Stopping in this café was probably the best 5 minutes of my life. Okay, so I’m exaggerating, but it was amazing. I need to give some back story here. I used to brew my own coffee at home, I was never a café person. So when I stopped drinking coffee(waits for the shocked gasps to subside), I started dabbling in tea. I’m a pretty simple girl when it comes to drinks, so most of the time, I just end up settling on your run-of-the-mill Earl Grey black tea. When I go out though, I get lazy and always seem to end up with a Chai Tea Latte from Starbucks. After months of doing this, I started to dislike going to Starbucks more and more. I thought«if I’m going to stop somewhere to buy a chai tea latte, I want to go to a nice local coffee shop, or something other than a national chain.» The idea sounded great in my head, but I never ended up doing it. This trend officially ended when I stopped at this place last night. I live in North Hollywood but I was in the LACMA area for a meeting. As I drove to the meeting place, I kept my eyes open for a Starbucks, because I didn’t have a lot of time. But then I saw Caffe Latte out of the corner of my eye and thought, «you know what, screw Starbucks, I’m going here.» Right when I walked in the door, I felt transported. There was some old school Italian music playing and the interior of the café was very calming and woodsy feeling. It was one of those places where right when you walk in, you feel relaxed and renewed at the same time. As I mentioned before, I didn’t have a lot of time. As such, I ran up to the guy at the counter(an absolutely delightful man who I gather from reading previous reviews is named Miro) and quickly said«do you have chai tea latte’s here?» He smiled and said, «No. But I can make you one» in a cute and mischievous way. I think he could sense that I was a «person of Starbucks», haha. He continued to charm me. As he finished making the latte, he said«Here. I make this just for you». He really was just the sweetest gentleman. And then. I tasted it. Holy Goddess. It was the most beautifully rich and complex chai tea latte I have ever had. I took a drink and yelled with joy. I was like, «OHMYGOD, THISISAMAZING.» He just smiled. He knew. I tried to tip him but he wouldn’t let me. And now I want to go there every day of my life. It was like, a 5 minute experience that changed the entire trajectory of my life.

Classic diner, a little long in the tooth atmosphere-wise, but the food is excellent.

I’ve been coming here for years. They first seduced me with the complimentary muffin which is always a treat. But the coffee is why I alsays come back. As you may know, the roast their own coffee. All you have to do is order a regular cup of Joe and you will find out what everyone already knows. I am a regular there and have never had any issues. This place is consistently good. I highly recommend.

Nice little café with savory food. I had a Cobb salad that was excellent. Just the right amount of dressing and the house Cabaret was very good. Had to have two. Espresso was very good, too. Server was attentive and a very nice man.

Was looking for a place for breakfast. Found this nice Caffè. Salmon Benedict was excellent, and the coffee was good as well. Great choice and a relaxing atmosphere! Service was prompt and the waitstaff are on top of every table. Cleanliness of the establishment is above average, and they did a great job on the layout. I will be going back for sure!

A lovely little French-style café down the street from the Automotive museum and hidden in a unsuspecting line of seemingly missable stores. We ordered a scrambler, a breakfast bruschetta dish with sourdough toast and poached eggs, and some buttermilk pancakes. All were tasty. They also bring complimentary poppyseed muffins out. It looks like they roast coffee on the premises and it was excellent and comforting. Overall, a totally charming place.

We went here for my birthday off, just prior to LACMA. It FOOD: I enjoyed the pasta mama and it was delish! I forgot what the husband had. We both enjoyed a latte and hadn’t any complaints! AMBIANCE: While a tad busy, it was a cute little joint, with a lot of people there from what seemed like work-related breaks. SERVICE: While a little slow(due to being busy), everyone was polite and the bussers were a bit quicker than the server. PARKING — While they check you when you arrive to verify you’re going somewhere in the lot, THEREIS A LOT for parking! Suh-weet! Bottom Line — Would and will likely totally return when in the area!

Good place for brunch! This place is conveniently located near all the famous Los Angeles museums such as LACMA. They have a private parking lot, something thats pretty rare in Los Angeles. This is a small mom and pops shop and everyone was extremely friendly and was always smiling. With a Unilocal check in you get a complimentary lemon poppy seed muffin which was nice. My eggs benedict portion was large but the hollandaise sauce was very runny. Other than that the food was tasty. We also order the waffles with fruits which was good. A very casual brunch place you can hit up before or after visiting the museums.

Goodbye cruel world. As a young man, caffe latte had it all for me. Egg burrito. Coffee. The years went by. Caffe latte stayed the same. Tucked away in an ugly strip mall. I waved to her each time I drove by. My wife hates her. So we don’t eat here. I recently had the chance to rekindle our relationship. Breakfast meeting. My friend asked me if she would get food poisoning. I said no! I sat across from her and asked, Why do people have it out for café latte… as we both bit into our dry free lemon poppy seed muffins and stared at the fly who had landed and died tragically on top of her lemon wedge. And with that, I wave goodbye forever. Two stars for an old love who’s lost her luster.

