This place is so rad! Where else are you going to have this much fun at an ex-​brothel in Mid City? The people that own it are really sweet and are even letting me have my birthday party there. They have regular events and another huge one that is coming up is FMLY FEST! The live music is awesome, the people are great and the atmosphere is very happy, as well as unique. There is plenty of parking space, but you really should just ride your bike. With a liquor store right across the street, have yourself a smashing good time at The Bacchus.

Former brothel with the most of the same décor and furniture (try not to think about that too much). Each room has a different theme and changes every month from what I was told. A fun house with the best music. DJ Cosmic Dan was spinning some Echo & the Bunnymen, Smiths, and other awesome 80s bands. The atmosphere is very much art school/​hippie house party. It reminded me of my college days where you just went to someone’s home to drink, talk and just be.
You must RSVP and fee is by donation, cash only.

whhhattt?! this use to be an old whore house?! god, i love this place. all the little rooms were so eccentric, and the art work on the walls just add to how freakin’ cool this place is. too much fun. tooo much fun.
