likely here for a special occasion — over-the-top attentive service — a round of complimentary guac and chips when your party is brought to your table — awesome ambiance all around If you want to spend $ 10 on an enchilada plate but could do without the items mentioned above, go elsewhere. I’m sure you’ll enjoy your meal while sitting in a one-piece booth at a taco shop while a tv over your head is playing a scratchy soccer game and banda music blares from the kitchen. My steak fajitas were delish, by the way.

I have had this place book marked for a while. Finally came on a regular non busy evening. The place is really fancy and nice. We weren’t quite ready for the prices considering it was just like a «lets just go here» type of night. I had chicken fajitas, he had steak fajitas, and the kid had chicken nuggets of some sort. The chicken fajitas barely had any onions and were pretty tasteless. The steak fajitas tasted very umm. idk. like plain meat. No seasoning. Hard to describe. I ordered a glass of reisling of course. The color was extremely dark and the taste resemble the color. Heavy and strong. Lastly, we sat in like a walkway with our table kind of blocking it. So the waiters and random folks kept squeezing by to get through. I know, this sounds like a bad review but it was a nice place and the service was good. Just won’t go back for the food. Our server, Lupe was extra nice.

Went to celebrate a friends bday, entertainment was great !! The atmosphere is nice seams very fancy… the etiquette on the waiters is on another level first they push for the most expensive margarita, cold chips, they rush as you eat remove your plates before you even finish .we were a party of 16 people they make you move around to accommodate the check complete joke !! I’m not a picky person, it wasn’t terrible but wasn’t great . Oh by the way if you order a Arnold Palmer they charge you both for a lemonade and an ice tea Along for bday cakes they charge person plate and that’s you bringing your own cake . Won’t be back Thanks !!

The food is phenomenal. Let’s just get that out of the way first. There isn’t anything on the menu that is not delicious. They serve free guac + salsa + chips while you wait for your food, and even without, we still had to pack half our meals to take home. The portions are ridiculously generous. Secondly, this is the ultimate date spot for some good Mexican food and fun since they’ve got a live band playing in the evening, the tables are linen’d and candle’d and the service is «white glove» quality. There’s an indoor portion that is darker, shared with a bar and the stage for the band. There’s an outdoor portion that is concealed but brighter, quieter and there’s plenty of greenery like a outdoor garden. Also great for events as well, we’ve had a few corporate get-togethers here and it’s been fantastic.

We came with four people around 8 on a Friday night and we were seated on the patio right away. The patio is heated and covered, so it feels a lot like being inside, except you’re just slightly further away from the stage where the mariachi band is playing. When you’re seated you’re given free guacamole and salsa which was nice. The food was all very good but the service left a little to be desired. The servers didn’t really make too much of an effort. Overall, Casa Sanchez is great for date night or a birthday dinner. It’s about $ 45 – 50 for each person if you get an entrée + drink.

A little hidden gem in the neighborhood. We go to Marisco Chente next door for their shrimp and that place is a hole in the wall so when I heard we were coming to Del Rey for dinner, I had set my expectation. To my surprise, this was more of a banquet décor on the inside. They had live mariachi band playing in the main room. The ambiance was romantic. Great place for a date but if you’re really trying to get to know her, this place is too loud. A: Strawberry Margarita — I haven’t had one in a while, pretty darn good. Not much alcohol in it but delicious B: Sanchez Platter — the tequitos and quesadillas were okay, nothing too great, the fried calamari saved this platter. It had texture of course but also with great seafood flavor and battered just right. A: Queso Fundido — this cheese is thick so eat it fast otherwise you’ll be asking them to reheat it every 10 minutes. Unfortunately we snacked before dinner so our appetite wasn’t big and we weren’t able to try their entrée. Glad to have discovered such a place so close by but once is enough for me :)

Wow what an amazing place! Have been here twice now and both experiences were awesome. The service is great, fast, and attentive without being overbearing. The food is exceptional, the décor stylish, and the mariachi band is worth coming to see by itself. One of my favorite aspects of this place is that they bring free guacamole, salsa, and chips to every table — such a great and lovely perk! The manager /owner seems to be always around and stops by at least once to make sure you’re enjoying your food. Some of what we ordered: Carne Asada — This is DELICIOUS. Most tender and tasty Carne I’ve ever had! Chicken Mole — This is also quite tasty. The mole is sweet and just very slightly spicy. Fish Tacos — Whatever sauce they put on this is delicious! Final Verdict: My new favorite Mexican place in LA! I’ll definitly be back and often.

