Berri’s Kitchen

I recently discovered this new dining gem while directing a play nearby. Logging some long hours at the theater and needing some chow to get me through the last few hours of tech rehearsals, I tried Berri’s. I liked it so much I brought the cast back after our opening performance that same night. The pizzas and flatbreads are wonderful, as are the truffle fries, which I have never ordered, but have enviously sampled from others at my table. It’s great food, and very reasonably priced. The service personalized and friendly. I’ve now eaten at Berri’s eight times in just the last month, and have loved it every time.

Just randomly ordered for the first time from this place. I love their pizza! Will def order again (:

This place is absolutely amazing. My girlfriend and I are extreme pizza lovers. Her dad owned a pizza place that we lived above so we got to try everything you could imagine. Berries pizza is the best pizza in la hands down. It’s the place we’ve been searching for! Fresh toppings, great cheese and brilliant crust. If you love pizza you must come here!

Great food. You can taste the quality of the fresh ingredients. One of the best pizza places I have eaten at.
I’ve tried pizzas and salads, all of which were delicious.
I have dined-​in and had it delivered.
The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and the delivery arrived in an acceptable amount of time (~40 min) and the food was just right (not too hot and not too cold).

Hey this spot was good for me because the good pizza and sandwich. Now is PERFECT :), they have now BUFFALO AND BBQ WINGS,(delicious btw) FRIES AND BEER. THANK YOU BERRI, the new spot for me and my friends. Tip: buffalo wings and chicken pesto sandwich with Fries. And open until 4am

This place is in walking distance to my work so I decided to check it out since it has pretty good reviews. The parking lot can be a little crazy and the surrounding area is grimey, it’s in a strip mall with a ton of other business on the corner of La Brea and Sunset. We ordered the Santa Fe which is just a BBQ Chicken pizza but not the best. The BBQ sauce was not very flavorful and too watery. *The Goat Cheese and Portabella was very tasty.* Overall, everything was good but the flavors needed to be amped up. I wont be running back here but the service was good and fast and since it’s so close to work I will definitely return.

So I taught I might give it another chance with Berries since it’s been 2 months that I haven’t been here since they messed up my order 5 times in the past… So I went today again and guess what??? They messed up my order again lol this guy’s or cooks or whatever you call them need to learn how do there damn job… BERRIES MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO DO BETTER JOB AT HIRING COOKS

High quality tasty food! Open late and they deliver. I’ve had their salads sandwiches and their pizza and it is all nomtastic.

5 stars all around. No complaints! They gave me a free dessert after I had to wait for my pizza. I’m a complainer, and the wait wasn’t even that bad! Amazing customer service.

There are times when you wish you could experience a meal that is nothing like what you find in every other restaurant. This place fulfills that wish. The flatbread pizza and personal pizzas are nothing short of genius. The ingredients are fresh and the cooks are very attentive to your tastebuds.
If you don’t know what to select on your first, second, or third visit, just ask the cooks. They will never steer you wrong. By the way, the hours are perfect. I’ve only seen places like this open until 4am when I’m traveling international. That tells me the owners value quality time after a long day at work.

Goodness. where to even start!
I’m new in the area so finding new, tasty places to eat seems to be my new hobby. My boyfriend and I were walking the Hollywood Boulevard strip and we started to get hungry and craved some pizza.
We checked out Unilocal and although there were quite a few options, Berri’s seemed like the best fit based on reviews, tips, and options!
We walked to the location and upon entrance it was empty, which was nice for us because we could use some peace and quiet.
We were greeted by the friendly staff and the very kind gentleman helped us figure out what to get. We asked him for his recommendation on pizza and he suggested the Berri’s Special Pizza, which my boyfriend ordered. I love portobello mushrooms so I ordered the Goat Cheese and Portobello Mushroom Pizza. Plus they have happy hour and you can add a beer for $ 4 ($ 8 regular price). Perfect!
Let me tell you guys, $ 11 for a personal sized pizza… boyyyyyy was it personal (and I don’t mean size). The size was perfect, I have a big appetite so it was perfect for me.
I was surprised at how absolutely beautiful and delicious the pizza looked, professionally made!
I was excited to try mine because normally I’m not a fan of thin crust.

