In terms of food, I love how they pay attention to their menu. We came here once and we fell in love with their menu. Service is okay. Couldn’t go out today so it was my first time to deal with delivery. Pleasant service. Food came on time. It was great.

Lobster Pizza– what can I say!!! This place has by the best lobster pizza. That is the only pizza I have ordered from here. Actually, that is the only thing I have ordered from here. Can’t go wrong. I love the fact that this place is open till 4am and plus they deliver till 4am too. Sucks that if you don’t live in the area, you can’t take advantage of that. One thing I noticed when I went last night is that they added some cool art work and brought on a DJ, yes that have a DJ booth by the restrooms. Crazy huh– I thought it was cool, but at some point the music got really loud that I couldn’t really here my friends talk. That was a bit annoying. Overall, the place has good food, great customer service and the owner is always so welcoming and friendly. If you haven’t been to Berri’s — you better go the next time you are out after 2am. You will not be disappointed. Make sure to order the infamous lobster pizza. Oh ya and they aren’t stingy with sauces, which is a plus. You want ranch they will bring out 2 – 3 ranches. :)

Walked in and remembered I’ve been here before on a drunk night. A lady always come in here selling roses… Which I remember having plenty of. Lol Our server came off flirty. It was 3 of us girls, so I see why. Overall service was great. The knots came with pesto on the side. Love the garlic knots! The pasta was a cream sauce with chicken and sun dried tomatoes. It was very good and I savored every bite. The ravioli with the green sauce. Wow the sauce is to die for and paired well with the bread! Lobster pizza is what I remember that is popular from what I hear. Creamy red sauce with pieced of lobster. It was really good with their ranch. Very thin crust. However it was the last thing we chose to finish, but didn’t. The check for party of 3 had 20% gratuity already factored in. The server did not point that out to us at all. It was a good meal. Pretty pricey. Worst thing the music was annoyingly odd and completely did my head in. It was repetitive and fast. Like a ticking clock, giving me major anxiety.

Berri’s is one of those places that you must go to every time that you’re in town(if you’re visiting in my case). It’s a late night go to spot for many especially after a night of clubbing. Most famous for their lobster pizza. I’m not a fan of lobster so I usually order the hot wings or the steak and mashed potatoes. On my most recent visit, we arrived as they were closing, but they still seated us, they informed us that they were out of cheese so that meant no lobster pizza for the BF, I ordered the steak and potatoes which later arrived to perfection. The food was awesome and our server was very tentative. Once again, Berri’s did not disappoint minus running out of cheese, but oh well, things happen. We will continue to return. … We actually ended up going again the following night.

Berri’s actually has an interesting menu when one decides to venture past the lobster pizza. Although I find it difficulty every time, I have tried a few things on their menu but always keep coming back for the lobster pizza. But, when I think about it, the pizza itself is definitely not cheap. And from what I observe, the lobster is probably somehow mashed into the vodka/pink sauce, which serves as the base of the pizza. How much lobster are we really dealing with here? What appears on top of the pizza are pieces of shrimp, not lobster. So while it is delicious and tasty, I’m always on a hunt to find chunks and pieces of lobster… still looking. Although their pastas are equally as delicious as the lobster pizza(their alfredo sauce is BOMB), they do hike their prices in the wee hours of the night. I’m sure their restaurants thrives mainly from the proceeds it earns in the middle of the night, but the prices are significantly more than what they are during the day for lunch. However, the biggest and most noteworthy pro of Berri’s is, of all late-night eats, Berri’s is probably the most solid option. It’s trendy, always attracts a vibrant crowd, usually those who have just ended a night of clubbing, and it’s always vibin’. It’s definitely not your average shitty diner. It’s more of a high-end late night, good food establishment. If I’m hungry after a night out, Berri’s is the perfect way to end the night.

I was charged $ 12 for delivery on a $ 20 order, I called to inquire and was told it was actually $ 15 for delivery and I was given a discount. When all is said and done, I paid $ 34 for a cold burger and cold soup and Berri’s Café made no apologies.

This place has really good food! Only downside is I ordered delivery from here through postmates, had 4 different drivers cancel on picking my order up, finally they got one driver to come all the way from Sherman Oaks and I’m in Los Feliz, by the time my food got here it was kind of worthless but i still ate it and it was pretty good for sitting out for so long.