My fiancé and I looked up places to eat around our home and stumbled upon here! So glad we did! The ambiance of this restaurant is beautiful, elegant, and old fashion. I would have to say the only thing I would change would be the lighting. It was a little too dark for me, but that’s just my opinion! I ordered the enchiladas, jalapeño margarita, and shared the flan dessert. Everything was insanely delicious! I would have to say our waiter didn’t seem to interested to be working that night. Wasn’t too engaged with us, kept looking around, distracted, while we were trying to order our food. But I loved the fact that the manger/owner came to e dry table to greet them and ask how everything was! Points in my book! He even made sure to see us out! Now let’s talk about the mariachi band. Voces de Mexico was absolute amazing! Stunning and breathtaking! I definitely will be bring more friends and family here!!!

Nice formal Mexican restaurant. Pretty pricey so I would reserve this place for a special celebration. The food was top notch though! Chips and salsa came out without an extra charge, which is the way it should be at all Mexican restaurants. They even came with guac! So yeah, guess they just include it in the steep price but I’ll take it! I was between the salmon al tequila and the other salmon dish but I decided to try the other… something about it being wrapped in banana leaves and marinara sauce just spoke out to me!(see photo) I was bummed that my friends and I were not able to order a pitcher of Sangria or Margaritas, we all had to order our own. Which was annoying and pricey. They were good and strong though so at least there was that. It was annoying to make reservations because there are Mariachi shows but they only start at 6:45 and 8 and neither of those times are good for dinner. Fortunately we were able to sit out on the patio at the 7:30 time we wanted. It ended up working out just fine too because we could still hear the Mariachi band and have a conversation with each other, which was the point of us meeting for dinner. This restaurant is more of a ‘dinner and a show’ so I guess the steep price isn’t so bad if you account for that. And the Mariachi band was amazing and dressed in the traditional attired. They even had a man and woman dancing to the music on stage! That was neat to see! Olé!

Love this place for some good Mexican food, and oh yes for some mariachi everyday!!! I’ve been coming here for a very long time because of my friend that literally lives walking distance from this place so she is the one that introduced me to it. Shame on me for not writing a review sooner. I’ve enjoyed their dinner items so much and their happy hour also. Here are some of my favorites: — Guac and chips — so simple and so good! — Steak fajitas — oh so yummy! — Salmon al tequila — My favorite!!! So full of flavor and so tasty!

4 stars. Casa Sanchez is a neighborhood favorite of mine. It’s literally 5 minutes walking distance from my home so I can have me some margaritas and call it a day. Happy hour is on M-F 5−7pm at the bar or patio and it sure does make me a happy gal. Margaritas are $ 4 with tons of options to choose from. I personally love the pomegranate flavor on the rocks. Selected appetizers are $ 5 as well. I la la looooveee the free chips, salsa, and GUACAMOLE! You rarely see restaurants give unlimited guac so you can literally get full off of this. All the food options are yummy as well but a little on the pricier side. The portions are huge though! I’ve enjoyed the fajitas because the tortillas that come with it are hot and fresh! Today, I got the Carne Tamiquena $ 26 and it was okay. Everything tasted pretty salty and the enchiladas were too cheesy for me. On Thursdays-Sundays there is a live mariachi band which is a nice touch. I don’t recommend coming here if you’re on a first date because the band is really loud and you can barely hear with the other person is saying. Otherwise, it’s a great time. Service has always been on point and I liked the fact that the servers actually box your left overs.

Un excelente lugar para deleitar platillos típicos mexicanos preparados manteniendo la autenticidad de los ingredientes pero sin faltar un toque de fusión. El ambiente y entretenimiento del mariachi hizo nuestra visita muy placentera. 100% recomendable.
