I was being lazy and this place is very close to my apartment, so I gave it a shot. We had the orange chicken, spicy eggplant, bok choy and vegetarian egg rolls. All the food was delicious, and the portions were large! The eggplant wasn’t quite as spicy as I would have liked, but that’s a personal preference. The woman who helped me at the restaurant was very friendly, and I love that this place has a parking lot. There was plenty of parking because the stores that use that lot were mostly closed, so I am not sure how busy that lot gets during normal business hours. I will definitely be back!

I really dig this place for the bomb combo Phở, friendly, quick service and small mom and pop shop feel. Good prices for the amount of food!

Always try everyone twice. That’s my motto in life, especially when it comes to food. I really wanted Asian Fusion to be my to go Asian spot on the west side but I’m sorry to say that it ain’t. The first time I gave it a go, I purposely ordered a simple dish: chicken broccoli. I figured no one can mess up stir frying chicken with broccoli. I wanted to believe that people who own restaurants have abilities to cook better than I do. But I was wrong. The chicken was bland and rubbery, I felt like parts of it were old and still raw. Not sure how to describe it but I ended up giving 90% of the dish to my dog. She made a face while eating it too. The broccoli was extremely undercooked. If you wear dentures, you should stay away from it. The worst part was the sauce they stir fried it in. It was a gooey sweet brown sauce that didn’t taste fusion nor Asian. It was just brown and tasteless. Two weeks later, this girl got triple twins pregnant lady phở cravings and decided to give Asian fusion another try. I ordered their beef brisket phở to go. To my surprise, they packed the noodles in a cute little«ramen» bowl, the soup in a separate container, and the veggies in a little plastic bag. Not a bad start. I took a sip of the soup and was immediately hooked. I was almost too surprised that I actually liked it. The brisket was also decent. So far so good, I thought. Then, 15 bites later I started to get real thirsty and headachy. Yep, I had just eaten 3lbs of MSG and instant phở powder broth. But believe me, it was so damn good. Anyhow, to make this short and sweet: if you are craving for phở and absolutely can’t drive yourself to ktown, get it here. It will definitely satisfy your cravings but you’ll get a headache and chug three liters of water as a consequence. Don’t get their chicken broccoli, if you want a decent version of it– I will cook for ya. Just slide a message in my DM. ;)

I enjoyed a delicious dinner last night with my partner before attending our Book Club. Excellent and quick service. Friendly staff. Sweet little space to enjoy good Asian fusion and have conversation. Check it out.

Asian Fusion is my favorite Asian food spot in LA. They have a great combination of Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai food. Personally, I get the Chicken Cashew, Beef Udon, or the Beef Broccoli, and my roommate always gets some Phở, egg rolls, or a side of broth. Since it’s so local we always hit it up. Also, I never hesitate taking an out of town friend there. The food is extremely fresh and tasty. What that means is they don’t cook it until you order it and all of their ingredients very well selected. I’m a constant regular and the employees are always quite friendly. The atmosphere is that of a small quiet diner and I also enjoy eating in. I definitely recommend you try this place!

I hate that I have to do this but I am. This place gave me food poisoning. I really wanted to like it, my BF loves it and it’s right down the street from his apartment. I got the charbroiled chicken and rice. The next morning I was vomiting up a storm. I am 95% positive it came from this restaurant, because it was the changed variable in my day. Sorry Asian fusion :/we will not be returning. Well maybe he will, but I won’t!

For someone who constantly looks for Vietnamese restaurants specifically for Phở, spring rolls, and Vietnamese coffee. There is a struggle living on the west side and looking for a good bowl of phở. I used their delivery services tonight and I ordered Combo Phở [rare steak, brisket, tendon, tripe and meat ball], 4 spring rolls, and thai tea [was feeling tea tonight]. My honest opinion is they did well. I will definitely order again. The Phở broth is a light broth. I prefer a bolder broth but the flavor is right. All the meat was on point but the noodle was a bit under cooked. I just heated up a little bit more and it was good. The spring rolls [and this is my personal opinion for tradition] was missing pork slices. But it was still very good. And the thai tea was good as well. Over all I enjoyed the meal I shared with my little son. If you’re looking for a traditional, it’s almost there. They did a very good job. I am very critical and for this area yes they are good.