As it appears, I really, really can’t confess to being«berri» impressed by Berri’s Café. Located on 3rd just a hop, jump and skip away from the Beverly Center Mall, I’ve gathered this place to have been somewhat of a neighborhood icon for years now and while they boast meal options just shy of 24⁄7 — I’m still not«berri» sold on their having perfected their craft… and they’re prolonged tenure is certifiably no testament to their having gotten their act(s) together. Dined here late night(12am) this past Saturday evening(technically Sunday morning) and provided you find yourself within this particular portion of town late night(between 11pm and 3−4am), I’ve conjectured that a visit to Berri’s is likely to include the following: I. A diverse cataclysm of female celebrity wanna’ be’s toting their high-end Fendi, Gucci, Prada and Burberry bags all the while balancing said bags with their just as over-priced implants as they simultaneously conjure strategies on how to remain afloat while«being noticed» hiking upon their 6 inch stilettos. ^ ^ This experience is rendered all the more comical as they attempt to slurp from their straws between their collagen filled lips. II. How impossible it is to bypass the complete plethora of D-bags pulling up to valet just to enter and/or commence in the process of molesting said self-proclaimed«hot chicks» w/their rehearsed let alone filtered pick up lines… III. How absurdly loud it is inside of this place. I mean WTF? Is this Abercrombie & Fitch? Jeez!!! As diners seek to embrace the ambiance… I’m actually compelled to replicate if not expound on fellow Elite, Bita H.‘s «words of wisdom». * * * * THEREAIN’T EVENNOTYPEOFBOOZEHERE!!! * * * * Call me a lush, but if I’m spending upwards of $ 25 and $ 30.00 on flatbread, I wana’ leave faded and feelin’ X-rated and at least buzzed enough to forget how much my tab was! I was nothing short of disheartened when made aware that a simple glass of Riesling wasn’t so much as an option … …and while the smoothies provided me a bit of an energy boost — the buffalo shrimp and flatbread were both just… well,…FLAT and I truly can’t fathom myself returning, simply due to the fact of there being more feasible options out there. Words of wisdom: Come here to «people watch»; as opposed to the food — THAT won’t disappoint. Take your quest for appetite satisfaction elsewhere. Fin ~

I always vow to try something new on the menu but I end up getting the infamous lobster and shrimp pizza. EVERYTIME. It’s that great. This is one of the pro’s of Berris. The others are: no corkage fee. Con: no alcohol served Pro: open til 4am con: always crowded after hours. Almost like a club. Parking will be a hassle to find because of the meters and permit parking surrounding the area. Unless you are a parking magnet like me(and don’t believe in valet) expect to circle around a few times. It’s better to call ahead and pick up. You’ll love it.

Ordered to go for a late night at the office from here and had a great experience and meal. FOOD I ordered the tortilla soup and the grilled salmon salad. Both were well flavored and delicious on a cooler LA night. Neither was so heavy that I couldn’t keep up the grind. SERVICE Called in my order and in 30 minutes flat, Adam was at my door with a smile. The woman who took my order on the phone was so sweet and recommended the soup to me, which I loved! Usually delivery takes longer, but I was pleasantly surprised to get to my soup while it was still warm! All the food was well-packed and arrived intact. I was very satisfied with the service and food and will be ordering again!

Consumers be aware: stay away from Berri’s Café unless you don’t care about getting ripped off. All of the poor reviews here share a common theme: this place is systematically stealing from and bullying its customers under the direction of management… this business adds an illegal mandatory 20% gratuity for parties or 1 or more, overcharges for food items on your receipt that do not correspond with menu prices and sneakily serves you with an expensive bottle of Fiji water even if you ask for tap water. This business is committing fraud and will be reported and investigated. I believe they recently lost their liquor licensing for serving after hours under the table for outrageous prices. Anyways, here is a list of of my groups’ experience last night: 1) The music is so loud that you cannot carry on a conversation but instead get a headache. When we asked a random server in sight to lower the music he said no, gave us an awkward fist-pump to his chest and told us that the music is usually even louder. I get this kind of «scene» if it was late night, but it wasn’t. It was 10:45PM and the place was empty. He seemed suspicious for being under the influence of drugs. 2) The servers add 20% gratuity to your bill even though the ‘Late Night’ menu clearly states that 20% gratuity is only added to parties of 6 or more. According to 2015 law, The California State Board of Equalization, «The amount will also be considered mandatory when the menus, brochures, advertisements or other materials contain printed statements that notify customers that tips, gratuities, or service charges will, or may be added, to the bill. Examples of printed statements include…» Even though the printed menu stated that automatic gratuity would be added to parties of 6 of more, the General Manager said that they add it to parties of 1 or more. He is clearly breaking the law and will be reported. 3) The servers will not ask if you want tap or bottled water but instead bring you the most expensive bottled water and charge you for it. 4) If the food comes out cold as it did for us, when you ask to return it you are given attitude and looked at like you are from Mars. 5) The General Manager is a bully. He also happened to be our server and brought us the check. He added on 20% gratuity even though we were a party of 5. When we politely asked him for 20% gratuity and Fiji bottled water to be taken off the check since we were only a party of 5 and did not order the water, he said no. The ‘Late Night’ menu clearly states 20% gratuity is added to parties of 6 or more and we pointed it out to him. He still refused and said they have been adding it to parties or 1 or more doing for the past 20 years. We again said that per the menu he cannot charge us the 20% gratuity. He replied that he would update the menu and after a drawn out argument agreed to remove the automatic gratuity. But before he did, he invited himself to sit down at our table and explained that«Our servers do not work on an hourly rate, just tips and we deal with drunk people that come in here late, so you have to understand where we are coming from.» So basically, the General Manager told us that they are not paying their employees an hourly rate and ripping off both drunk AND sober people by adding in false gratuities and to top it off providing very poor customer service. I’ve never had this experience with other late-night restaurants like Mel’s Diner, Kitchen 24 or Swingers. Quite the contrary, I’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences there. 6) The General Manager beyond unprofessional but flat out scary. We did not leave a tip because of the poor experience(cold food, attitude, uninvited lecture) and as we were walking outside to our car he chased us down and verbally attacked the only male in our group. I immediately took out my my phone to video tape him and his tone and demeanor changed. Our friend told him politely to go back into his establishment as he was now harassing us. I will be filing a police report and reporting the incident as this type of service is dangerous to the public and needs to be investigated. I will also be submitting a complaint to the Better Business Bureau as well as the California State Board of Equalization. 7) I posted the video below of the General Manager chasing us down outside but unfortunately by the time I was able to get my iPhone out and ready, our friend had already neutralized his tone by letting us know that he was harassing us outside of the restaurant. The GM yelled as he ran to us with the check in hand«It’s customers like you that make us charge 20% gratuity.» Excuse me but we were all sober, just finished watching a Tango dance show at the Saban, all young professionals and reasonable people. He was clearly projecting his unhappiness with his job onto us. 8) I also posted pictures of the ‘Late Night’ menu with the back clearly stating that 20% gratuity is added to parties of 6 or more.

