The chicken wings Are GOOD! MY Families been coming here for years and they’re always consistent. The potatoe salad Is delicious and I really never order that when I’m out.
No frills tho, definitely a hood spot cuz you’re ordering thru that bullet proof window lol!

It’s Allllllllllllllll Good In The Hood! That’s why I travel approx. 30 min. From home to get my usual —catfish dinner with potato salad and hush puppies– perfect everytime! I promise u won’t be disappointed. Yessssssss it is in the hood like most good food but I have never had or seen any problems, hey we go there for the food not the extra-​curricular activity– if I’m rrrreally hungry I eat it there, there’s no waiter etc etc just tables and chairs — just tell em what u need and if they have it it’s yours! And say hi while your there…
It’s good!!! To the very last bite with friendly service from any of the family members there, so Bön Appetit

I usually get the catfish and oysters. I get the chicken sometimes, but the chicken is usually too salty for my taste, but if it wasn’t for that, it would be perfect!
Nice family owned business… knows my mom by first name.
Plus the food doesn’t have excess grease dripping off of it, even though it’s fried… good stuff!
Highly recommended if you want southern fried cooking without the food sitting in a sea of grease. Great seasonings, no need to salt it up or even add condements!

Their chicken, fish and shrimp is awesome. If you are looking for some down home southern fried chicken, this is a must try. It is owned by a very nice family. My favorite is the wing special (you can get 4, 6 or even 10 whole wings and fries) or the red snapper or catfish lunch. The potato salad is great and I usually only eat home made.
MUCH better than Louisiana or Popeyes. I wont even eat there anymore.
Great prices as well.

This place is down the street from my husband’s job and I randomly found it one day when we were stuck there after work… we both got the prawn and chips dinner with a side salad… it was as good as it gets… i was also extremely hungry so i’ll have to try back again to do a better assessment…
overall the service was great. they only take cash (like most neighborhood spots) but there’s a liquor store across the street where you can get cash and they’ll gladly start your order before you pay… oh and they don’t skimp on the sauces either (hot, cocktail, tartar, ketchup)…

This establishment has been in my neighborhood for YEARS. It’s family owned and they are very friendly. All of their food is very tastey. My favorites are the red snapper, oysters, shrimp and red velvet cake.
If you are looking for a quick local fix, this is the place.
