As Of Now

I’m not a downtown resident, but for work related reasons, would find myself down in the arts district periodically. Not long ago I stumbled upon «As Of Now», and since I was planning on doing some early shopping for Valentines Day anyway, decided to check it out!
The space occupies the front of a cool architecture museum and is located opposite the indoor flea market/​Co-​op.
The store itself is beautifully decorated and very tastefully curated. I had no problem finding a couple of cute items to give my girlfriend for V-​day, and even found something that I had to buy for myself. I was well taken care of by the owners, and didn’t feel awkward or bothered while walking around perusing the shop.
Not only is this shop worth checking out if your in the area, but I would make a point to take a trip to the arts district to visit this shop! There is lots to do in the area as well; the flea market I mentioned sometimes has cool booths, and if it’s a warm day, an iced Spanish latte from Urth café is a must.
