Coffee was great and their bakery items were to die for! So delicious! Definitely coming back for more when I visit LACMA again.

I ordered Americano, my wife«Artisanal Chocolat». We’re both underwhelmed completely. Better off at Starbucks than this place.

My bf and I came here because we were thirsty from our long drive to LACMA. I got the green tea shakerato, which consists of matcha powder shaken with soy milk and honey. This drink is perfect for me because not only do I love green tea, but I’m also lactose intolerant :) The café had a nice atmosphere and I loved the décor. The cashier was friendly, as well. 4 stars for the pricing. Though appetizing, I wouldn’t pay $ 5 – 8 for a pastry.

My «macchiato» was good, quality beans that I could taste… Two stars because I can’t stand bad customer service. Barista was kind and nice,(even made the cute heart, and a leaf on my boyfriends mocha) However, the cashier, started me up and down and rolled his eyes when I asked for a «macchiato». He said, «Do you know what that is?» I told him, «Uh yeah I know what it is.»(I have a built in Miele expression machine in my kitchen wall). He again had something to say showing me the small cup it comes in, re-questioning my order– and I said yes I know … I don’t mind that’s he’s from Italy, I get it. But you don’t cant think everyone out there is ignorant on the art of food and drinks. I am an easy going person– but don’t like being disrespected …

So I bookmarked this place because they had«adult milkshakes». What do I do? I show up with an underaged teenager, a child, and a toddler. No adult milkshake for me. Instead, I got to order the following and they’re all incredible good. Mexican Hot Chocolate Artisanal Hot Chocolate Choclate Croissant Plain Croissant Arnold Palmer I would totally come back to this place. C+M is a LACMA Café and it is very worthy of being LACMA’s café. There are a handful of tables with chairs outside but really, you should eat your food and drink your coffee in front of one of the art installations located outside the museum. You do not need a LACMA entrance pass to patronize this café. Parking in this area is inane.

I really like C+M, but that’s because it fits into my little routine at LACMA. It’s a nice place to take a break from enjoying art; you can sit down, reflect on what you’ve seen and people watch while you do it. When my fiancé and I come to C+M, we usually order a hot tea, café mocha or iced tea — all of which have always been great. Their selection of hot teas are lovely and flavorful, without tasting overly cheap. I’d say the same goes for their iced teas, which need little to no sweetening since they’re just perfectly brewed. I do enjoy their espresso drinks as well — never burnt, and always smooth. Their Americano, which I’ve only had once, is one of the better ones I’ve tried. The line does go by slowly, but with their small, yet delicious, choice of sandwiches and pastries, coupled with a neat variety of drinks, I always make it a point to visit C+M with each LACMA visit. Plus!!! If you go to the Bing theatre to watch a movie, they allow you to bring things from C+M inside.

Stopped in after visiting the rain room for a warm, cozy London Fog(Earl Gray with vanilla syrup and almond milk) which was delicious. Clean, modern, cheery space which would have been perfect if not for the fact that it was like 50 degrees in there! Thank goodness for that London Fog to warm me up from the inside!

Good quality coffee ruined by inexperienced sloth barista. With no line and only two people ahead of us, took 15 minutes for a latte which was served with an unpleasant side of attitude. Upside: great people watching.

Quick spot to grab a snack as a pick me up if you’re getting tired wandering LACMA. definitely try the double chocolate donut. It’s more of a chocolate cake, but it’s so delish!!! The drinks here were sub par and took way too long one you order.

This is a nice spot to take a break from walking around LACMA. They’ve got a nice selection of coffees and pastries, however everything is pretty overprices. I guess that is to be expected at a tourist spot. The Green Tea donut was pretty good. Plenty of seating with floor-to-ceiling glass walls for enjoying the view outdoors.

This is a nice stop during a visit to the LACMA and on the way towards Brea Tar Pits. I ordered the London Fog, a mixture of Earl Grey tea and Almond Milk… yummy. The tea bag was strong enough to add more hot water which they graciously complied to.

How I heard of this place: My sister, the designer and artist wished to visit LACMA on her first trip to Southern California in about 16 years. The other two of us obliged, and, of course, talked her into a coffee break during the museum tour. Type of cuisine: «While spending a day at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, stop by for a boutique coffee experience at C+M(Coffee and Milk). Our baristas artistically present Intelligentsia coffee and espresso, alongside seasonal sandwiches, organic milk sorbet and a variety of fresh pastries.“LACMA C+M Order Counter Ambiance: «Located near the museum store, we are surrounded by thousands of works of art and an art-making gallery for all ages. The café culture at C+M is a cozy blend of modern design and classic coffee shop, fitting for a day visit at LACMA.» What I ordered: A single, ristretto mocha($ 4) for me, an Americano($ 3) for my sister, and two Ham & Swiss Croissants($ 4 each) to share between the three of us! What I loved: Dark, chocolatey mocha! The buttery filled croissant totally satisfied our late-morning snack craving. Why I loved it: Easy to stop in and pick up a java and a snack on our day-long tour of LACMA. Plenty of seating(limited indoors, more outdoors) for parties of most sizes. Cost: Average to high($ 3 — $ 6 per espresso beverage)

I popped in here for a quick pick me up before the James Turell exhibit. I picked up a hot chai and an affogato. The affogato was ok. I felt the drink was way too sweet and the espresso was not bitter enough to equal out the drink. The hot chai was excellent! The milk was frothy and rich with a strong taste of chai, making the whole drink come together perfectly. The café also serves sandwiches and pastries, but they are WAY overpriced. $ 8 for packaged sandwich? $ 5 for a pastry? I could walk down the street and get something better for less!

This place has an awesome Green Tea Matcha Shakerato. Ever since I came back fro Japan, I’ve been searching for a place that serves Shakeratos(Espresso version here too) and this is one of them in LA. Great place to chill and relax after walking around LACMA and pondering what makes this art. Definitely a minus star though for the expensive baked goods. I believe some were gluten free and some were just expensive and gluten free.

Pretty average coffee place with some unique drinks. Tried 3 different drinks from their summer menu, and wasn’t particularly blown away by anything. Definitely a good place if you are dying for a caffeine fix and are at LACMA. If not, it’s best to skip over.

Not in the mood for waiting in line for food upstairs or forgot to grab lunch before heading to LACMA for the day? Perhaps you’re currently procaffeinating(procrastinating until you’ve had your coffee), C+M solves those problems! C+M is a small shop that not only has coffee, they also carry pastries, milk shakes and the like for a quick caffeine or sugar boost to carry on your LACMA filled day. Ordered lattes with Anthony L. and enjoyed sipping on them while admiring the contemporary space. I love the artwork showcased on the silvery wall. An analog clock displaying the percentage of the day that has gone by based on sunlight, it’s titled«Untitled(for the sun)» by Jim Campbell and is quite profound. Read more here: C+M carries Intelligensia beans and produces a rich and smooth latte, pretty good in my book and definitely gave us enough energy to make it through our LACMA visit.

Literally a place to grab a quick drink and go. I made my own arnold Palmer, and it was okay. It’s a really cool modern space with art on the wall as well. On a side note, you can’t bring any drinks inside the exhibit so I had to finish before I entered.
