I’ve experienced a great experience with Body Builders Automotive !
I got a car accident with my Mustang. Not so bad but still something on the side.
Eric take me in charge and very quick I got back my car as new !
Thank you very much for the great work and time you spend on it !
If I got another incident, which I pray not to haha, I will definitely choose this garage instead of another !

Was recently in a collision and was led to Body Builders Automotive. Eric, the main man over there was incredibly helpful and tremendously insightful. He took complete care of the situation, followed up with constant phone calls, and was precise every step of the way. This is not only the best body shop I’ve been to in LA, I would honestly go as far as to say this is the best body shop I’ve ever dealt with. This guy really knows what he’s doing and is so reliable in the process. My car came back perfectly fixed, spotlessly cleaned, and ready to go. The best of the best right here.

I’m an avid Unilocal user, and this is my first review for good reason.
Eric at Body Builders made my first trip to an LA body shop way more smooth and pleasant than I could have imagined. As soon as I pulled up, he smiled and examined my 2007 Toyota Solara Convertible SLE — after rear ending someone, my grill and bumper were bashed in – and told me he wouldn’t be able to give me a good estimate without looking under the hood, which was broken and wouldn’t open. I appreciated his honesty after going to multiple other dealerships for an estimate, because I’m sure they underquoted me without checking under the hood. I ended up needing a new air conditioner cooler and radiator, so the other quotes would have been way off.
We then proceeded to call my insurance company so they could come down and make an appraisal, and right after that Eric walked me half a block to Enterprise and told the guys there to set me up and he was covering the cost.
All in all, I drove the FREE rental away less than 30 minutes after pulling up to the shop. He took the cost of the rental off of my insurance deductible, so I ended up saving $ 300.
I got my car back good as new, with a few little extras included (giving me a new side mirror that had fallen off awhile ago, buffing up some other minor scrapes). He also gave me his card and told me to call him anytime if I needed a tow or more work done. He even stayed a little after closing to accomodate my student schedule so I could pick my car up.
Can’t say enough good things about this place. I am pretty inexperienced with body shops so I can’t really speak to comparative pricing, but he definitely deserves the $ 60/​hr in labor and it shows on my car. Definitely go see Eric at Body Builders. You’re in good hands.

Just used these guys for the first time and couldn’t have had a better experience. They’ve had their shop in this spot for 20 years, which I figure is actually more important than a good review. After getting many estimates from friend’s references for body work, I found these guys on google. I had been backed into and had one major dent I was looking to get fixed, there were some other minor scratches and biffs on the car as well. Some of the other body shops gave me quotes on the biffs for up to $ 450 extra. These guys not only gave me the best price on the major dent, but threw in the minor scratches totally free.
When I dropped the car off we realized we’d misunderstood each other on how many days they would keep the car. 6 to 7 «business» days meaning I would have to rent a car for potentially 2 days longer than I thought. I explained this to them but didn’t expect any change in plan, they have to keep the car as long as they have to.
I got a call from them 3 days later, ‘the car will be ready tomorrow, we didn’t want you to have to rent a car for so many days’
The car looks beautiful, better than new. They went above and beyond. Hope I don’t need more body work done anytime soon, but I’d recommend these guys to anyone.