It’s hard to find good asian cuisine in the 90034. This is the second time I’ve eaten there, including a pick up order. Each time the food has been fresh and consistent. Orange chicken and pork chow mein are my absolute favorites. The phở is also a good choice. Don’t hesitate to stop by and try the food. It’s all good.

Every time I see the word fusion in a restaurant’s name, I hesitate to eat there. Then I saw the wide variety of items on the menu and thought this can’t be good. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The only thing fusion about the food is the fact that you can get fries with your banh mi. That’s the kind of fusion I dig! The vermicelli was very authentic, the true test for Vietnamese food is the grilled pork and fish sauce. Though the fish sauce was a bit sweet for my taste, everything else was done right for me. The phở looks good(didn’t try it but saw it and smelled it). I will be back for sure.

I had very high hopes for Asian Fusion given all the positive reviews, but for me, it was really just okay. Not bad, and will definitely do the trick to satisfy a craving for Asian food, especially if you live in the neighborhood, but nothing worth going out of your way for. By «Asian Fusion» they mean that they carry many different types of Asian food — Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese… not that they are fusing them together or with different types of cuisine. We opted to stick with Chinese as it seemed safer(the staff and cooks seemed to be Chinese). I had a daily special, the mapo tofu with minced pork, and my bf had the orange chicken. They bring out a bowl of white rice to each person to accompany the mains, which I appreciated(this is the traditional way to eat Chinese food). I had the same feeling about both dishes — they had a bit too much sauce, and the sauce was unnecessarily thick. A bit unauthentic — definitely designed more for the local folks. The best thing that I had was the green tea smoothie — delicious! And reasonably priced at $ 4. Service was pretty slow the night that we went — they had only one person seating tables, taking orders, bringing out food, and taking phone and in-person take out orders — but she was doing her very best and apologized, saying that someone had called in sick at the last minute, so hopefully it was a one off. The parking lot was small, but it was ample, and free, so no complaints there.

The reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is the price. $ 9.50 for phở is a bit much but, it was good so I can’t complain too much. I glanced at the menu at things I would order in the future; $ 12.50 for the pork chop platter, comes with 2 pork chops. Pricey. Ok I’ll stop complaining and review the food. I had rare steak phở — GOOD! So far the best I’ve had in west LA. They give you a big portion I couldn’t even finish. Also had the chicken egg rolls which I will pass on in the future. It was decent, and the price wasn’t bad. 2 egg rolls for $ 3. Total bill came to $ 15.xx not bad. I’d definitely go back. Overall ambience of the place was okay, casual type of place. Service was good, I think I was greeted by the owner. The server was also polite. They also have a parking lot! Very rare in LA!

OMG this place is a game changer! Right in the neighborhood and food is like someone’s grandmother is working the kitchen. I have Vietnamese friends in OC who feed me like this. Owner operated eateries are the best! The Phở is fragrant and rich. The spring rolls are wrapped paper thin and bursting with the freshest greens ever. I have tried nearly everything on the menu with delight. Jenny and Cody call me by name when I come in, a nice perq of being a regular customer. Jenny’s husband is rhe chef. They will customize any dish for me if I ask. Food is so good I am eating out 2 – 3 times a week. Every friend I took in has become a regular. The vermicelli and charbroil noodle salads are to groan for. Great food at reasonable prices. Ample parking. Convenient location. Friendly owners. Doesnt get better than this. Jus sayin.

Stopped here for lunch after my dentist appt. Took it for Togo and got the pork & shrimp & egg roll vermicelli bowl & the grilled pork bahn-mi sandwich. The food was really authentic and delicious. My favorite was the bahn-mi which had this crunchy texture and yet soft. That makes a perfect bahn-mi, however the down side was so little meat coming from a girl who doesn’t like to much meat in her sandwich. I definitely suggest this little gem for food! It’s like having you mommy cook for you at home. :)

This place is amazing. The food tastes so fresh and you can tell it was made with love and care. I ordered the Vietnamese sandwich with pork. The bread was perfectly crunchy and yet soft. The pork was crispy and well cooked. Everything tasted low salt which is always nice. And the lunch special is super affordable. We live around the corner from this place and will definitely be back.
