Antojitos Tepeaca

The best «Huitlacoche» quesadillas. These are a «MUST-​TRY» item. I haven’t really tried Mexican food from the state of Puebla before but after eating here, I want to keep coming back and trying more.
Great customer service and honest people.

I once had a friend who said she was tired of Mexican food because it was just a few ingredients packaged in a bunch of different ways.
Places like this make me grin when they blow that idea right out o’ the water.
I speak a little Spanish. I dig Mexican food. What the heck is Huitlacoche? Or Picaditas? Or Pambazos? Flor de Calabasas? Is that pumpkin flower or squash flower?
These guys’d deserve 5 stars just for serving the fringe-​y items alone. Never mind that it tastes great and that the people are generous and friendly.
They must be doing something right because tonight was the o-​ficial launch of their brand new, shiny, spiffy truck. It’s not a large enclosed model but it’s a whole lot nicer than making food on a grill exposed to the elements.
Looks like rockin’ the culinary boat turns out just fine.