It was love at first bite. I mean seriously!
The Goat Cheese and Portobello pizza is the best pizza I have ever had in my life to date, and I’ve had a lot!
That first bite of luscious garlic and oil, melts in your mouth along with the goat cheese and portobello mushrooms. Like luxurious garlic bread pizza.
After that slice, I tried my boyfriend’s which was the Berri’s Special Pizza with shrimp and prosciutto. It was soooo delightfully savory, and the arugula was a great pair-​up for freshness.
Compliments to the people who work there because this is a place I will not only constantly come back to, but bring over guests to as well.

Popped in here last night for some late night eats. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich abt 4min after my friends. One group of friends are their entire pizza, other group of friends finished their sandwiches and I’m still waiting for my pulled pork. So I eat with everyone watching. It was awesome.
Bread is great. My friends’ sandwich looked great and the lobster pizza is the jam. Just don’t order the pulled pork if you wanna eat with your peeps! lol

Fast and legit pizza joint. Super fresh and delicious. I would say though the lobster pizza is more like a lobster bisque sauce with shrimp, so if you’re expecting actual lobster on the pizza think otherwise. $ 19 for the bisque was a bit over the top but I’d say if you need to try at least 1 pizza here get that at least once to say you’ve tried it. All the other pizzas are winners so have it at people!

This was the hardest pizza phone order ever! I had to hang up because they made the order so difficult. I ordered large, then the guy said we only have 12 inch, then I ordered half pepperoni and combo, then he said we don’t do half orders, then he proceeded to say what do you mean by combo? we don’t have combo… I got so irritated by the end of the call I had to hang up.

I ordered delivery to my hotel room for myself and the kids. Arrived 30 minutes later, nice and hot and superb tasting. On taste they will be around for many years. My only disappointment is when I called the next night they were closed — Thanksgiving which I guess one can excuse!

The concept and atmosphere are great and their pizzas looked very good, but my $ 10 gourmet Napa deli sandwich with Italian meats was disappointedly skimpy with meat portions (one thin layer each of three different meats). Compared to Fat Sal’s, the Gelson’s supermarket deli or a traditional Italian deli, they put hardly any lunch meat on the sandwich. Granted they did use fresh mozzarella and delicious bakery made whole wheat panini-​like bread, but if they were worried about cost I would’ve been willing to pay another dollar or two and had a sandwich with a little more substance.

Yikes. If you give 5 stars it goes all red and military.
Anyway, Berri’s Kitchen. It’s on a hell hole of a block in the strip mall to end all strip malls (if only!). Random people in the area of my desk have taken it upon themselves to stop mid stride and say something like «Have you tried Berri’s?» I don’t look up. «You haven’t?!»
After no less than a baker’s dozen of people cornered me to discuss Berri’s in as many days, I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Berri Original. Because, if this place was the second coming, than this should give me eternal youth or something.
Well. It was good. Very good. In a town where pizza is made in a cloud of meh, there is something refreshingly awesome about this pie. Light, yet rich. Not greasy, and nice hits of salt and tangs of fresh tomatoes and a crust that is (it’s all about the crust… am I right? HuH?), is pretty close to perfect for what it is. This place is set up kind of like a Chipotle. It’s not fancy. It’s basically fast food, and that’s why it is what it is.
Good job, Berri. Whoever the hell you are.

Omg!!! Just left feeling so happy and full! Was driving to get a late night meal… And all that is open is fast food.
The bright lights caught my eyes and I saw they were opened (opened till 4am) I was welcomed with very sweet and friendly staff! Bonus they have a security guard keeping an eye on things which helped me feel safe since its late in Hollywood!
I ordered the cut salad… It was so fresh… So lovingly made… And that dressing! I could bathe in it! So tasty!!! My boyfriend ordered the works pizza… Again super fresh and delicious! Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! I can’t say enough good things about this place! I can’t wait to go back!

Freshness of pizzas has achieved a new level at newly opened Berri’s Kitchen. Considering the lack of good pizzerias in this areas, this was an absolute necessity to have it, and thankfully it’s a good one. Since they been opened the past few days, I’ve manages to come here 3 times and bring 3 groups of friends. The food is tasty, and you can custom make your own pizzas. The open kitchen concept also adds another layer of transparency, which makes a huge difference. I’m looking forward to coming back here again.
