Have had lunch here twice this week and I can honestly say they serve a nice tasting sandwich. First try I had the Cheese Steak Sandwich which came on a nice toasted rye bread with a nice portion of steak and green peppers with onions. Second time I had the pastrami sandwich on a roll. The pastrami meat is delicious and thin, but this time the portion was not a lot. The price was under $ 7 and I can’t really complain. The sandwiches satisfied my lunch hunger. Try them out.

This is my go to spot when I can’t decide what to eat and want something cheap(for downtown) and tasty. Sandwiches are great and reasonably priced. My favorite sandwich is the turkey on squaw, and don’t forget to add onions. I’m also a big fan of the tuna melt, which is also delicious. If you’re hungry earlier in the day, Paul’s has one of, if not, the best breakfast burrito in town. If you’re around in the morning and hungry you have to try it. Finally, the service is great. I wish I knew the lady up front’s name, but she is always nice and after 2 – 3 times she’ll know you order. There can be a line at times, so it never hurts to call in your order. Usually I never end up waiting more than a few minutes for a sandwich even if there is a line.

Had lunch at Big Paul’s not too long ago. Great sandwiches! Stopped in this morning and got Paul’s special. Two eggs, bacon, hash brown and toast for six bucks! Tastes great. As an added bonus Big Paul himself was at the register. Super cool guy. Very positive and generous. Stop by today.

I have to say, this place is consistently good! My favorite is the Philly Cheese Steak Melt! I also love their pickle station because I’m obsessed with pickles!

Just went to this spot after all the great reviews and man was I disappointed. I kid you not, it looks like a 5 year old made my sandwich and very bland. I had to pay extra for cheese… Wtf. More expensive than subway and less taste. Will never go back.

They’ve never done me wrong! And their breakfast burritos are the best. Try adding avocado! And you can call it in on your way there! Free pickles at lunch! Can’t go wrong with Paul’s

BLT’s are on point! My fave one stop sammie shop to get my usual: BLTA — Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado(no mayo) on wheat with mustard — toasted. :) Try it! —– GETTHEBREAKFASTBURRITOSHERE! Hashbrowns Salsa American Cheese 2 eggs — choice between bacon or sausage (You won’t regret it!)

Spicy, cheesy, and a bit greasy. My breakfast burrito at Paul’s was very good. The restaurant – more of a food stand/kiosk, really – makes a great breakfast burrito. I had the sausage one which had egg, sausage, American cheese, potato/hash browns, and a green chile salsa. Give it a try.

I have eaten at Paul’s 3 times now. My first experience wasn’t the greatest only because I was disappointed to discovered that my BLT was served on un-toasted bread. That can be easily remedied with a simple request that they toast the bread though so it’s certainly not something I would hold against them. I have been back twice since then, once for a breakfast burrito and once for a Baja Beef sandwich. Both were delicious! The best part of Paul’s though is the prices. There isn’t a single menu item that is over $ 7.00 which is hard to come by downtown! As long as they keep their pricing low I will be back over and over and over again. Thumb’s Up, Big Paul! Good food at good prices is a winning combination!

This place is great for breakfast and lunch. Their breakfast burritos are great. I used to like getting mine with half bacon and half sausage but she started charging $ 1 for extra meat. Call in ahead and she’ll have it ready for you.

Word to the mofo… Big Paul’s Sammiches beats all the corporate crap anyday!!! Subway, togos, quiznos et al sucks compared to Big P’s. Anything grilled here is yummy. Specifically, the Grilled tuna melt is my go to grub when I am ambitious to be vegetarian for the day or half the day. Vegetarian as in avoiding animals with more than four legs. The food is simple. There is no fluff to it. Generous portions of the main item, nice, crispy, clean, fresh veggies and cheese. If tuna not your thing, try the club sammich. Simple, no fuss. Turkey(or ham), bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese, mayo(i do not use mayo, dry sammich eater here), and onions. Many of us being in a professional environment I highly, with emphasis, do not recommend onions or garlic for lunch. Another huuuuuuuuuuge plus is the fountain soda, free refill factor for whales(or camels or walruses) like me(people who consume mass quantity of liquids). All in all, $ 10 for a meal that should keep you well-nourished til dinna time xD

Popped in here on my lunch. About one o’clock. Wasn’t very busy which is nice for downtown. Though I’m sure that has more to do with my timing, and not their customer base. Alright let’s get into this. Their menu is pretty small, kinda simple, which I like because for some reason the only decision I have trouble making is what to eat. I order a ham n’ turkey on a roll. With cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, mustard, and a lil’ thousand island, had em’ warm it up. I like my sandwiches with just about anything and everything. It was delicious! The bread was super soft with the right amount of crispy, very colorful, the meats were also real meat, which is nice. No Sysco, compressed nastiness. I have a weakness for shredded lettuce. The Intel down side is they actually forgot the onion. :( My all time favorite vegetable. Yeah I know, gross right? All in all, I can’t mark em down for forgetting the onion. I dropped about $ 14, on the masterpiece, keep in mind I added bacon, had chips and a large drink. In the words of our former governor, «I’ll be back.» Going to have to try their breakfast burritos. It’s in a food court with a few others spots, if you’re on the look out.

I always come here for the breakfast burritos. They’re pretty decent size normally, but I always get double chicken breast added and double hash browns so it comes out huge. They use all fresh ingredients and the salsa is pretty bomb too. They serve it to you piping hot so you might wanna wait a couple minutes before eating it.

Came here for lunch since its close to my work and was craving a sandwich. So I decided to go with the hot beef wrap with chili peppers and avocado with provolone cheese. The wrap turned out to be just okay but because the lady was so nice and considerate she made my experience their much more satisfying. Although the sandwich was not the best the service def. made up for it. So I will be back to try out their other items :)

It’s inside the Food Court off Wilshire Blvd. Counter lady speaks English and gets customers in/out quick. 2 stars I ordered the«ultimate turkey» without even looking at the ingredients. I mean how weird could turkey be. Well it was basically Thanksgiving in a wrap. Cream cheese spread, cranberry sauce, not very good turkey(salty and wet), sprouts wrapped in a cold tortilla. The pics of their hot sandwiches look great but I was going for healthy which was a fail considering all the cream cheese and cranberry sauce in the ultimate turkey. Disapointed.

I ate here for the first time today based on the Unilocal reviews and my sandwhich definitely lived up to the hype. I had the Italian and it was perfect, just packed with meat and didn’t get soggy at all during my 10 minute walk back to the office. The sandwhich itself is probably 4 stars but I have no choice but to bump them up based on how friendly the service is, the fact that they take credit cards, and most importantly there is a table where I can load up on extra peppers and stuff. When you add all of this up it doesn’t get much better. This was a roller coaster of emotions for me because on one hand I’m so thrilled with my sandwhich but on the other hand I’m so pissed I just discovered this place now!!! I used to work a block away and now i’m up Bunker Hill so it’s a bit of a walk but totally worth it. Yum.

A small sandwich shop inside a little food court area in DTLA. Big Paul’s has all the standard sandwiches one would crave for lunch! There are meat and vegetarian options. The cashier is friendly and takes your order with a smile. That’s always nice, especially during the workweek. They have daily specials(I got the tuna special with a medium soda and small bag of chips) that are under $ 10. Actually, everything on the menu is under $ 10. Off to the side by the soda machine, Big Paul offers peppercinis, pickles, etc. perfect to go with your sandwich. A coworker of mine raves about the breakfast burrito and that’s what I’ll be trying next. The area where you order can get a little tight but there is plenty of places to sit. The sitting area is shared with the rest of the food court(there’s an upstairs too!).
