The best! I love their Israeli breakfast, their pita, bagels, and especially their fresh pretzels. I just tried their pretzel and it changed my life. Also, they’re open til midnight so it’s great for a late night snack with friends. Very friendly service as well.

Can’t believe they just jumped the price of their Pitas by 50%??? They did not even bother to put a sing to let their costumers know about it. I am very disappointed! Never stepping in their again!

The food here is very good. When I come I get at least half a dozen burecas to take home with me. Half for me and half for my family. My favorite one is the pizza. I also adore the salmon with pasta. It is cooked to perfection everytime, and very soft. Fresh quality. I have tried a handful of different items, and liked them all except a few exceptions which come with my own personal preference for certain things. The service could be better, but not so bad either.

Love the toastees at Bibi’s, this is a place that you just get a craving for and have to have. It’s warm comfort food that is cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. If you are in Pico Robertson and need a quick dairy lunch, you will discover a new favorite if you stop at Bibi’s.

I’m sure if I come back for breakfast when they have fresh bread out, I’d easily give it a 4. But I came dinner, and they didn’t seem to have many pastries out. I was bummed out, I wanted a cinnamon roll so bad. But they didn’t disappoint with their pizza, it was soo good. Maybe one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Food therefore, I’d give a 4. On the other hand, service was kinda crappy. We got our food and had to get up to ask for forks, water, and even our drink, which they forgot to give to us. I’d usually understand if they were busy, but really we were the only table there. The cashier was obviously just standing there, he could have been a little more accommodating. I’d still come back though, hopefully our service is a little better…

First off, thank you Bibi’s for being the only in Pico to understand that there are people out there who like to eat out on week nights at midnight! We need more places to be open that late, but at least this place is. Their personal pizzas are delicious and so are their bourekas and bakery items. Just one thing that was a bit inconvenient… They send out coupon papers to houses and I received one and decided to use it along with my order the next time I went. They accepted it but reluctantly even though it wasn’t expired or anything. As a regular customer, it actually made me feel uncomfortable that they very obviously did not want to give the small discount even though they sent out the offer. The service is good and fast overall. There’s parking conveniently in the back. The place is nice and clean, reminds me of Israel. Their Israeli food is really on point, and especially their shakshouka and sambusak. Definitely recommend it.

I would recommend the personal oven pizza if your hungry but not my fave breakfast spot everything seemed too doughy and they didn’t have the option I originally ordered from online of the feta stuffed puff pastry.

I came with my family and it was our first one here. I ordered a sabich sandwich. As someone who has had the same dish in many places, this was one of my favorites. The staff was friendly, kind, and efficient. Overall, great experience!

Not one to nit-pick and leave negative comments but the service here is terrible. Condescending and an attitude for no reason… For pizza that looks like it came out of chuckie cheese? Thanks but never again.

Truly authentic Israeli/Moroccan(I think) food. Because its home made in the huge open fire oven. Burrekas are amazing, the toastee, The iced coffee too! Just takes a while to get your order because its home made. Also try the garlic sauce with everything. 4.5 stars

Being in LA, I figured I would get a chance to have a sabich, which is an Israeli/Iraqi dish that I definitely have never had in Chicago– where I’m from. It’s generally not too common, even in Israel. The café was busy and everything looked great. I must say, the sabich was solid as well. That being said, I’m glad to see quite a few people throughout the history of this page mention the snarky customer service. I think that’s an understatement. The bakery was busy, and things were hectic, but the cashier was extremely rude and snarky. I made a small request to have a glass of water not from the washing station(G-d forbid) and was talked to like I was insane before given a cup of water. I don’t appreciate having to explain a benign idiosyncrasy over a cup of water. I noticed the same rude, curtness to most other customers as well. Perhaps it was a bad day/busy rush hour, but I’d live without sabich and anything else anyone recommends here if I am ever in LA again.

