Wasnt expecting much, came here cuz i was in a rush. Walked in and the place was a mess. Empty tables were all nasty and dirty. Then the guy at the register looked like he hated his job and said wat do u want… wow lol. I got the all beef burrito n 1 chicken taco. The tortilla was dry and flakey. Some came off and it was just a mess. Burrito had no taste. Nothing special and meat was chewy, threw away half my burrito. Chickent taco was whatevers. Sigh, i should have just went to a taco truck. Bill was $ 10 lol… def wont be coming back.

This place is a joke. I went last night and ordered some food to go and took a seat. A female customer than ordered after me and took a seat as well. She got her food within 5 minutes and was gone. Another female customer came in, ordered, and what do you know… She was also gone within 5 minutes… I waited for 30 minutes until I finally got my nachos and quesadilla. Like I said, this place is a joke. Don’t waste your time and go somewhere else…

Cabo Joe’s formerly Jerry’s Mexican Grill, the menu is virtually the same, the place– almost nothing has changed. seriously, it’s just a name change. I have always liked the Beef Nacho’s here(chicken is good too!), The portions are generous layered in ooey-gooey blanket of melted cheese. deeeelicious! Depending on what kind and size of burrito that you want, Cabo Joe’s Burrito’s are enough to feed an army, ok, that might an exaggeration but they are huge, however, what they sure have in size, they lack in flavor, a touch more seasoning; salt and spices should to the trick, otherwise. lather on the butter, as it’s a little on the dry side. For your everyday Mexican cravings, Cabo Joe’s is not that bad, it could use a few tweaks in flavor and better lighting in their shop. I think their prices are reasonable considering overhead and rent at this neighborhood stripmall along Eaglerock Blvd. …again.Beef Nacho’s.hmmmmm good. :)

Their fry machine was«broken» today so I was left to try their carne asada nachos and boy was that a mistake. From the cheese to the meat, everything seemed to have been out of date. Don’t get me wrong, their carne asada FRIES are bomb dot com but those nachos could not compare in the slightest. It’s gone from ‘Jerry’s Mexican Grill’ to ‘Cabo Joe’s’ and back and forth. The instability of owners is enough to tell you where this business is going. Jerry, Joe, whoever. Get your food and your name straight !!

After 37 minutes of waiting patiently, I went up and reminded them I still wanted my breakfast burrito. Without an apology for clearly forgetting my order, they threw together a ball of egg wrapped in a raw tortilla in about 10 seconds. Add this to the list of places never to visit anytime soon.

Same owner, they just change name to a more mainstream name. That’s what the young lady at register told me. The restaurant is run by the owners MOM. MOM had medical issues and she recently just came back after more of year of absence. Both sons are Police Officers and had no time to attend the business. Owners grew up in Eagle Rock. I personally love the food and my favorite is the chicken hard shell tacos and wet burritos. Menudo is the bomb!!! Breakfast burrito is amazing!

Customer service was not great today. Cant help but comment on the service. We’ve been coming here for years & today by far was the worse. When the cashier takes an incorrect order you expect an apology. She didn’t even offer salsa, yet every other customer with take-out food she offered. & there’s NO damn chicken. Hope there are better days for this restaurant & its employees.

I’m not sure why there are a few bad reviews on here. I go here frequently both before and after the change in management. I consistently get delicious food at reasonable prices. New weekday lunch specials are an amazing value! Been taking all my coworkers who are impressed as well.

Sorry! Maybe drunks in Cabo would like this but waiting forty five minutes for some tacos is just ridiculous. As you can see from the picture here’s about one ounce of meat in their hard shell taco. I get it’s taco Tuesday, there’s a slight rush. I still don’t get why people who sat down twenty minutes after I ordered were served before we were. Don’t bother, I say drive a little out of he way and hit Azteca Huartche instead.

I dont come here thay often, with that said. I am extremely happy with the food, service and the atmosphere. I am not a big fan of small restaurants inside shopping centers, my past experiences keep me away from them. But this place is different. The young lady working the register is nice and always with a smile on her face. I like that you can the cooks and kitchen working and constantly cleaning it. Great lunch specials as well