The timing of my order was perfect, but the Latte Benedict was very mediocre. The hollandaise sauce… None. The eggs, stiff. Other than that, the service was wonderful. People were very kind. Maybe I’ll come back to try something. Maybe I’ll even give the Latte Benedict another shot. Could’ve been a bad day for the chef. I mean, we are only human… ** shrugs **

This place is cute and cozy. We shared a Yucatan scramble and it was pretty good. I ordered an iced vanilla latte which was a little too sweet for my taste. After ordering, we were offered a complimentary muffin and now that I’m thinking about it, why did I turn down a FREE muffin?! The service here is great and the waitress was very attentive. The only reason why I’m not giving this place 5 stars is because someone from another table found a strand of hair in her food… thank god it wasn’t in ours. Hopefully she got her meal on the house.

Great service, Great location, great food! I have to say that having good coffee is often a deal breaker for me. This place has both good food, and Great coffee. Iced coffee of course, as I don’t like hot drinks. We were seated right away, since it wasn’t busy. However, by the time we left, the room was packed. Ordered an iced coffee to start with. It was so good I had 2 ½ glasses, and felt a bit jittery afterwards. They also give complimentary Poppy Sesame Seed Muffins to start off with. It was warm, and a great start to my Caffe Latte experience. I had the Latte Benedict, which comes with a side of hash browns, or fruit. The hash browns are cooked with peppers and give it that extra kick and flavor. You won’t need any seasonings or sauce for it. The Egg Benedict itself came on top of a french roll, which i’m not a fan of. Next time’ I’ll ask for wheat or something. The hollandaise sauce was very light. Definitely didn’t taste fattening and heavy like most places. Parking is very conveneient. They have their own parking lot, which is a big plus for a restaurant in la. Even better when you don’t have to valet park your car. We were in and out pretty quickly. The prices aren’t bad at all. Definitely worth it for the amount of food you get, the fabulous taste, and good service. I must still reiterate that we were very pleased with our first time here and will be back again. Give this place a try. You WON’T be disappointed.

Its a clean, cozy little spot to grab lunch and their staff is friendly and courteous. However, I really expected better from their food, especially considering what you pay. I’ve eaten there a few times, but I recently ordered their sirloin burger($ 15) and an Arnold Palmer($ 3.50 and no refills). I expected a savory burger begging to eaten, but what I got was a luke warm, oily hunk of meat that was a chore to finish. The only reason I finished it was because of what I paid for it. Also I always get this awkward waitress who seems to get defensive whenever I ask her question about their entrees and how their dishes are prepared — as if I was an undercover inspector from the FDA — when really all I want to know about is the portion sizes and what kind of bun options are available. I also asked her for some extra napkins which i never got because she forgot or was texting on her phone or something. I get sub par service each time, despite tipping. TL:DR; Way too expensive for the quality and quantity of food and service there. Never going there again. Would not recommend it unless your tastebuds are completely useless and you have time and money to waste.

I visited this location just recently even though I’ve come to this area for many years. Just never really thought about eating here. One of these days I needed a real quick breakfast spot and I came here and glad I did. I had just their oatmeal and an orange juice and I must say it was perfect. I ordered it with water so it was bland and less creamy of course. I will be going back to try other dishes here. There is plenty of parking so don’t worry about that. The waitresses were also very friendly and helpful with the menu. Inside it was very quiet, I got here real real early so that may be why. I plan to visit this location soon again since it is down my neighborhood. * I will update my review here once I try other items and get a better feel of the place.

Such a cute caffe. It is located in the shopping center where Wahoo’s is at. I went for the first time because I wanted to try out a new caffe spot near my place and found this one on Unilocal. There was no wait and we went around 9:30am on a Saturday. That was awesome because we were really hungry and did not want to wait 30 minutes just to get seated. I ordered the huevos rancheros which were pretty good. They have several breakfast options so you have a lot to choose from. They don’t have many healthy options, BUT as you see in my picture your side can be fruit.

Enjoyed the protein bowl with tuna. Will update after I try more. I have been looking for a good spot for business breakfasts near my office and this might be it! While the cashier did not seem the most cordial, the restaurant gave me a warm lemon poppyseed muffin with my takeout order, although I am trying to avoid muffins, so I gave it away.

My latte was very good. The tomato soup and club sandwich was pretty good too, not the best ever, but I would get it again. The staff was very friendly and nice in allowing me to sit and study for a while without really bothering me. I didn’t realize they would close so early on a weekend, oh well.

I just finished eating my meal, and I’m very pleasantly surprised. The sirloin burger is pretty good, I like the cheese and bun and the meat is better than average. It’s good, but I probably wouldn’t spend $ 13 on it again. The french fries, however, are amazing. I’m good with just ordering the fries to be honest. These are my favorite kind of fries, crispy and flavorful without the grease and excessive salting. I ordered my meal to go and the staff was very friendly and helpful. A lady helped me and she was intent on making me feel comfortable as I waited which was very much appreciated. The venue itself is pleasant. I came around 2pm on a sunday and it wasn’t crowded. Parking was easy. I’ll be back for the fries. :)
