Around The Globe Kid’s Center

My husband and I had appointments at the LA Convention Center that day, me in the morning and my husband in the afternoon, and nobody was available to look after our 3-​yr old. Good thing I saw this place online and our problem was solved. My husband brought our daughter for the open play while I went to my appointment, then we switched, he went to his afternoon appointment while I stayed at Around the Globe with our daughter.
We purchased a one-​day pass for her, with in and out privilege. We were the only ones there that day, so we had the while play area to ourselves! :-)
My daughter enjoyed everything. From the choo-​choo train, to the play kitchen, etc.
As for the 4-​star rating, I wish they have slippers for the bathroom. Everyone must wear socks while in in the play area and if you want to use the bathroom, you go there with your socks on, walk on the bathroom floor, only to go back to the play area with the same socks. Not really hygienic. So may I suggest the management put slippers both for kids and adults to use when going to the bathroom. Other than that, I think this place is awesome for little ones. :-)

Space is cute. I’d say more for infants 2.5yo and under. Older kids may get bored fast. Place is clean and set up with imaginary (kitchen, market place, play hours) and motor toys (soft climbers, slides, roller coaster). Here during open play so no interaction or guided play e staff. It’s quiet with couple nannies and their kids. I think of we come during the weekend w more people it may feel a little small.

This is a really awesome indoor space to enjoy with your kids! I took my 17 month old today and it’s perfectly suited for toddlers her age! The employee working was super sweet and helpful. The facilities are clean and well cared for and kept my little one entertained!!! Thank you! We will be back… Many times again!

Went to a Birthday at this place and was pleasently surprised! My daughter had a great time playing with all the toys, especially the kitchen set. They also had a small shop set up with kids clothes and items for purchase… pretty cute stuff! Definitely wouldn’t mind coming back.

I think this might be the first indoor play space in downtown area of Los Angeles. It’s barely used so still pretty nice. Yay!

New indoor kids gym in downtown. Nice and clean. Brought my 4 year old and he loved it!

Brought my babies here (17 and 5 months) for a play date with their cousin. These babies had a blast! I’ve never seen my daughter have so much fun at one of these places. I’m happy that this place is clean, padded, and indoors. Watching over two little ones is a lot easier when you don’t have to worry about them bumping their heads on hard floors! The owner is really nice and was very sweet with my kids. I will absolutely be going back.

Everything was brand new since it’s a new location parking you can try to street park but you might drive around for a while or you can do like we did pay $ 5 next door and valet park! — kids must wear socks incase you forgot your pair you can buy them there as well as drinks ! The also have a shop where you can buy clothing and gifts! Art days on Saturdays

This place just opened up… it’s a kid’s play center in Downtown LA. Since there has been a big change in DTLA, with young couples, which eventually brought about families, kids need a place to be safe, socialize and play/​exercise. Around the Globe Kid’s Center is just the place to go to.
It’s an indoor play area opened weekdays from 11am-​7pm for open play and they will be having different classes for little ones, like tumbling, art, dance and more! They have different kinds of slides, make-​believe play areas, things to climb on and over!
There’s a small boutique of kids clothes, children’s books, toys and more. Stop in and pick up something for your little one or for a birthday party!
And speaking of parties, weekends (Friday nights, Saturdays & Sundays) are available for parties. They have tables and chairs for your mommy and me play dates or birthday party.
It’s a brand new business, so go support a local business if you’re in the area & if you’re not in the area, I suggest you go anyway.