(Don’t forget to check in when you come here to take advantage of the 10% off check in deal). I came by this little bakery café last Wednesday with my husband around 10 pm. We parked on the street(free parking after 8 pm I believe) and walked inside(this place is located right next door to Jeff’s Gourmet Kosher Sausage Factory). No one greeted us initially as we looked at the items in the display case. After a few minutes, an employee asked us what we would like. I told her that this was our first time coming here and so I will need more time to decide what I want. I told her that I was just here for baked goods and not for a meal. She recommended getting the chocolate chip cookies and that she can warm them up in the oven for us(as she said that is the best way to have them). Taking her recommendation, I ordered: 2 Chocolate Chip Cookies($ 1.50 each, prior to tax) — Love warm cookies, especially ones with chocolate in it! This cookie was tender and sweet, really made for a nice little late night dessert. 2 Bibi’s Pretzels($ 1.50 prior to tax) — This bagel pretzel was tasty and had that nice chew. Loved the flavor of this pretzel bagel, as it is the same familiar pretzel bread I am used to that I have had at other kosher bakeries/restaurants. 2 Potato & Mushroom Bourekas($ 2.50 prior to tax) — Bourekas are small hand pies traditionally made of phyllo dough stuffed with some kind of filling. Very commonly consumed in Israel and the Middle East. I picked the potato and mushroom filled version and really enjoyed the flaky crust. This baked good is best served warm. But the filling was little bland. Although I do like mashed potato and mushrooms, I think this filling could have been better with added cheese and/or roasted red bell peppers were added. — — — — — — — - (Total= $ 10.31 after tax and 10% Unilocal Check in discount) The employee who helped us asked if we would like any of our other baked goods to be heated in their oven if we would like to consume them now(I told her the cookies were enough for us since we had just came from having dinner nearby). I would like to come back here again and try some of the other baked goods and maybe even have breakfast or lunch here too(there are some tables and chairs here). This place is quite vegetarian friendly(no meat is served and just to let you know that with strict kosher dietary laws, meat and dairy cannot be consumed in the same meal. And so this particular eatery establishment does not serve any meat but they do serve food items made with eggs and diary).

Hummus is as good as ever, as is the pita. Remains one of my favorite places to grab a bite when I’m in the area.

Surprisingly, it’s hard to get cheap Jewish food even though my people are stereotyped as «cheap». The food is cheap like I just said but it’s also very tasty. It’s hard also to find Israeli drinks and they had some there even though Pico-Robertson has a lot of places that sell them. Still…

I would have gave it 5 stars but the Barakas where not fresh or hot. It might have been because I was there at the end of the day. I may have to revisit to let you guys know that. But there eggplant sandwich was really good.

Okay after spending a good chunk of time here I am prepared to make an honest review. I have had most items on the menu finally! My personally favorite is the tuna melt, followed by the pizza, then comes the baked good. I love the staff, friendly, according, and extremely caring. Dan is by far one of the friendliest people I have met. He gets to know the customers by name. Also check in here and you get 10% off! I honestly can say I am yet to have a bad meal from here. From the breakfast, to the dinner, all the way to desserts I’m always pleased!

This place is amazing! Dan’s(the owner) apron says Dan the Man and it’s absolutely correct!!! I am not Jewish but it didn’t matter. I felt like I was eating from my families kitchen! Very comfortable, very welcoming. The food, well that is the reason I can and will be the reason I come back again and again. Dan is a really cool guy too! The prices are so cheap! I recommend everything. For the next two weeks they have special Hanukkah donuts that were awesome! The bread is cooked fresh and the ingredients are fresh. I don’t know what else to say. Just come get some!

Hard time parking, but I was diligent and finally found one in back. Walk inside, and yep — it’s a bakery. A small store front, with a small front display case has about 20 delicious bready morsels, and a few tables. Yeah, yeah, a few cakes… but it’s mostly a bread bakery. Not what I wanted or came in for, but everything looked amazing, and I went for it. Beyond the display counter, a pizza oven, then beyond that — is where all the baking magic happens. 1. Pretzel Bagel with Salt — chewy, not a good texture.(3.0 stars) 2. Sesame Bagel — Not enough salt, boring and texture issue for a bagel.(2.5 stars) 3. Jerusulem Bagel — like a HUGE sesame bagel, too bready.(3.5 stars) 4. Chocolate Covered Sprinkled Donut — good chocolate covering, but donut cake was dry and tasted day old.(1.5 stars) 5. Pizza Bourekas — Dry. Lifeless.(2.0 stars) 6. Potato Bourekas — the opposite is true. Terrific texture, tons of taste, albeit a little odd potato flavor, but overall, great.(4.5 stars) Not enough to keep me coming back. But, on the other hand, they also offer sandwiches, salads, and pizza. Maybe one more trip!

I wanted to try this place for the novelty. Never been to an Israeli deli before. In any case, I got the Sabiche sandwich. It’s basically an amazing pita stuffed with cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, eggplant, hummus, and a curry sauce. So refreshing. My friend got the Israeli breakfast combo. So good! The omelette is delicious, as was the side salad. It’s also super cheap. The only issue here is that it’s pretty slow service… but if you’re not in a hurry, then the specialty items here are worthwhile.
