Byul Gobchang

This is the place i always come back for gob chang and dae chang ! If you like gob chang and dae chang you have to try to eat this place! And they have a great promotion for now! Hurry up ! Lol

Stellar service. All workers are very kind and quick. They also have excellent quality intestines, provide a variety of sauces and have a wide range of drinks.

Amazing, as usual! We ordered the beef brisket, large intestine, and fried rice so yummy! I love the side dishes that come out, too! Non-​stop refills. The waitresses (call them ee-​moh) are the best; makes us always feel like family. My go-​to place, so much better than ahgahssi. A must, if you’re in town!

Best Korean intestine restaurant in LA. I like it because they do not marinate the intensities like other places. I recommend the large intestine over the small.

I came here with my family tuesday night. I have to say best korean bbq in korea town. One thing i dont like about this place is its so busy and there is always long wait. Other thN that its amazibg. All the servers r super nice. Speicaly My server name was kathy. She was reallly kind very helpful through whole my dinner. She makes me wanna come back here. If u like intestine and if u r looking for good service, i recommend thus place. Byul gob chang is best! Also when u guys come here look for kathy!!!

This place is amazing and service is great and better than other places meat quality is perfect than most kbbq places they also are nice to people and cow tongue is the best must pick cow tongue melts in your mouth and banchan meaning korean side dishes also great simple but good must try and come here to eat delicious meat!

Service is great. The ladies are super nice. They give you aprons to protect your clothes. They also serve pomegranate vinegar with soju. Been coming to this place for years and I always get the intestine combo. :)

This place delivers intestines that are probably the closest to the intestines served in Korea. Price is a bit in the steeper side but the quality of the food is worth every penny. What’s even better is that if you check in on Unilocal,you get a FREE bottle of soju and beer (for dem soju bombs) and if you write a review like I am right now, you also get a FREE plate of beef brisket. Wide variety of side dishes such as steamed egg and cheese corn and they also play Dodgers games if you’re about that.
Tl;dr — good quality, good vibes, awesome place to dine

Came here this past Friday night around 11pm. I really wanted to tey Hae Jae Chon (all you can eat) but it was super pack even at 11pm! What a bummer… but whatever my parents and I were hungry after that long drive to LA so we just came here. We got seated right away and they gave us the menu. We ordered one of the set menu (3^rd one?) which had a drink included. It was enough for 3 people but if you’re a big eater than this may not be the place for you since it’s limited amount to of meat given. I just remember there was a big fat steak that came at the end and it was so juicy! My mouth drools thinking about it. They gave us side dishes which was good and a bowl of salad. The waitress did all the cooking for us which was nice. On the side of the grill there was cheese and corn which was super yummy! You gotta eat those quickly bc the cheese is gonna burn fast. Our total bill was about $ 90 or so.

YOU MUST COME HERE! As a first timer in LA and staying in Koreatown everyone kept telling me that I needed to try the Koren BBQ. I did not try the gopchang because I don’t like intestines. However, I had their steak meat which is cooked the same way as the gopchang and it was AMAZING. Everything about this place was perfect.
Decoration & Inside: You will feel like if you are transported in time to Korea. This place is a genuine gem. Everything is written in Korean. The menu, the signs and the posters. The atmosphere here is great and super cozy. They give you aprons to use while you eat.
Food: Delicious and good portions. It is kinda like a hibachi concept. They have flat rates for their different specialties ($ 64) and it includes a big bottle of their imported beer. The waitresses are super nice and efficient.

Intestine lovers, stop right here! Byul (Star) Gobchang gives the boot to its all-​you-​can-​eat Ktown brethren. You just don’t see this kind of quality at AYCE. So get ready for some portion control and enjoy some of the best gobchang in town.
Don’t be put off by this super-​jammed strip mall on Sixth Street. It’s always pandemonium over there, as it’s home to a super popular chicken place (Kyo Chon), Korean BBQ place (Hae Jang Chon), a new crazy ice cream place (CottonHi) and some fun shops. Valet is $ 2, and there is another lot across the street.
Gobchang is cow intestine, and this place does it right — super clean and super good. Get the gobchang combo with thick (my favorite) and thin intestine; it includes a beer if you are ready to let loose. Feeling lazy? This stuff takes forever to cook, it’s true. But here at Byul, the ladies will do the cooking for you.
The banchan (side dishes) will kill you here! Because they’re so good that is. You know how the food is cooked on a grill on your table. At Byul, there is a compartment running all the way around the grill, which your server will fill with cheese corn on one-​half, and egg & cheese & Spam on the other — oh man, it’s so good. Don’t fill up on bread as my mom used to say, and this cheese goodness is the Kpop version of bread. Want more? Just ask.