Heard about the lobster pizza. People were not wrong — it is delicious. Parking was the biggest pain about this place, however I parked in the structure at the Beverly Connection and just walked over. The place was pretty empty for dinner on a weekday, but that was good because no reservations were needed. The server was alright… she came off pretty rude but we just decided that it was because she was foreign(she had a European accent). The bread at the beginning was not good. The pasta with vodka sauce was only okay, and the strawberry tart for dessert was hard as rocks and not that good. But that lobster pizza is worth it. We should have only ordered that! There isn’t even lobster on it, it’s just lobster sauce with shrimp on top. It doesn’t look pretty but it’s really good.

Nope. When we first arrived we were tickled because it was such a laid back, cute and intimate spot with cool décor but that’s the only appeal that it had. We ordered the lobster pizza and pure juices. Food: Couldn’t taste any lobster and the bottom of the pizza was completely burnt to a crisp. The burnt flavor overpowered the pizza but the sauce tasted good. Our juice was warm, yes it was from a juicer but dang, a few ice cubes or frosted glass would’ve given it a nice touch. Seating: We arrived right before it got super crowded and the seating was horrid. They placed a table of six girls right on top of us– meaning that left one girl’s back facing/touching our table with her long hair almost going into our drinks every time she decided to play with it. Which was too often. Gross. Seating in the restaurant was so cramped that the wait staff could barely maneuver around them properly. Definitely a fire hazard. Service: Although friendly, we only saw our waiter when we placed our order and flagged him down to ask for the check. $ 74 for what? Lesson learned. Other notes: — A block away from the Beverly Center. — Street parking. — Outdoor seating.

Berri’s = overrated. First of all, I asked our server if they serve alcoholic beverages because we didn’t receive a drink menu and she said, «Not really but we have some drinks that we can make»??? Um, WTF does that mean? She basically told me that they can offer me a glass of white wine but that they aren’t supposed to be selling alcohol at the moment. I didn’t care so I ordered the wine. It was gross. Very flat. It tasted like the Barefoot brand. The food was just okay. We ordered a goat cheese pizza with mushrooms and a chopped salad. The chopped salad was pretty good, as was the pizza, but nothing that I would rush back for. The bill came and they charged us $ 15 for a disgusting glass of wine… funny! My boyfriend asked for a glass of water and they brought out a bottled Fiji water @ $ 7 a bottle. So yea, Berri’s is overrated. You are paying for the ambiance which is… not that great. Berri’s attracts an eclectic crowd of Beverly Hills personalities and leaves more to be desired.

3.5 stars. I haven’t had the chance to dine in here so this review is strictly for pick-up. The service wasn’t bad and they were very friendly in taking my order over the phone and they let me know how long they would take. Parking sucks because it is right on 3rd street so if you’re lucky, you can grab metered street parking(FYI– these meters take card yay), but for pick up, I just kind of parked my car in front and just ran in to pay for my pizza. I didn’t have a problem with this, but it wasn’t busy either. I ordered the lobster pizza because the combination of lobster and pizza just sounded so perfect and I never thought about having the two together. A small 12 inch is about $ 23 and the 20 in goes for about $ 35. By the time I got home, the pizza was pretty cold already, but after heating it up, it wasn’t so bad. The pizza is good, but was missing something. I threw on some spicy mayo and that was pretty damn good. I also wish the pizza was a little thicker. Pros: –Open late. until 4am! How dangerous would this be if I lived closer… –15% off with Unilocal check-in, but this only applies to dine-in
