I visited the shop in the Summer. I think the prices and quality are good but the style selection is very limited. For the styles they have there is a huge range of very good quality fabrics and pillow options.

Bella and the quality of the product are the reason to shop here. She knows her stuff and when we ran into a problem with the delivery service, she made it right. Only reason for four instead of five stars was the bumpy delivery.

My husband and I were walking on Ventura Blvd. and saw a couch we liked in the window, it was kismet as we were thinking about replacing our old one.
It happened to be the opening day for BuildASofa, Bella is the manager.
The product is made in the USA and the construction is solid.
You can choose fabrics and customize sizes and configurations.
We were able to take several fabric samples home to see how they looked with our existing carpet and paint. This was helpful with making a decision.
Bella has experience with interior design.
Just had the couch and chair delivered today and the quality matched what was shown in the store.
If you are familiar with Design Within Reach this company offers a product with style priced within reach.

Was so excited to discover this new gem in Sherman Oaks!
The quality of the furniture here is unbelievable! Designer looks, and very high-​end quality sofas are sold at reasonable prices, attainable for a diverse market of customers. What’s best is that the customer can build a piece exactly as they wish. The showroom offers much inspiration for this by the color schemes that are currently displayed.
No need to feel overwhelmed, however. Bella, the store manager, is brilliant at what she does, and is clearly passionate about furniture and design, and making sure each order is fit to the customer’s liking.
All in all, this was a very positive experience, and we couldn’t be more excited about working with Build-​A-​Sofa again in the future!
